Chapter 7
When we continued our trip, everyone decided to go to sleep in the carriage and Kaishin was the one who drove it. When we got enough sleep already, Aton traded place with Kaishin and drove it instead.
In the carriage, we discussed the time limit of our mission…
"You guys will be going to the church in the next town right? You have to return and get us before sunset. After you rescued everyone in there, Hide them to this Area of the forest. There is a cave in there that can be their shelter for the time being… We don't want to attract the attention of the master of the land by letting the victims return to their families… This shall be our safest move for now…" I said as I explained…
"In the list that Kaishin gave me, There are only eleven Nobles which we can trust and that includes me and Baron Jibel already… The emperor was on the list but, we can't count on him now for the kings had already taken control of his situation… The others that are left on the list is my Duke house, Marquise Leon, Baron Hiska, Duchess Linda, Marquise Harold, Duke Vince, Duke Gleo, and Duke Jodel… It was quite a few numbers but gladly, a lot of this peoples have strong power and money…" I explained
"Now, our first targets are Barons, To Marquises and Then to Dukes and Duccheses…If we have the chance, it wout be great to reach the emperor…" I said
I don't think that I want to ask Harkeste to join us at all… It still burns in my memory…The moment that Harkeste didn't have faith in me at all… Was our relationship and bond only that fragile that he thinks that it could be destroyed at any moment?
I thought that if it is him, I could trust my everything to me for I thought that he would do the same. I didn't mind getting married to him for I thought that if it was him, he could be a great partner which understands me the best for he was by my side for so long…
Looks like, marrying him was a big mistake at all… I wonder how mother and father are doing?... They could be really angry and worried by now…
As I think about this stuffs, Kaishin and the others were also quiet and seems to be thinking about something too.
A few minutes later and the silence were broke by Fesil with an idea that he proposed to us…
"My lady, If we will use a cave as our evacuation center for the victims then, Shouldn't we check if he place is safe first? We could also make that place, our temporary base for now…" Fesil proposed
What he said is indeed, good… I haven't thought of it before!
"Ok we will do that! You're a smart guy!" As I said this, Fesil felt happy by being praised and blushed a bit…
Just as we were talking about the plan in checking if the cave could be safe for the victims to stay, Aton talked to us…
"Everyone, The sun shall set soon! Should we camp to the place that you guys mentioned? The Town of Rugal is just two town away anyway… We could arrive there by an hour. If I remember correctly, The forest that you guys mentioned is between the town of Rugal and the town before it… We could arrive there…Hmm… Let us say that, it will take us 40 minutes or so?, To arrive at that certain forest." Aton said
Comil and Kaishin stood up and looked excited…
"Who wants to hunt pigs???" Comil asked
"Me! I do!! I want to hunt!!!" Kaishin answered, hyped up
They looked adorable in my sight but, it seems that it was not the same for Fesil… He looked tired and made a face palm pose…
I chuckled a bit and told Aton to go to the forest…
It looks like, that we have to camp again? Not that I don't mind tho…
I've never felt this fun and challenging feeling when I was still living as an aristocrat… It feels as tho, I was living a luxurious life back then, compared to the commoners….
I enjoy the way I live now, more than before…I don't want to be treated as a special person at all for what happened back then…
