2 Secret Love

Zhi Ruo was shattered into a million pieces,her love had betrayed her.

"After all those years,all those letters,he.. he.."Zhi Ruo couldn't finish her sentence.

She felt his touch,he hugged her from behind,his fingers stroking her thighs.

Affecting her.

"Good morning"he said taking in her scent,nibbling on her neck.

She let her tears rain down,a drop fell on Huang Zi Tao's finger.

He changed his position,and faced her, holding her shoulders,looking into her eyes.

"Zhi Ruo what is wrong?"he asked,she shivered,she just gave her dignity to a man,a man who belonged to another!

"Huang Zi Tao...how could you?...you betrayed me"she said her shoulders jerking up and down,more tears flowing freely.

"Am sorry...I should have not taken you,but.."he cupped her face and looked at her.

"I needed you"he said,and just that made her realise she was just a concubine,a night stand.

"How could you,I let you into my heart,let you touch me...and you break my heart"she said,in cold silent whispers.

She got out of bed and walked up to the mirror,she sobbed bitterly.

Not only was he engaged,but he was engaged to Ru Shi,her enemy.

Huang Zi Tao followed ,he held unto her,but she jerked his hand away.

"Don't touch me"she said.

"What's wrong? Don't keep me guessing"he begged.

"You took....took me,and you're engaged to Ru Shi!"she yelled at his face,and buried her face in her hands.

He hesitated,then held unto her,she fought him off,but his grip was strong.

"Am sorry Zhi Ruo...but..."she escaped his grip and scrambled around for her clothes.

She looked at the bed,there was a red stain,he stared immensely at it too then shot her a sorry stare.

"Don't ever come near me again.. don't talk to me,I hate you"she said,still crying uncontrollably.

She entered the bathroom and shut the door.

"Zhi Ruo,please open the door!"he said,knocking.

"I don't want to see you when I come out"she shrieked,she fell on the floor,and continued her crying.

He stopped knocking,and fell on the door,both with their heads in between their knees and hands.

"Miss you have a visitor"A maid said.

Zhi Ruo had locked herself indoors for three days,she barely ate anything,she was sore,she re-read all the letters over and over,they were all nothing but lies,lies to get her in bed with him.

"Hi Zhi Ruo"a high pitched bird chirped at her,Ru Shi.

She was so distracted she didn't hear her come in.

Zhi Ruo turned and faced her,her lips sealed.

"My wedding is next month,and you haven't even come congratulate me"Ru Shi said.

"Am sure I personally sent you an invite"Ru Shi said, gloating.

Zhi Ruo knew that Ru Shi's only agenda was to humiliate her.

"Zhi Ruo,aren't you going to say anything,Zi Tao and I are having a hard time picking out a spot for our honeymoon,I think you could help"she said with a wicked grin.

"Because you love to study the world,so much,you tell me what do you..."Zhi Ruo wiped a tear from her eye.

"Zhi Ruo, what's wrong? Why the tears?"she asked, in a mocking tone.

"You will come for me and Zi Tao's wedding?"she asked,about to leave,her hand on the door hinge.

"Yes"Zhi Ruo said,it would bring shame if her secret was exposed.

"I forgot to ask where were you on your birthday?,I couldn't find you!"she asked, folding both arms.

"I was here...all night"she said,not facing Ru Shi,the door was slammed immediately, startling her.

"Huang Zi Tao! You've destroyed me"she said.

She finally managed to get some sleep,her eyes were puffy and swollen out from all the crying.

She had nightmares of her father finding out about what happened,and his disappointed face made her shudder.

"No!"She yelled,in her sleep,she woke up,the third one this week.

Huang Zi Tao and Ru Shi were getting engaged tomorrow,and she didn't have the courage to leave her room.

She heard something hit her window,she went towards it,and opened her window.

It was Huang Zi Tao.

She turned away, forgetting to lock the window,"how dare he?"she thought.

She then remembered to lock her window,she turned around to do just that. But saw that Huang Zi Tao had climbed into her bedroom.

"Get out"she said.

"Am sorry for not telling you...."Zi Tao was saying,but Zhi Ruo cut him off.

"I told you to get out,go now or I'll scream"she said,he ran his fingers through his hair,in agitation.

"Go"she said and turned around,hoping he would go back the same way he came in.

When she turned back around,she met a kiss from Huang Zi Tao.

She missed his taste....

"No!"she said and pushed him away.

He stood at a corner of her room,she sobbed again,she was hopelessly in love with him.

"Why do you do this to me?"he asked.

"You betrayed me"she said almost yelling.

"I didn't betray you"Huang Zi Tao said.

"You're engaged to Ru Shi"she said,in her defence.

He wouldn't fool her once again.

"Yes,but it's you I love"he said.

"I cannot be your leftover"she said,he walked to her,and closed the gap between them.

"You, Zhi Ruo,are my love,I can't live without you"he said,they were both sharing the same breath.

"To.. Tomorrow is your engagement"she said in her defence,his breath was weakening her.

He looked away,she brought his face back,she needed answers.

"I will not marry who I do not love"he said,"you don't love Ru Shi?"she asked, hoping he would say yes.

"I don't, it's my father's wish"he said bitterness radiating all over his face.

She then understood, her Huang Zi Tao,would never go against his father,he respected him too much.

Just like when his father made him go to boarding school at a very young age.

She should have known, he wasn't in love with Ru Shi.

"Zhi Ruo, you have always been my desire,and everyday without you is like hell.I meant it when I told you I loved you that night"he said rather softly whispering into her ears.

"You and I can never be together,as you have a new life with Ru Shi,and you cannot disobey your father"Zhi Ruo said.

"Don't you understand,if am not with you am undeniably unhappy,I..I..just can't,but I can't disobey my father!"he confessed,pouring his heart out to her.

He sobbed on her shoulder.

Zhi Ruo had always seen Huang Zi Tao smile and kid around,it was a few days ago that she felt his passion.

But now,here they were,in tears,in her bedroom,a night to his engagement.

How did they get here?

She held him,and let him sob,her heart ached for him,they both felt the same pain,they were trapped.

"Zi Tao...."she said.

He looked at her,she bit her lip and kissed him,he kissed her back,she broke it off and said in-between moans.

"Take me"she said,he stopped,and searched her eyes for permission,before he proceeded.

"You're mine"he said,and grabbed her,she freed herself and quickly rushed to lock her bedroom door.

He had already taken his shirt off.

"Come to me"he said,she ran into his arms,she missed him.

"I love you"she confessed in his ear.

He planted soft kisses on her neck and said some inaudible things to her. Which made her cheeks flush red..

Zhi Ruo woke up to meet no one beside her.

"Huang Zi Tao"she said, she feared he had deserted her.

A hand tapped her shoulder,and she knew it was her lover.

"You're engagement is today"she said, he kissed her.

"I don't care"he said.

"But I do"she said,it was dishonourable for the groom to be late.

He shrugged.

"You know I love you right?"he asked getting dressed.

"You have to go"she reminded him,maids would soon flutter into her room,to get her ready.

He made his way to her window,it was still dark,no one would notice him leave,except the security he had already paid off.

"Zhi Ruo,I will try and fight for you"he said,she smiled at him. He climbed out. But suddenly popped back up.

"Zhi Ruo"he called.

She looked at him,awaiting the next important thing he had to say.

"This makes us secret lovers,you know"he said slyly.

She blushed and threw her shoe at him.

They both shared a laugh,little did Zhi Ruo know what this new affair had in store for her.
