7 I HAVE WAITED FOR THIS DAY

After a few minutes, the door opened as the Idol members came and entered the room. They joined the Managers on the conference table as Manager Anne introduces them one by one "Manager Emy, as you know they are the Star Idols. I would like you to personally meet our talented men; Saffron Kale, Taylor Rue, Adam Orson, and Rain Nile."

"Nice to meet you all…I'm looking forward onto working with all of you" Emy quickly replied with politeness in a professional manner.

Manager Anne continue to speak "before, when we are not this big family yet, I used to handle them all and then Manager Kate came and she handles Rain, followed by Manager Tim who handles Adam and Saff, while I currently handle Taylor. But since we have you now, you will be handling..."

At this state, Emy's mind is constantly praying not to handle the Idol who she had encountered the other day. It is not that she has something against the young man, but since their first encounter she can feel something attractively dangerous with his behavior as if inviting her to get closer to him that she just couldn't fathom why there seems to be this kind of attraction between that is pulling them together.

Although it doesn't mean that she didn't like the young man, it is better to keep distance from him and just focus on her work than get herself into trouble. However, it seems like their fate is working on its own mysterious ways as Emy hears the manager speak,

"You will be handling Saff"

Manager Anne points her hand to the same Idol that Emy had met on her interview day, and Emy was stunned at the moment that she became speechless, shifting her gaze from Manager Anne to Saff for seconds after hearing it.

"Hi Manager Emy…I have waited for this day to finally work with you" Saff said as he gave his angelic smile and captivating round brown eyes looking straight at Emy's long-lashed hazel eyes that is also staring back at him.

After introducing the Idols, everyone left the conference room to go on with their current schedules. Manager Anne showed Emy her desk at the manager's office located at the 8th floor of the building.

"This will be your office table and extra cabinets for your stuffs, that are manager tim's and manager kate's, and that is mine. We are in just one office for us to communicate easily"

"Manager Anne this is a bit too big and spacious for just the four of us" Emy being curious so she asked,

"yes, as you noticed we have our own pantry, meeting table and receiving area that looks like a comfortable living room because most of the time we have the Idols here with us" Manager Anne answered.

"Oh…" Emy's awkward tone reaction, but Manager Anne being sensitive enough with others reaction easily notices that something is bothering her.

"Am I too fast for you dear? You can tell me if there's anything you don't understand, you can always approach me" Manager Anne says as to comfort Emy.

The woman is ten years older than Emy, and she is still single at her age that Emy thought maybe because she was so dedicated with her job and how she takes care of everything especially their talents. Emy then smile to Manager Anne because of the warm treatment she has been receiving since the first time they had met.

"I understood it all well Manager Anne…Thank you for the warm welcome" Emy says politely.

"But may I ask one thing…Does the Idols has prior information on who was applying for this position? And who got it?" Emy asked as it has been bothering her ever since the interview day when she had met Saff and took her to that unoccupied conference room.

"No, this matter is just up to us managers, HR team and the president. Why did you ask my dear?" Manager Anne answered and continues "Saff just got the confirmation today before he was introduced to you that you would be handling him as his new manager".

"Oh I see…" Emy got more confused hearing this.

"But saff had expected you…and so I think he had anticipated this day to be official…it's like you have been chosen my dear" Manager Anne says as she smiles warmly to Emy.

"What do you mean manager Anne?"

"Oh I didn't mean anything with that, just my random thought!" Manager Anne says while laughing teasingly at Emy and then she continues "I'll leave saff's file at your table including his schedules and their Dorm address too, you can arrange your stuffs first and let's have lunch later" and with that Manager Anne left.

Emy got more puzzled with what Manager Anne had said, it just added more questions in her head but she shrugs it for now, she needs to put aside her thoughts about that for now as she have to focus on her work and arranging her stuffs first.

She put a picture frame on her table which has her picture with her daughter, just the two of them now. It was taken when her daughter celebrated her 6th birthday, six months after her husband's death and it is the first birthday without him.

Emy stares at it for awhile, it is no longer surprising for her that their smiles at the picture look so sad. Suddenly, she feel that longing to see her husband again, her tears starts to well up in her eyes but she fight back the tears to not let it fall, she took a deep breath instead and continue with her other stuffs.

When she was already done with arranging her stuffs, she open the files that was handed awhile ago by Manager Anne, it has all the line up schedule of the idol, their routine, their production team, and a brief record about Saffron Kale; his likes, his background, and including his medical record.

"He is only twenty five years old…so I'm seven years older…but he act as if we're the same age…" Emy whispers to herself.

Suddenly the company cell phone that was also handed to her rings and when she looks at it, a name Saff is on the caller id, "Hello?" Emy answered,

"Are you done with your stuffs?" Saff asked,

"Oh…yeah..I'm just reviewing your files, why?"

"Manager Emy, I am really hungry…let's have lunch first...I'll meet you at the entrance" and Saff just cut the call.

Emy stare at the phone for awhile, Saff's tone was as gentle as a little kid longing for her mother's attention, but it is in a sweet way.

Mean while, Saff and the other Idols are at their executive room, it is like their own private space when they are inside the company building.

"Are you going out saff?" adam asked,

"Yah…just lunch out with my manager" Saff answered with bright eyes and full smiles,

"We've got all the foods delivered, don't you like those?" Rain enters the conversation.

"Nope! I'd like to try something else"

"Weird…since when did you become picky?! You are always the first to eat" Adam teasingly says to Saff,

"Just today...i'll bring some for the both of you when I got back!" and Saff excitedly walks toward the door but before he open it, Taylor says "Saff be careful out there, we don't want to attract paparazzi, okay?", Saff smiles at Taylor giving him assurance and then he went out.

Emy headed at the entrance to check if Saff is really meeting her there when a black luxurious Mercedes AMG GT sports car stops in front of her, the window slides down and she saw Saff smiling at her as he went out of his car just to open the front seat door for her and because of this Emy is dumbstruck by his action once again.

Smooth and clear face, bright round brown eyes, natural kissable pink lips that is gently smiling at her, with the natural light coming from the sun rays, Saff looks like an angel in human form. He is wearing white loose long sleeves, black pants and white sneakers.

'Does he have to open the door for me?!' she thought to herself

Feeling a bit embarrassed as she notices some of the company staffs are already looking at them, she get in the luxurious car quickly and Saff close the door and quickly dashed to the driver's seat as well. He starts the car engine and drive.

They are not that far from the company yet when Saff notices Emy's heavy breathing and when he looks at her hands it was already trembling. While Emy is trying so hard to calm herself as she doesn't want Saff to freak out once her anxiety attack triggers, she closed her eyes while focusing on regulating her breathing.

She then felt the car stopped and heard a window roll down beside her, her eyes snapped open to see that Saff let the window at her side half-opened and he speak "do you want to keep the window open so you could get fresh air instead?..."

"Ahmm…people might see you driving…" Emy answered.

"Don't worry about me… I always have this!" and Saff took his black bucket Hat and black face mask, he wears it and say "I will look ten times more handsome with this!" and then Emy saw Saff's eyes smiles at her as it is the only visible part now that half of his face is covered.

Saff continue to say "Manager emy I will drive slowly so you will not be uncomfortable, don't worry I will be sure to keep you safe" his brown eyes seriously concern that is looking straight at her hazel ones.

His kind words made Emy speechless and her heartbeat started to race but this time she knew that it is not only just because of the anxiety attack, then as Saff had promised, he started to drive slowly.

"If I could, I would like to hold your hands to keep them from trembling until we get to our destination".
