[Spirit Gathering]

An initial stage of cultivation which involves absorbing Spiritual Energy from the natural world and refining it inside the body.

[Spirit Foundation]

The stage after Spirit Gathering. Once a cultivator's Spirit Energy crosses a certain threshold (in the volume and/or density of the Spirit Energy), they'll be able to breakthrough to this stage and build there their spiritual body.

[Spirit Core]

The stage after Spirit Foundation. It involves forming a Core by using the body as a crucible and the current Cultivation Base as raw material to forge himself again.

[Spirit Soul]

The stage after Spirit Core. The Spirit Soul resembles an infant or miniature person and resides in the central body, typically sitting in a meditative position. The Spirit Soul can travel outside the body and is like a second life for cultivators – if their main body dies, their consciousness can continue to exist in the Spirit Soul.
