6 Weapons?? Not really

Spotting a larger tree nearby she dug through the foliage in search of the necessary materials to make the weapon.

She would look under the bushes and trees in search of the items. Nova cut a few vines to use as well.

By the end of her scavenging, she had accumulated a hearty amount of useful things. Nova had found a perfect stone for a makeshift spear on the river bed, a nice branch below the large tree, some sturdy vines, and many other small rocks with sharp edges.

Remembering what her father had shown her numerous times, under the burning sun in the woods, she used a sharp rock to sharpen the end of the large stick.

The stick was mostly straight and a few inches taller than herself so it was a bit time consuming to carve.

Nova used the rock to shave off any knots or side branches off. Next, she used the rock to cut a shelf into the stick.

She fit the larger, sharper rock she found into the shelf. Grabbing the vine, Nova wrapped the rock at the bottom into the stick.

Eventually after a few hours of building Nova managed to create a really crappy spear about an inch taller than her.

'Great here comes the fun part'

Nova copied the stance she saw hunters in while chasing prey. Crouched, she advanced toward the river.

'Fish or a smaller animal?'

Whatever came first she would hit, is what was decided. Nova sat still in the same area for 20 minutes.

She was unused to the patience required to hunt. Her body was sore and the hours spent making the spear had deepened her hunger.

As luck would have it just as she was about to move, a group of little bunnies came hopping about. They stopped at the river and drank the water. After a few moments, they prepared to move.

Bunnies were near the bottom of the food chain and were at great risk of being hunted. The slowest of the group frantically tried to keep up.

Before the bunny could join its family Nova pounced on the furry creature. She stabbed it near the chest but it continued moving, escaping even more frantically.

The bunny was leaking blood, however, and Nova quickly caught up and finished the deed.
