Special person

Even if it was a girl, one would think that a person with such high skills to look rough and burly but the girl in front of him looked so beautiful and her skin shone under the little light that shone from the full moon.

He felt that the skin would be very soft to touch and he really wanted to feel the softness by himself instead of just being a spectator of it. Hence he raised his hand to touch her face which revealed his jade like hand and its long fingers along with the valuable rings that were placed on them under the moonlight.

Even while fighting for so long, the follower tried his all to stay in the shadows making it unable to see his face nor his features but now that he forgot about that with the power of the beauty in front of him, he unknowingly revealed his hand to the assassin.

As soon as she saw that a hand was about to touch her face, the invader raised her hand to cover her face with her sleeve and glared at the follower. Her beautiful, round and big eyes were rigid and harsh contradicting her soft skin that he saw earlier.

But the contrast between them gave an additional beauty and charm that would behold the eyes of an observer. While her beautiful face attracts, her cold eyes keep them at bay.

While still covering her face using her sleeve, she took a few steps back while holding her sword in the front with her utmost guard. The follower was suddenly amused by her reaction as he chuckled and took his raised hand back.

As he took his hand, he suddenly felt that he saw that face somewhere before and went into a deep contemplation, then suddenly he blurted out loud, "Lady Jiang?"

On the other hand, Lady Jiang was thinking about the ring that she just observed on the finger of the man that followed after her. She knew one of those rings. It was an imperial ring. A ring that all the royal family members dons.

Until now she thought that he might be a high skilled guard that followed behind her but never had she thought that a royal family member followed behind an assassin like her instead of commanding others to do the job.

While she was thinking about his identity, the supposed Prince suddenly called out her name making her freeze in her spot. How did he find out her identity? He just took a single glance at her face before she immediately covered it back. How could he know that it was her in just a single glimpse?

Who among all the Princes has such a good memory? She couldn't find anyone. Every single prince had his own talents but good memory was not a talent for anyone. At least to her knowledge, that was the case.

If it was a guard that recognized her identity, then she would have already killed him to bury her identity for ever. But since it was a Prince and that too a Prince that had more strength than her, she wouldn't dare to do anything.

She does not want to draw anymore unnecessary attention from the Emperor. She just wanted to frighten him for sometime by attacking him today. For a few days, he wouldn't be able sleep peacefully anymore and she attained her primary goal.

But it would be changed if she were to kill a Prince. The Emperor would go into a rage instead of being scared. A normal person in rage is definitely more dangerous than a strong person who is terrified.

She hence needs to divert the Prince's attention from herself. She changed her tone and looked incredulously at him, "Who are you talking about?"

The Prince once again chuckled, "Yeah, you are not her. There is no way that she is as strong as you. Anyway I had fun having a friendly spar with you. I think we should leave now before anyone else comes this way."

Though he had recognized her, he just went along with her words that she could not be Lady Jiang. As far as he knows, Lady Jiang is a very soft and innocent person who was very well loved by everyone with her sweet nature. He couldn't understand how such a charming girl had turned into such a strong assassin who would try to assassinate the Emperor.

The Lady Jiang that was in front of everyone is very different from the one who is in front of him at this moment. Though she was very beautiful, he never laid his eyes on her as he never was attracted to her, who is nothing but normal except for her exceptional beauty.

He wouldn't like someone just because a girl was beautiful. If a beauty was gone, we could get another. But if a special person is gone, no one could replace them. He was in search of a special person, not just a beautiful girl.

But the girl in front of him is different. She not only is beautiful but also special. Hence he spoke to her as if nothing had happened until now and they were nothing but a pair of good friends who just had a spar for 'fun' which dumbfounded Lady Jiang.
