The Hunt

Jing Sheng created 13 Grass puppets before going to hunt the beast emperor. He figured out that he didn't need to manipulate the puppets by taking but they could receive orders through to his will too, but they had a flaw of range meaning they can only recive Jing Sheng's instruction when they are in specific range. The range for a Rank 5 puppet was 4km.

Jing Sheng rechecked all that he had created, he noticed that the the potato mine gu were comewhat corroding the metal cases v=created by create metal gu there was some what friction among them just like lightning qi gu. At this rate in a month they would be fully corroded. He got dressed up wearing a purple attire. Jing Sheng exited the village from the West gate there he met Bo De and Bo Lie.

"I want to thank you for your help the other day" Jing Sheng thanked them hypocritically.

"No senior we should be thanking you…you are on your way to kill the beast emperor, right? Thank you for helping my Bo Village senior" Bo De said with a tone full of admiration.

"Haha its nothing really..."

After they chatted for a while and they parted ways and Jing Sheng headed towards the location of the beast tide. It took him around six hours to reach the valley.

He arrived at his planned location and found a high ground where he saw a massive beast tide composed of lynx of all types.

"I am not using Falcon Sight gu but can still see them from this location"

From this distance the lynx looked like small ants there numbers in thousands

He poured his rank 4 gold primeval essence inside Falcon sight gu and started scouting the lynx group. He saw 7 hundred best king, 4 thousand beast king and 1 myriad beast king and their overall leader the beast emperor.

Jing Sheng gave 10 of the thirteen puppets the order to launch the attack. The remaining three were to guard him.

The attack of the puppets provoked the beast emperor and he roared and all the 7 hundred beast kings attacked. But in a few moments, all the 100-beast king dropped like flies. Puppets created from Rank 5 grass puppet gu were no joke they had rank 5 battel strength.

This angered the beast emperor as he roared again and this time all the thousand beast kings and the one myriad beast king attacked but they were also repelled by the 10 rank 5 puppets but the were not able to kill them because of the overwhelming majority of the lynxes. This time the puppets really pissed of the beast emperor and he attacked himself. He used his offensive gu worm both of them were rank 5 spit fire gu.

These gu spited fire just like a dragon. Two of the puppets were burned but the rest started to retreat on Jing Sheng's order.

But the lynx beast emperor still was in pursuit. The puppets were fast but compared to the lynx not so much. the six puppets ran at full strength but the lynx caught up and bit of the head of a puppet but the puppet was still running. After few breaths of time the head regenerated fully seeing this the lynx got angry.

He attacked the same puppet again and this time bit off the arm but the result was the still the same as before it regenerated. Seeing this he used his gu worm and the puppet was turned into ash in a split second.

"As expected, there weakness is fire.... and the rank of that spit fire gu is 5"

This time the beast emperor was happy. And it repeated the same thing again and another puppet fell. Now only four puppets were left but they were still running in the same direction. Lynx again bit off the head of a puppet out of instinct but again he was disappointed so he had to use the gu worm again and burn it to ashes.

After few breaths of time only two puppets were left one of the stopped and started attacking the lynx while other still ran Lynx fought this puppet for few breaths of time but the other one had gone far away.

The lynx was oozing with pride and killer instinct of a predator now and wasn't going to let a 'weak' prey go, now would he?

He ran with full strength and eventually caught up with the puppet but the puppet was standing still motion less. The lynx again bit out of instinct and the puppets head was ripped apart.

"Now!" Jing Sheng ordered and the puppet got a step back and stepped on a potato mine. All that time that Jing Sheng had spent to create potato mine gu, they were all buried here! The potato mine blew and it triggered the potato mines next to it to and the explosives blew too.

Boom!

It was so loud that even the Bo Clansman heard it.

The beast emperor was turned into rags in a split second not to mention the puppet whose ashes weren't even left.

"It sure lives up to Rank 5 strength" Jing Sheng said

The ragged lynx couldn't even stand up but was still breathing. It howled…more like it gave a cry for help…the other lynx heard the cry but they were too far away and couldn't do anything in a short time. But the lynx still had hope that they will eventually get here.

"Naïve animal what am I here for" far away Jing Sheng said to himself in a low voice.

He had been Gathering Lightning Qi all this time as his primeval essence sea was rock bottom

A low pealing voice resounded through out the surroundings but the Lynx wasn't alive to hear it. The lightning Qi entreated its eye and then inside its skull as brain matter spilled everywhere.

As the remaining lynx group were still on their way they could not compare to the beast emperor's speed and were left behind.

"Pity I can't go down there and pick up war spoils for now..." Jing Sheng didn't regret because with minimum effort he got the maximum results. At least he would get a rank 4 gu worm.

There were still 3 puppet standing beside Jing Sheng guarding him...

"Go"

With a single thought a puppet ran towards the corpse and stood there. When the other lynx arrived and saw the corpse the got angry and attacked the puppet. The grass puppet under the control of Jing Sheng who was sharing his sight with the puppet with help of a rank 2 gu worm share sight gu, the puppet ran into an empty place where there weren't any trees around and tactically ran while dogging certain places.

"Hmm not bad it is like I'm controlling a drone bot" Jing Sheng assessed.

Lynx in a frenzy pursued the puppet and then again

Bang bang bang

Explosions were heard they were not as loud as the previous one but enough to kill a hundred beast king.

It was a mine field of individual potato mines. The potato mine from a rank 4 potato mine was gu was enough to kill multiple lynxes. It was a bloodbath, everywhere scorched lynxes.
