33 Nina must die..

At that moment, I only knew one thing.. Nina must die.. I must kill her..

Me: How come they said that Anastasia survived?

Nina: When the soldiers retrieved the Imperial family's graves, one girl was missing.. they assumed it was your youngest sister because of her blonde hair.. All the bodies that were recovered had dark hair..

Me: But they burned the bodies.. it would be hard to determine the hair color especially when buried in mud because of the rain..

Nina: I already saw you several days ago.. I was in the second class deck.. But I thought it was impossible because they said that you were already dead so I dismissed it.. But then I saw the Tsarevich Alexei with you when you were having breakfast.. So I knew that the Romanovs are here in this ship.. Everyone thought the Tsarevich didn't survived.. but he did.. the one and only heir to the throne is alive!

Me: But why are you on this ship?

Nina: After my father was murdered, my mother and sister went into exile. We went to Paris but mama fell into a deep depression so we put her in an asylum. My sister ran off with a guy and stole all the money and jewellery that was given to us by your mother, the Tsarina. I was left all by myself and penniless.. As I was wandering in the streets of Paris, I saw this circus.. I told them who I am and they immediately asked me to be one of their main attractions.. From then on I was known as Rasputin's daughter.. We toured France then Germany. We are on our way to London.

Me: Ohh.. so you are with your people from the circus? Where are they now?

Nina: At the second class accomodations just below this deck. I bribed the guards and gave them silver so they would allow me go up in here.. I was here yesterday but I didn't see you.. so I tried again and here we are.. Your Imperial Highness..

Me: How is our dear Russia?

Nina: Chaos.. there is a civil war.. Lenin is pure evil.. He abolished all religions, traditions, cultures. He is an atheist.. A godless creature who spreads terror wherever he goes.

Me: That's terrible.. so does anyone from the circus know that you saw me and Alexei?

Nina: Of course not.. They wouldn't believe me. I could hardly believe it myself..

I excused myself and pretended that I needed to go to the restroom. I looked for the rat poison.. I asked my servant Amelie to prepare some tea and I poured the deadly liquid on it and on the sponge cake..

After several minutes, I returned and invited Nina to share some tea with me while we discussed other things..

Amelie served the foods and drinks.. Nina sipped the tea but she refused to eat the cake..

Nina: So what are your plans now?

Me: I will go to England and look for my grandmother..

Nina: Ahh.. the former Dowager Empress Dagmar.. the sister of the English King's mother Queen Alexandra. How ironic it is that one sister is still a Queen of a vast kingdom while the other sister lost her son, her crown and the Empire that once belonged to her..

Me: And how ironic it is that you will be joining your father soon?

I watched her as she started to breathe heavily.. She started to sweat and she lost her balance..

" I don't feel well.. what's going on? " She asked while catching her breath..

" Forgive me but it has to end like this.. You know too much.. My siblings and I were punished because of who our father was.. And it will be the same for you.. daughter of Rasputin." I said while I watched her die in front of me..

I killed Nina.. the second person I killed with my own hands..
