33 REJECTING OFFERS

"You must be very careful from now on," Mae Jaesun warned me.

The two of us were in the middle of the forest as usual.

It was impressive that I hadn't been caught by one of my roommates yet.

"Now that Miss Hwang has personally called for you, your status at this sect has become extremely complicated. On one hand, I can't help but praise you because everyone's attention has been grabbed. On the other hand... I can't help but worry. Some people will have evil attentions and they'll use you if it means they can influence Miss Hwang," Mae Jaesun explained.

It didn't take long for his warning to come to fruition.

The next day, I was planning on sleeping in since I didn't have to attend morning training.

But someone knocked on the door and when I opened it, it was a guard.

"...Hello?"

"Master wants to see you," said the guard.

"Am I supposed to know who that is?" I asked.

The guard's eyebrow twitched as if offended.

"Can't you tell by my uniform?" he asked.

I shook my head. He was in this black armor that was detailed with red trimmings and a lion in the middle of the chestplate.

"And I thought you were smart," he scoffed. "Master Jaehui is the one calling you."

'Who's that?' I thought.

"Ahh. Him," I said, smacking my fist down on my palm as if I knew who this person was.

.

.

.

"You're bound to become an inner disciple in a few years," said Master Jaehui, stroking his chin beard that was too long to be considered cool. "How would you like to become one of my disciples once you do?"

The way he asked the question was as if he was offering me the greatest deal of my life and I was expected to drop down on my knees and kiss his feet in gratitude.

"I'm grateful for the offer Master Jaehui..."

He smiled as if my response was what he expected.

"...but I'll have to decline," I finished.

The smile on his face twitched.

He looked at his senior disciple who was standing beside him and asked, "Did I mishear that? I heard this boy in front of me decline my offer. Surely I misheard."

The disciple shook his head. "I'm afraid not, master. You heard correctly."

He pulled his sword out from the sheath on his waist and asked, "Should I kill this boy?"

Master Jaehui extended his arm out to stop his disciple from making a foolish decision that would get the two of them in major trouble.

"I think you've misspoken," said Master Jaehui with less hospitality in his voice than before.

I shook my head.

"I'm a hundred percent sure I spoke correctly," I said. "Master Jaehui, I will have to decline your offer."

I could Master Jaehui's teeth grinding. The top of his lip twitched and murderous intent started to leak out.

"Why?" he asked.

I wasn't obligated to answer him but there was no harm in just responding.

"I have more offers to consider," I responded. "A lot of people want me and I think it's in my best interest to take my time and wait for the best option to be available first before making my decision."

Master Jaehui was actually the first master to call upon me but my words were implying that he wasn't.

"Why is my offer not the best?" he asked. "You get to be my disciple. An honor that no outer disciples have ever had before. I haven't even accepted a disciple in over ten years despite how many people want me as their master."

He wasn't lying. All masters in the sect were in similar shoes as him.

Their teachings were coveted highly and anyone who had the opportunity to become a disciple would rise in rank and their growth would skyrocket.

"Pills, potions, and promises that I'm not allowed to share," I answered. I was referring to Master Jaesun so I wasn't lying.

"I can give you those too," he said.

"Can you give me ginseng every other week?" I asked.

Master Jaesui stared at me, analyzed my face, and then shook his head.

"What blasphemy. No master is foolish enough to offer you ginseng. Lies!" yelled the senior disciple who pulled his sword out again.

Master Jaesui stood up and smacked him in the back of his head.

"Master?" he muttered.

"Stop acting so impulsively. If I didn't tell you to do anything, there's no need to do it. Just stand there and keep that mouth of yours shut," said Master Jaesui.

It was clear that their dynamic was stressful — in that the disciple continues to make the master stress with all his impetuous choices.

After declining his offer one more time, Master Jaesui excused me and I was allowed to leave.

It was clear that Master Jaesui felt like it would be an overpay to provide me with ginseng just because I was smart and had connections to the granddaughter of the sect leader.

Yes, I was the first person that the granddaughter interacted with outside of her small circle.

But to him, I was just a teacher. I wasn't even a friend.

He weighed his pros and cons and the cons outweighed the pros.

Quite frankly, that was understandable. He never saw me demonstrate my martial arts before which is thousands of years more advanced than what this world has at the moment.

  .

.

.

"I can give you this sword if you become my disciple."

I shook my head.

I already had a sword in mind that I was going to use. AKA, I was going to steal a powerful sword that was meant to be used by the female lead, Yeon Hwang's senior disciple in the future.

.

.

.

"I can give you my daughter's hand in marriage."

"Can I see a portrait of her?" I asked, a little tempted.

He showed me a portrait painting of his daughter and a rule about painting is that it's always better than reality.

So if his daughter is even uglier than what I was looking at in the portrait then I could only imagine how ugly she was in reality.

"I'll have to decline your offer," I said.

"Are you... are you calling my daughter ugly?"

"...No. She's just not my type. I'm sure another guy would die to be in my shoes," I lied.

.

.

.

Throughout the next month, a lot of masters and people in high positions were giving me offers to become one of their people.

It started off slow because it was just a one-time meeting with Yeon Hwang so a lot of them were hesitant to chase after something useless.

But as Yeon Hwang and I met up more and more for tutoring classes, even meeting up outside her home (at a restaurant and whatnot), they began to realize that our relationship was more than just teacher-student.

Some of them were nice. Some were mean. Some viewed themselves as above me and looked down on me as if I were an ant being offered the chance to be human.

I obviously declined all of the offers because Master Jaesun was still the best out of them all and he was providing me with more resources than all of them combined.

It wasn't that he was the richest or anything. He just cared more about me than the rest.

They just wanted me for the connection to someone who was destined to be the next sect leader.

Master Jaesun wanted me for his dreams to revolutionize the Mount Hua Sect.

"Another one?" asked Kim Taeyang, returning from his classes.

"Yes."

"Declined?"

"Obviously."

He got undressed and began walking around in nothing but his drawers.

That's how close the boys in this room had gotten with each other to the point that we no longer cared about trivial matters such as seeing another person's private parts.

"What are you getting dressed for?" I asked as I watched Kim Taeyang put on his best clothes.

"I have a date," he responded.

"With who?" asked another boy who entered the room.

"With Chwa Miso. Do you know her?" asked Kim Taeyang.

I quietly gulped.

"No," said the other boy.

"No," I responded.

I lied. I did know her. Not only did I know her, I fucked her before.

Do you remember after the first time being called out for sex, she introduced me to two of her friends? One of them was 22 and the other was 16.

Well, Chwa Miso was the one who was 16.

"Good luck on the date," I told Kim Taeyang and he thanked me before leaving.

He would need the luck because if it does turn into anything, he'd have to live up to her memories of me — or more specifically, my penis.

One thing I remembered about her was that she was a freak and I was able to put her into positions that required very flexible limbs and joints.

He came back 3.5 hours later which was half an hour before our afternoon training session started.

"How did it go?" asked one of the boys who was in the room studying his textbook in preparation for the quiz he had the next day.

"It went wonderful," said Kim Taeyang, letting out a sigh of pure joy

"Does that mean you're dating now?" I asked.

He nodded his head and I placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Congratulations my friend. You found love," I said.

"Thank you."

'No. Thank you. You not only brought one of my favorite eaters into our circle but you just made future sex with her even better.'

As I told you before, I like fucking girls who already have a man because the feeling of immorality is a feeling of bliss to me.

.

.

.

"We can't," said Chwa Miso as our lips separated.

"Why not?" I asked with my finger deep inside her hole.

"Because... ahn, I have a boyfriend now. Uhn. Your close friend Kim Taeyang. Mmm. Ahn. I-I'm dating him."

"So you're telling me that you don't want to have an orgasm ever again?" I asked.

"He can give it to me. I know he can."

"Really? Okay. Let's wait and see then."

Two days later, she came over to me and took me to her room where I spent the remaining free time we had before afternoon training classes just absolutely demolishing her pussy.

She climaxed ten times in that span and killed more kids with her mouth than pneumonia could in the span of 10,000 years.

What?

Did I go too far with the metaphor?

My bad. Sorry — for the inconvenience of me not giving a FUCK!
