In forest, survival of fittest is practiced all the time. But survival is not based on ferocious attacks, speed or even tight defence. The most important aspect of survival is 'timing', one has to be a keen observer of things and one's own surrounding. To attack or not to attack, to defend or not to defend, timing is the essential aspect of everything and it comes with experience, battles after battles, life and death situations. These are the things that creates patience and develop the mindset to search for that perfect moment to kill the in one shot. But the biggest mistake Li Hun made was thinking that Xun Shung's whole group was just a normal gu master's gang. Due to being enslaved by Xun Shung, there's an 'intimate' connection between Xun Shung and his slaves, which helped Xun Shung in sensing them from 10 meters apart.
Next due to his complete set of preparations, he gave all the slaves a particular type of gu set and one of them was metal type gu worms user.
Earlier when Li Hun was preparing for his attacks for the first time, Xun Shung sensed that the first prey wasn't usable to his plans for killing Li Hun so he intentionally came near him to not let Li Hun kill that slave. But in the second run, Li Hun came across the slave who uses metal type gu worms and that's when Xun Shung knew that the 'perfect timing' is here, Xun Shung then changed his direction to let Li Hun be fully confident about this shot.
Due to Hope gu's effect Li Hun wasn't able to notice anything out of order. Xun Shung was not very far from the slave, so he easily gave him order to use the rank 2 liquid grace gu. This gu changes a gu master's whole body into liquid metal and with this Li Hun's hand was trapped in hot liquid metal.
As Xun Shung was able to sense Li Hun already, he charged towards him and dealt the final blow to Li Hun, whose mind was a mess due to Hope gu and his hand being inside liquid metal.
Seeing this Xun Shung landed to the ground, his smile was full of mockery "oh poor Li Hun, don't you know what's the most scariest things in this entire world, no worries I will tell your soul about this, it's 'HOPE'."
