Chapter 2513 Differing Opinions

"FANG YUAN, YOU CRAZY BASTARD YOU DESTROYED THE CORE OF THE 5 REGIONS!!!"

The roar of complete outrage originated from all 7 of the Venerable level existances at the exact same time, plus an additional one.

"Hmm?" Star Constellation noticed the extra voice but was too busy trying to formulate a solution. She had to act fast for every second she took more, and more lives were lost.

"We need to patch the core that holds the Gu World together! The death toll has already spread beyond just mortals. Some Rank 6s are also starting to perish!" Star Constellation shouted at the other Venerables.

The core of the Gu World wasn't the same as the core that makes up planets. After all, the Gu World is a flat plain.

Rather, the core is a sort of safety mechanism that helps contain, manage, and distribute, Immortal Essence and Dao Marks across the entire Gu World.

It achieves this by taking in Chaos and slowly releasing Chaos into the world as tribulations. This is how the process of Dao Marks is made.

For Immortal Essence, the Core turns the residual Chaos into Order and then mixes in the will of the Heavenly Dao to make it into an all encompassing energy that can be absorbed by the living beings of the world.

Fang Yuan hadn't truly destroyed the entire core that held the Gu World's plane of existence. He had only managed to severely damage it.

After all, the Core can theoretically rival the might of a Dao Emperor. Though it wasn't designed to withstand attacks, it is still resilient as it was built to contain an immense amount of power

But the cracks Fang Yuan managed to cause have begun destabilizing the core, allowing its power to spike, hence why white light shot forth from the ground, instantly vaporizing anyone below Rank 6.

And even among those at Rank 6, the newly advanced ones didn't have enough Dao Marks built up to survive for long either.

If they didn't have a friend or elder nearby or a strong enough defensive Killer Move…it was only a matter of time for them as well.

"Quick Earth, we need to stablize the core and repair the damages!"

"Quick Heaven, we need to stablize the core and repair the damages!"

Heaven and Earth shouted in unison,

"Let us go as well. We need to help," but Heaven cut them off,

"No! You need to finish the job, Fang Yuan is far too dangerous to let even a clone of his survivor. The threat that he poses is far too large!"

Earth nodded in agreement, "I too agree with Heaven on this, Fang Yuan is the greatest threat to have ever been born in the Gu World's history, it was a mistake to collaborate with him, I didn't think there was anyone deranged to this extent!"

Earth felt deep pain for all the lives that had been lost, and not just the ones that were alive, all the trees, rocks, rivers and mountains that were torn asunder by Fang Yuan left and indelible scar in her heart.

She felt the death of each and every one of them.

"It's too late to save those who have perished, but it's not too late to save those who are still around!"

The other Venerables nodded,

For Giant Sun and Heavenly Court, they weren't too worried, though the core's power wiped out most of all the mortals in the Gu World, it wasn't a catastrophic event yet.

Sure, given time, it would escalate into one, but at the present moment, the energy leaking out of the core was equivalent in strength to a Rank 6 Killer Move.

Just that it was being used on the entirety of the 5 Regions.

"Fang Yuan can't hold Wu Shuai in his aperture during his ascension. If not, he will never be able to place him back in the Gu World and would defeat the point of having a clone." Heaven shouted as he sped towards the west of the Central Continent, Earth joined him.

The others stared as their visages disappeared, the location they were heading to was obvious,

"I see," Star Constellation's eye turned into shining stars, "So that's what's at the bottom of the Earth Abyss."

Though an interesting revelation, there was no time for the Venerables to be curious about what other secrets lay in this world.

Right now, they had to find and eliminate Wu Shuai!

"He should be hiding in the Eastern Sea!" Spectral Soul reasoned, "Since, that place is under Fang Yuan's control, it would make the most sense."

Red Lotus retorted: "You're forgetting that it is also the most dangerous, who knows what manner of traps Fang Yuan has set up there before his ascension began."

"It's the dangerous places that are most likely to yield result," Spectral Soul shot back, annoyed that he was being questioned at what he thought was common sense.

"And it's that kind of foolhardiness that Fang Yuan is going to use to exploit us and wear down our strength on the 'obvious' answer."

Red Lotus and Spectral Soul stared daggers at each other.

"Hmph! If you're so smart, where do you think Wu Shuai is hiding!"

Red Lotus pointed his finger in the opposite direction.

"The Western desert? Why there?" Spectral Soul said with a raised brow.

"Think about it," Red Lotus tapped his head with his finger, "It's the furthest region from the Eastern Sea, and it's the only region with no Venerable present."

Thieving Heaven's 'revival was still unknown to the others, and thus, he was considered dead for good, along with Limitless.

"Hmm," Giant Sun scratched his chin, "It makes sense…but-"

Giant Sun launched his investigative methods into the Western Desert.

"I don't detect any traces of him there, granted Fang Yuan could have obtained a method to hide his presence completely from even us…let me try something."

Immortal Killer Move --------- The Right Path Forward

A golden light shot out of Gaint Sun and flew straight into the skies.

"What's that mean? He's in Spectral Heaven? Impossible your Move's broken." Spectral soul cast a contemptuous gaze at Giant Sun.

"Have some patience," just as Giant Sun said that, a golden light showered and spotlighted the Southern Boarder.

"Aha! He's in the Southern Boarder, and it makes sense since it is his birth region. There are bound to be secrets from 500 years in the future that we don't know about!"

Red Lotus and Spectral Soul squinted hard at Giant Sun.

But before another argument could break out, all 5 Venerables detected an unmistakable aura, coming from the Eastern Sea.

"See! I told you! He's there activating some Killer Move that will keep him safe until Fang Yuan ascends. We have to stop him immediately!" Spectral Soul didn't wait for a second opinion and rushed off.

"You!" Red Lotus was fed up with Spectral Soul's brash nature, but he followed along, "Is it really possible that it'd be this easy?"

Giant Sun stood in place, conflicted.

Star Constellation spoke out, "Go where your instincts guide you."

Giant Sun turned to face her, her eyes enraptured by swirling galaxies, clearly busy in deduction.

"You can go in peace, friend Giant Sun," Genesis Lotus patted him on the back, "I will hold down the Fort here while sending probes to the Western Desert."

Giant Sun nodded and rushed forth without another word.

Time was of the essence.

A faint wind floated by Genesis Lotus,

"Can I trust you to handle the Western Desert?"

If one were to see this sight, they would think Genesis Lotus had gone insane.

As the wind blew by, a faint whisper could be heard,

"We shall see."

Genesis Lotus nodded,

"Seeing is enough."
