50 The morning after...

I left my room early in the morning and stayed at my brother's cabin. I instructed Amelie to politely ask Karl to leave as soon as he wake up.

I stayed with Alexei until midday until the Captain told us that we will stop at the nearest port the very next day.

I went back inside my cabin and I saw Amelie peeking at the door.

Me: What's the matter? Why are you hiding?

Amelie: Im glad you're here my lady... That guy Karl was a handful. He refused to leave for several hours and he was insisting to wait for you until you return. I think he is looking for you outside now.

Me: Listen to me, we don't have time for such thing now. We will land at the port tomorrow at the earliest time possible so I want you to pack all our belongings and inform the guards as well.

While in the middle of our conversation, a knock on the door was heard.

" He's back... It's Karl!" Amelie said.

" Then let him knock until all day long and we will not open the door." I said while I started to pack my clothes.
