"Huh?.... WHAT!"

"HAHAHAHAHA!," Freima laughed, as she continued, "Did you seriously think that sword absorbed your magic... *laughing* Seriously, how foolish can you be.... That sword ejects your mana from your body into the atmosphere instead of storing it."

"Tch! only if I had some more mana.. ," Keigo stuttered.

Keigo is being lowered down even though he is struggling to break that chain with the sword.

Ray felt useless, unable to do anything.

"Leave me"

"Huh? What are you talking about?"

"This is a dead-end. Any more and you also might get involved."

"I don't care until..... I won't let you die as long as I am alive, "Keigo reassured with a smile even in the tense situation. Tears rolled down Ray's cheek as he muttered, "Why...?"

They got lowered close enough to be within the grasp of Chain Hero's hand. Freima and Grozo eagerly rubbed their hands with sadistic grins on their faces.

(--JADE SPEAR--) Urg spelled.

(SFX- BAM) Chain hero got pierced in his hand by the spell Urg used.

(SFX- WHACK) Sudden release of the chain made Keigo along with Ray crash into a nearby tree."

With all the energy Urg can muster, he shouted, "RUN !!" as both Envy and Mist Hero struggled to pin him down.

Recovering his footing, Keigo once again held Ray in his arms and shot into the forest without a second thought. Ray still could not move.

"Capture them, "Grozo Commanded.

[At this rate, they will catch us in no time.... *panting* I have to find a place to recover soon.]*Keigo

All Heroes chased them as Keigo cleverly evaded their sight and sheltered behind a stone surrounded by bushes and shrubs.

(SFX- PANT PANT)

Ray noticed Keigo's heavy breathing. As he scanned his bruised body, he noticed a branch buried deep into Keigo's thigh.

"Keigo!"

"Don't shout you, Idiot"

"Wait! don't move," Ray commanded as he stuffed Keigo's mouth with leftover rags from his body. He drew out the branch as Keigo tried his best not to let his voice loud and bandaged it using the rag he used to gag Keigo's mouth.

(SFX--pant pant ) Both huffing.

"I need to learn HEAL once everything settles down." , Keigo whispered. He was trying his best to forget his pain.

"I want to drink together with you and Urg until we pass out like on the days we receive our salary *chuckle* "

"HaHaHa! Urg right! he really is close to you."

"Talking about Urg, why did you say Envy Hero won't kill him"

"Oh! That's right, last night when we entered the palace...(--SHIELD lv 2--)!!!!, "Keigo yelled as he pulled Ray into his lap.

(SFX--BOOM) Smoke spread around.

"Where did they vanish," Healer Hero asked Land Hero who attacked them out of the blue.

"I forgot about Keigo's reflexes, I was sure his leg got injured when he crashed into the tree" ,Land hero said as they anxiously searched for them.

Keigo and Ray were still on the run. This time Ray could run on his own. A Freima noticed them as they passed the crest of the waterfall.

"There they are...Everyone they are crossing the river, catch or kill them at any cost.," she commanded.

"Oh No! They saw us... Fast hold me," Keigo stretched his hand forward as Ray clutched it.

(--FLOAT--) He spelled as he exited the forest and leaped on the riverbank to cross the river.

(--STORM BLADE--) , Gale Hero spelled...(SHIELD lv 2) Ray used.

The shield broke, and It knocked out both Keigo and Ray, who were flying mid-air. They fell in the river as it washed them towards the crest of the waterfall.

[Once we fall from the waterfall, we can successfully persuade them...Not a bad idea....] *Keigo

Neither of them tried to swim towards the shore, it implies both of them thought of the same thing. Keigo held Ray's hand as they fell from the top of the waterfall. Mid-way of the waterfall both stared at each other's face with a smiling face which clearly showed their success.

(--ENHANCE ATTACK--) Healer Hero spelled.

(--JET RAY--) Envy hero spelled.

An attack came vertically downwards towards Ray and Keigo. Their smiling faces didn't even last a moment.

[It's a buffed attack spell, and my shield even combined with Keigo's shield can't withstand the attack. So the only thing I can do is save Keigo by taking the attack myself.]*Ray.

Ray held Keigo's hand to pull him beneath him but before he realised what happened Keigo already left Ray's hand after pulling him beneath him (i.e. Now Keigo shielded Ray from the attack.)

(--SHIELD Lv 3--) Keigo spelled.

(SFX---SNIP)

Keigo's body split into two parts horizontally from the waist.(i.e. upper body and lower body).

It was too late for Ray to do anything. His tears struck Keigo's smiling face.

(--VANISH--)Keigo spelled.... to make Ray invisible.

"I told you.... I won't let you die before me.... LIVE," Keigo muttered still with a wide smile on his face as he held Ray's hand and threw him into the forest.

Keigo fell and got washed away by the waterfall, turning its base red.....
