Jiang Xiurong was dumbfounded by the enthusiastic glint shown on Wang Deming's face. 'Why is he more excited for shopping than a girl?'

She did not understand but looking at his eagerness, she didn't have the heart to reject him. She thus reluctantly followed him to the next shop where he once again went into a massacre mode as he bought everything on which their eyes laid.

This went on for a few more stores and Jiang Xiurong finally felt more than exhausted. Shopping was never her forte. Though she had so much stamina because of her physical training, somehow shopping can drain her very easily than fighting for a few hours in the training field.

Once more than half of the shopping street was completed, Wang Deming finally noticed that Jiang Xiurong was not as enthusiastic as him anymore.

He looked at her with concern and asked, "Xiurong, what's wrong? Did I bore you in any way? Or did I not buy something that you liked? Oh no. Looks like I am not attentive enough. Tell me what you want and we will go back to buy that." He felt really regretful that he missed buying something his wife had liked and 'as a man, how could he not notice something very important?'

Jiang Xiurong was speechless as her mind was blown away by his words. 'Where? From where does she look like she wants to buy something more?' She really wanted to scream at him to just shut up and turn back to go home and stop with this shopping nonsense.

But once again looking at his concern for her, she did not have the heart to scream at him or to hurt his feelings. He was clearly regretful only because he felt bad that he couldn't buy something for her. How can she shout at him instead of being thankful for his care?

In fact other women would feel really lucky to find a husband like him who would not hesitate to spend his fortune to shop whatever his wife likes. He is really the dream husband that any girl would desire for. He is not just spending his money but also was patient enough to drag her to so many stores and wait for her.

Until now, there was not a single store where he said to leave first. It was always her who told him to leave and he would oblige to all her requests.

He was always patient and waited until she wanted to look around. She can be sure to say that if she wanted to stay in a single store for another hour, he would not complain even for a second and would readily agree and very calmly accompany her for a few extra minutes too.

Looking at Wang Deming who felt very distressed and regretful for 'not observing her clearly', Jiang Xiurong felt warm and smiled even though just a few seconds ago, she wanted to scream at him.

She took his hand and patted it saying, "It is not that. You did not leave anything that I liked. Don't stress yourself."

Wang Deming calmed down a little at her words and looked back at her and asked, "Then why do you seem to be so dispirited? Did I do anything wrong? Xiurong, I know that I do not know you well enough to understand everything just by a single glance. So I am really trying hard to please you. Can you please do me a favor and just inform me directly where I went wrong anywhere? I don't want you to feel burdened to enjoy something that you really do not enjoy. Just one word and I will do as you want.

"Please give me a chance to know more about you and not continue making many mistakes without knowing them myself, alright? All I want you to do is just be yourself and tell me if you don't like anything. Please?"

Jiang Xiurong was very much touched by his words and felt very guilty at her thoughts from earlier. He was trying his best to understand her and on the other hand what was she doing?

She is just complaining about him and even wanted to scream at him instead of sharing her thoughts directly with him. This is the start of their relationship. They should take equal steps in understanding each other and during these steps, it is inevitable to make a few mistakes.

Instead of being scared or being angry with those mistakes, they need to learn from the mistakes and take the next step towards each other.

Wang Deming was doing his role very well in taking his first step while on the other hand, she has done nothing.

She just stood in her place without taking a single step.
