6 Middle stage achieved ,Refining a Deadly Arsenal

Chen Wei is in his room in a meditative state as he evaluates his own aperture with a deep and thoughtful look.

"Pale Green primeval essence, the sensation of cultivation is truly magnificent," he thinks to himself after advancing to the rank 1 middle stage following an exhaustive cultivation session.

"Let's try using gu again," he begins testing the Blood Cut Gu once more, each use now costing only 3.75% of primeval essence, and the overall power increasing again.

"This definitely involves Dao marks, but which path? Perhaps Heaven path?" he considers the idea but quickly dismisses it. He knows how special and difficult to cultivate that path is, as throughout human history, only three Venerables have been able cultivated it, and two of them aren't even born yet.

"More important than that now, I have to spend my time preparing for refining," Chen Wei speaks to himself while beginning to review the plan to refine three gu he has in mind to complement his combat system.

"They will be based on the Strength path Rabbit Rush Gu, Water path Water Armor Gu, and Water path Water Leak Gu. For now, that's it, but I still have to refine more gu when I reach the peak stage," Chen Wei sends one of his servants to the market to buy these gu on his behalf, even though he's nowhere near having the money to buy these three gu. His grandfather is willing to pay for them gladly to further his grandson's development.

Typically, gu masters at his level wouldn't be able to refine and maintain so many gu, but he's different, as he has the support of his grandfather, who, while not directly aiding him in refining and cultivation, is more than willing to provide ample resources to further his development.

Another important part is a characteristic of the blood path being one of the easiest paths to feed gu, with most blood path gu only needing blood as food, which is neither expensive nor difficult to obtain.

Although some people started spreading bad rumors about the Chen family's servants constantly bringing blood from animals for their young master, but after a bit of clarification from his grandfather, it didn't lead to anything. In concept, it's using the blood from his body to increase his speed of movement and reflexes, and it's even better than the Rabbit Rush, but it has the disadvantage of having to use primeval essence, although it's not much compared to its strong effect.

For example, Chen Wei speculates that if a rank 1 gu master with a deep cut on their hand were to suffer the attack of this gu, they would take at most an hour to die from bleeding even using healing methods.
