31 Juno Visits Lizzie

"It's a bit sad, isn't it?" Becky said as she wiped a tear. "Have you guys seen their music video of that song?"

"Oh, I haven't. Let us see, let us see." Suzy said as she scooted closer to Becky.

"Ah wait for a while, let me find the vid in my phone. I think I saved it in my youtube playlist." Becky said as she whipped her phone from a small pink purse.

"ENCORE!"

The crowd had started to cheer and clap at the boys' performance. Many of the shouts had come from girl fans of the band.

"Wooohh!! More songs please, Zeke!"

"I love you, Sebastian Michaelis Davis!"

"Nico and Levi! Please notice me!"

"Kyaaaa!!!"

"Encore! Moooooore!!!"

Zeke's smile beamed at their audience and I could tell he was itching to perform another song. He looked at Bash who had stood still to his right. He was being cool and all, no emotions or any fan service.

Nico waved at the crowd and blew kisses at the girls who swooned at him. Many had reached out to the stage, and he shook their hands as he crouched down.

One lady even fainted as he planted a swift peck on her outstretched hand.

Levi hadn't quite stopped beating his drums. It was like he was waiting for the others to say if they would continue playing. He just continued to play random background beats.

"What do you say guys? Shall we indulge the crowd with another song?" Zeke asked the boys and Levi and Nico nodded in agreement.

He turned to Bash and even with his face having a slight grumpiness in it, Bash positioned his guitar and prepared for the next song.

Perhaps it was really true he can't say no to women's request.

"Alright then! Levi beat it!" Zeke pointed to the redhead and immediately the big guy knew what song to play.

"Oh look here it is! Ahh, we can't hear much of the song but the music video is totally tear-jerking I promise you that." Becky and Suzy stared at the screen of her phone. The light it emitted created shadows on their beautiful faces.

Suzy's eyes whipped to look at me as I hadn't budged where I was seated in the middle of the sofa.

"C'mon Lizzie girl, take a look at them too!" she said.

Becky noticed and she tapped at her screen to scoot right next to me where Nico had sat. Suzy followed and squeezed beside her too and now Becky was the one in the middle.

Becky pressed the play button again and the three of us stared at the rectangular screen of her phone. The 21st century's technology really blow my mind off.

Back in 1600s we didn't even have anything as bright as lamps and torches.

The video started off as Bash strumming his guitar in a patch of green grass. The camera slowly backed away to reveal the whole terrain and I saw the similarly looking hills of Shalem.

The video transitioned and the scene switched then to a couple's hands intertwined.

The face of the girl was beautiful - young, naive, and innocent - a pinkish blush painted her cheeks as she smiled at her lover. Her white bonnet replaced by a crown of yellow flowers.

Suddenly, my chest felt constricted and my heart began to burn with pangs of melancholia.

"Hooo~ that music video sure looks familiar, doesn't it sweet love?"

I swerved my head to see that Juno's face was at the back, her head propped on top of the sofa's backrest. She waved a flimsy hand at me like she was all friendly and jumped to sit beside me.

This deity is a whole lot of problem to understand.

"Hi dearie, I came to see how you are doing after you met the blind seer." She spoke. My eyes might have exposed my shock with her sudden appearance and she giggled.

She had worn a bodycon outfit now and her long, dark navy-blue hair was braided into a fishtail. Her eyelids had glitters and she had a pair of tiny white dahlias for earrings.

Her legs wore some dark stockings and a knee-high leather boots with killer heels. Juno crossed her legs and leaned in to whisper in my ear.

"Sweet girl, you are making me blush with your stares. Don't worry, only you can hear and see me, you don't need to talk."

She leaned in closer to look at the screen and my eyes absentmindedly followed. The scene had changed now with Zeke reaching his hands out to something in the distance.

The man who held hands with the girl in the first scene was now focused, he was crying and tearing at his hair in agony.

"Do you think William did the same? When he learned you were to be punished with death?" I heard Juno ask.

Was that a real question or just a lame joke?

My blood boiled at her question and my nails dug into the sofa.

"Girls, I will have to go to the restroom." I told Becky and Suzy and went on my way to find where the restroom was.

I stormed off and left the two girls who attempted to accompany me. Shrugged them off and told them I could manage on my own now.

If anyone would harass me now, I wouldn't even hesitate anymore to kick the living daylights out of his crotch.

I wasn't in any mood after Juno's question.

My heart ached and I clutched at my chest. I searched for the restroom signage and at the other corner of the club, there it was right beside a huge statue of a naked lady.

I made my way through the crowd and went inside the women's restroom with top speed. Surprisingly, there weren't many who were using it and by the time the last girl went out, I immediately locked the door and slid down the tiled floor.

I heard shuffling beside me and I turned to see Juno had crouched to look at me with her milky white eyes. Paired with a coy smile, her face looked really eerie.

"What do you want now? Your appearances torment me more than when I had burned. You are full of secrets you could have just told me." I groaned.

"Sweetie you are exaggerating. I came to tell you that I will be watching over your progress with the mission you are given." She reached out for my hand and squeezed it.

How can she touch me now? She used to have been something of a ghost that passes through almost anything.

"Your magic is more than just electric shocks dearie. Anything you put your mind into, you can make it happen to a certain level. Try concentrating on that faucet, open it without moving an inch."
