I left after saying that to her, mainly because after saying that the crowd began to murmur. The tournament handlers rewarded me with a token. That could be exchanged for a free gu refinement from a master. I also gained my winnings from my betting, a whopping 100,000 primeval sea essence stones.

As i happy as i was about the money, i had to quickly head home. Since the end of the fight people had been starring at me and talking amongst each other. It was a weird feeling being watched and talked about. So i figured that the best thing to do was go home and lie low so that people forget about me.

So i did just that i stayed home for over a week just cultivating, and with ample primeval essence stones i felt i made good progress, but their was one issue. The final reward for the tournament which was the rare gu, was never given to me. At the end of the match i had asked about it, but they had told me that it would be brought to me at my residence. One whole week though seemed way to long in my opinion.

Luckily for me i have truth shines gu, if something shady is happening i can always prove that i had not received my well earned reward. As i was thinking so someone knocked on my door. Oh speak of the devil maybe thats the person bringing me my reward.

Getting up and answering the door i saw someone i wasn't expecting. It was ji..... their was an awkward silence for a few seconds.

Ji[ May i come in?]

Shu[... Sure]

I brought her to my small courtyard and we both sat down.

Shu[ So are you here to bring me my reward?]

She looked at me with a confused look.

Ji[ You did not agree to the deal though, but still i felt i had to give you something after i forced that match on you.]

And now its me who's confused

Shu[ No not that, are you not here to give me the tournament's promised gu? ]

Ji[ no, i only came to give you another gu. You haven't gotten the tournaments rewards?]

Shu[ No, i was told they would deliver it to me later, but that was a week ago.]

Ji[ Well thats weird..... I'll ask my parents about it if you like. Maybe they'll find out why]

Shu[ No thats ok, if i don't get what was promised I'll make sure to let everyone know that.]

Shu[ yeah strength and capability are two different things. Its good you learned from it, but you owe me nothing. So you don't have to give me anything.]

Ji[ no i have to, this was an important tournament and i was just messing around, and you didn't deserve that. I want you to have this]

She took out from her aperture a bettle the size of a nickel. It was mainly black with white wings.

Shu[ and what gu is this?]

I didn't accept the gu, i only looked at it.

In fact anyone who's a strength path gu master in our clan would know of this gu. Some gu are ranked differently based on the use of a gu. For example rank 1 cat strength gu can not compare to rank 1 bear strength gu. The deference of strength one receives from one gu to the other is huge, and killer whale strength gu would obviously give the user an insane amount of strength.

In fact this rank 2 killer whale strength gu is superior to a few rank 3 strength gu, and its food is lard it eats about four cups of it every two weeks. So its an easier gu to manage for strength path gu masters, but because of that its demand for it is incredibly high. To get this gu one would need connections more than money.

Ji[ yeah i was hoping to give you a better gu, but after i pulled that stunt my family started to place more restrictions on me. So this was the best i could get with my connections. Take it ]

Shu[ I told you earlier i don't want no charity.]

Ji looked like she was perplexed as to what to say next but before she could say anything i spoke up.

Shu[ i won't take it for free, but that doesn't mean i wouldn't mind buying it from you. If I'm not wrong the going price for rank 2 killer whale strength gu is about 55 thousand primeval essence stones.... but you can choose how much you'd like to charge me.]

I placed heavy emphasis on the last of my words. Ji heard me and seemed to accept my words.

Ji[ Alright then how about 25 no 30 thousand primeval essence stones? You don't have to pay me all at once, you can pay it off in increments and without any interest]

I didn't answer her instead i took out well stored gu and brought out the bags of primeval essence stones.

After saying that ji started to laugh.

Ji [ahh that reminds me of something. You've been cooped up in here this past week so im sure you haven't heard, but the people in the clan gave you a nickname.]

Honest savage? Hmmmm not bad.

After that we spoke for a bit and she left. Looks like I'll have to wait a bit longer or put away truth shines gu when i go out to avoid any unwanted attention. As i was thinking that from behind me someone spoke up.

???[ honest savage..... that nick name suits you well, because if i was you i would've taken her gu for free.]

I immediately turned to where the voice came from. There sitting down in my courtyard was a dark skin breath taking beauty. She looked like how my old world described dark elves, she had long straight white hair and everything. The only thing she didn't have was the pointy ears. An inkman

Shu[ who are you?]

???[ come sit]

She said that but i stayed put, readying myself to take action at any moment. Seeing me not move she sighed out loud and raised her hand. When she did that i was no longer in control of my body as my body did as she said and took a seat next to her. I activated all of my strength gu but that didn't change anything. She has to be a high ranked gu master or... an immortal.

???[ i know you like to play hard to get with the ladies, but in not interested in you that way.]

She put her hand down and i felt myself regain control of my body.

Shu[ Then may i ask why your here senior.]

She laughed lightly and raised her hand once again taking control of my body. I stood up and walked over to her and took one knee infront of her. She reached out her hands towards my face and cupped my cheeks.

Initel[ the "proof i had that you were under me was this.]

Her hands moved from my cheeks towards my forehead, where she grabbed my gu and showed me it. After that i felt i regained control of my body but i stayed put and looked at her.

Initel[ that's right truth shines gu is my creation and since your still capable of using it and you proudly display it for all to see. That was how i convinced others that your my disciple.]

Shu[ So what now am i now your disciple?]

She handed me back truth shines gu but this time it was rank 2, i never felt the need to upgrade it since i thought it'd be a waste of money, but since she took my gu and ranked it up in so little time with no issue the odds of her being an immortal increase.

Initel[ oh and since you were worried about the gu the tournament promised here i had it for you the whole time.]
