23 Rank Evaluation - Part 3

After Jay placed his hand on the crystal, a purple light shined inside the chamber and the man got the readings on the outside.

This test which was happening was the most important part. It was to measure the number of Star Seas present in the angel.

Star seas are just an indication of vast number of stars that are present.

It is estimated that a particular star sea can hold only a limited number of stars.

The angels that are present get their powers from the stars and those very stars determine the type of angels they would be.

So more the number of stars, the stronger the angel would be.

Since the number of stars was limited per star Sea, the more number of stars Sea would ensure that the angel is stronger and that would mean that he would be of higher rank.

A Star Sea has another function too. It can determine what the growth of the angel would be and what impact will it have on the other two parameters which were tested before.

These three aspects were tested in the association out of which only the last On was given the utmost attention to.

When a hunter was designated a rank of 2 Star S class then that would mean that he would be having 2-star seas while all other abilities would be comparable to S rank.

Since the star Sea was predetermined, there was almost no way to have another star Sea out of the blue but it seemed as if in the tower of angels, the angels were growing stronger.

It was not only their physical abilities but also internal powers which were increasing, it was also the star seas that were being added.

The reason was unknown but it seemed as if each floor that would be passed after the 10th-floor was giving them some parts that were slowly forming another star Sea.

That was the reason why many people who wanted to grow stronger aimed for the floors and climbed them.

That was the same for other mythical creatures too.

The Vampires, The Lower Gods, and the celestial animals who had all been living in the human society after disguising themselves also aimed to climb the tower.

They had a different way to enter the tower since they couldn't possibly come to the association as they hadn't awakened as angels.

It could be told as a Portal that they had to pass through which would allow them to enter the 0th floor.

Though, they wouldn't be allowed to return as there is no tutorial version for them that is given to humans.

But regardless of those things, humans had to be ranked higher in order to enter the tower as lower-ranked wouldn't even be able to pass the tutorials.

That was why the minimum rank that was required to enter the tower was 2 Star B class.

If any angel met that requirement they would without a doubt be allowed to enter the tower without any restrictions.

That was why Jay had come here in order to take the test and was aiming for at least B rank 2 stars.

But he got to know the results just as he heard about the things that would be tested.

"Uhh... okay, you can remove your hand.", the man asked from the outside which Jay heard from the speakers.

The man then walked and opened the door of the chambers from which Jay immediately walked out.

The Vice leader and the unknown person who was standing and watching everything happen and were excited to see his rank suddenly noticed the lost enthusiasm of the test taker.

'What happened to him? Until now he had an enthusiastic expression but all of a sudden his expression changed... did the result come badly?', the Vice leader thought.

The other unknown man also thought the same.

'But, if his other capabilities are that high then he must be at least 2 stars...', was what the unknown person thought.

The man then sent the hard copy of the results which got printed out in a while.

By then Jay was asked to sit in another waiting room.

He entered the room only to find some familiar faces.

He could clearly see many of them praying for good results. At the same time, he could see some of them who were filled with overconfidence.

'Uhh... where do I sit?', he asked himself in his mind as he couldn't find any available seats in the room.

'Should I stand...?', after thinking this he just went to one of the corners and stood there.

"Pffft, look at him, I'm sure he is of the lowest rank out of all because of which he wasn't even provided any seats", others murmured amongst each other.

Jay didn't mind their ramblings and kept a cool head while waiting for the results.

Soon after 20-25 minutes, one of the authorities came inside which was followed by the Vice leader.

All of them stood up and this time no one was sitting as Jay was also standing from the start.

The Vice leader immediately asked for the result paper as he himself wanted to declare the results.

The official handed it to him and was shocked since this was the first time he had asked for something like this.

"Alright, so the one who is the strongest out of you all and has placed an amazing score in the test is..."

He delayed for a few seconds in order to increase their suspense and then immediately said, "Is Harey Koros! He is evaluated as a 3 star A Rank angel!!!"

All of them were shocked to hear that. It was without a doubt that his power was that of an A Rank and more than that he belonged to the 3 Star category.

'Huh? Wasn't he 3 Star B rank?', that was what Jay had determined after looking at him but for some reason, the announcement said that he was 3 Star A Rank.
