10 Chapter 10
A few minutes have passed and we've arrived to the mansion of Baron Jibel...
His mansion has two guards in the gates and nobody is allowed to enter without any appointment to him.
"We are a merchant from the east and got goods that the baron and his family might be interested... Can we make an appointment to him?" Kaishin said to the gaurds and made them talk to the secretary of the Baron and made an appointment.
Once i get my mind into something and focus on it, i totally forget about the things unrelated to the things that i want to focus onto... Still, There are still a part of me that is still thinking about it. Right now, i am ninety percent focused into this...
Kaishin and I were both escorted to the living room and was instructed to wait for our turn which is an hour from now...
we held one attache case which are a normal one and a long one for each of us and said that it contains some 'Treasures and Jewels' from the east but is actually containing. Mine contains Guns and grenades while Kaishin has his bow, arrow, and knives...
We sit still at the living room and was served by pastries and teas while waiting...
(Wow!~ i haven't had these stuffs in a while now! i love chamomile tea and egg pie! i missed them so much!) i said inside of my mind as i stare at those delicious treats that any lady would like.
As i was about to reach out for a slice, Kaishin blocked my hand and looked me into the eye as he whispers slowly...
"Don't touch it yet... i'll try it first." He quietly said to me and i nodded in response...
Kaishin took a fork and got a little piece from the pie... By the time that he swallowed it, the thought that he might die if it is a poison, just came in my mind...
"Kaishin!..." i called his name as i wish that it wasn't still to late, in spite of it being take.
"Don't worry. I'm immune to drugs and poisons that is why, it won't affect me at all." He said as he smiled towards me with an eyes that doesn't want to see me get worried for him...
A few moments later and a made came with a chessboard and a message...
"Master said that you two could play a game as you wait for him." The maid said as she handed over to us a chessboard...
it wouldn't hurt to play right? As i decided and invited Kaishin to play with me...
We are now assembling the chess pieces and started playing... Kaishin plays with the white pieces while i play with the black pieces...
As the usual move like with the others, Kaishin move the knight first and i also did the same...
As far now, I've made (mostly) the same moves that Kaishin made until at some point which i have been waiting for... I changed my moves to a different one from Kaishina and trapped him without him knowing of it...
"Checkmate" i said as i placed down the piece and commit victory...
As i celebrated my victory, A man appear from behind and clapped to us with the way how nobles do it...
"Magnificent!//Clap Clap Clap// the way you smile as you move every pieces makes me think that you had already calculated everything from the very beginning... hmmmm??? And that expression... you were teasing him aren't you?"
It was Baron Jibel walking towards us...
The two of us stood up and greeted Baron Jibel with a handshake.
"I heard that you guys have goods from the east so... i wanted to check out if there is any of your products that could attract my curiosity and could be a good gift to my wife and daughters" Baron Jibel said as he gazes towards the Attache cases...
"Uhm...Baron Jibel... we would like you to be the only one to see it for, These products are on high quality that we only want nobles to be the first one to check it out." I said to Baron Jibel and he agreed easily.
He dismissed the attendants and maids around and left only me and Kaishin.
