TIME
Unlike Earth, Caelum's day is longer. Instead of having 24 hours, they have about 32 hours before the day ends.
Jal: A term to distinguish time, about 4 hours.
In Caelum, people calculate the cycle of day by Jal. Instead of splitting the day into hours, they split it into 8 Jals. In each Jal, there are another 16 Kil which equals to 5 Vat each.
Kil: Each Kil is about 15 minutes.
There are 16 Kils in a Jal, and 128 Kils in a day.
Vat: 1 vat equals 3 minutes.
There are 5 Vats in every Kil, and 80 in every Jal. Each day would contain 640 Vats.
Hyt: 1 hyt equals 0.06 of a minute.
There are 30 Hytes in a Vat.
