Feud finally sparks fight

Yuki understood Akihiko didn't understand what she trying to do there, so she gave up, "fine, I am just trying to help you clean the house but if you don't want it then I can't help it," as if he was about miss a good chance.

Elders got angry for her acting righteous, Yuki was enjoying making them angry.

It was a plan where the elders who support Yuki would benefit if Yuki became an alchemist and hypercritics would be suppressed and vice versa.

Everyone got surprised, the elders against her laughed for thinking that she was bluffing. Akihiko's face lit with hope, he already knew Yuki had a plan when she was showing such attitude.

Gakuto became very serious; Yuki was thinking about how Fuminori was digging his own grave. The Hoshi family members didn't interfere as the great elder of the Hoshi family was on Yuki's side.

Even though both families had more elders who oppose Yuki but there was no specific leader in the Hoshi family to oppose Akihiko intensely like Fuminori for the Kanakuba family.

"Look, do you still want to be part of this family?" Fuminori questioned, "Anyone who doesn't want to die come with me, I will become the family head of the Kanakuba family from now on, elders from the Hoshi family are also welcomed, you will get the same status as you have in the Hoshi family."

Everyone at once looked at furious Akihiko, he was finally burst for Fuminori's insolence, "when your father was kicked out of Nakamura family the Kanakuba family gave their woman- your mother to him and took him in, is this how you repay for the hand that fed you?"

Fuminori was intimidated, so to not let others think he was a coward, he shamelessly proclaimed, "Isn't letting him keep his life more than enough repayment," he was purposely provoking them. If they made a scene now, other forces would definitely support Fuminori.

Yuki wouldn't care if it were even a rape incident (just saying) but saying one's life was their repayment was too much; her belief was every life had an equal chance to live, that too saying that to Yuki's father. She became impulsive.

"Fuminori," Yuki called which got the full attention of everyone for her boldness, "don't take the liberty of thinking that we are cornered by Kanesuke. Our family is not something you can rule just by name of some false alchemist. Father, declare them as kicked out of our family."

That was the first time in his life Gakuto saw his daughter that angry, so he went with the swing and announced, "Fuminori and his followers, I am banishing you from Kanakuba family."

Fuminori didn't back down and announced, "Kanakuba family belongs to us and I am its family head from this moment on."

Gakuto caught his storage pouch to take his weapon, Fuminori and others got alert, Gakuto requested, "Brother Akihiko, I need your help."

"My sword is already in my hand," Akihiko notified.

Everyone activated their chakras that emitted a huge pressure in the surroundings. The servants, maids and people around got scared, their bodies became heavy and couldn't move but they mustered their will to live and started to run away.

12 elders on the Fuminori side and 10 people on the Gakuto side, including both families.

All elders took out their weapons, it was silent 1 second ago and suddenly sounds of weapons clashing filled the surrounding. Everyone dashed towards his or her nearest enemy. "Yuki, take cover," Gakuto ordered in rush.

Yuki knew she was just a burden and went to take cover, the elders started to clash. Fuminori clashed with Gakuto.

"Capture that little bitch," ordered Fuminori, "we can present her to master Kanesuke." Gakuto got raged for that, he used his full power without holding back.

Normally cultivators start with a small amount of power to save energy, as they would be surrounded by enemies all the time like Nakamura and Murata families. They couldn't use their powers recklessly.

All the elders took the battles outside of the house, the surroundings were getting destroyed. The children and women in the Hoshi house were scared due to the commotion; the guards were protecting them from the shockwaves of attacks.

Akihiko and the great elder Ken of the Hoshi family were fighting 3 people at a time to match their numbers. Yuki was in shock by looking at the destruction caused by their fighting, many innocent people were getting hurt due to their carelessness.

Walls were getting destroyed; roads and ground were getting cracks. That was her first time seeing such destruction and got wondered.

'This is just the tip of the iceberg,' the system explained, 'this world has many times more powerful people who can destroy mountains with one twitch of their finger and you will have to face them in the future.'

'Will many people die like this?' she asked.

'Yes. Do you think it's unfair?'

'Nah! I am just worried that the blood would stink,' said Yuki carefreely, 'inner peace means not caring about all those things which will eventually happen. I just have to make sure that the losses are minimal.'

'The reincarnation cycle choice is good, kind enough to be cautious but heartless enough to leave past in past.'

'Don't tell me the reincarnation cycle killed me,' asked Yuki in doubt.
