1 Chapter 1 : The Unknown Guest

The breeze of wind swept a couple of leaves surfacing the blue sky in front of my sentimental face while I was lying in the ground enjoying the view of white clouds and the iddylic sky, the gentle wind cajole my eyes to close itself and cause me to feel drowsy. As I was trying to complete my trangquility a small yet stern voice was calling my name.

"nun…!Enun!Enun!wake up",she wake my sleepiness with a loud and rumbling voice looking at me with furrowing brows.

"Whats the matter? Did that old geezer sent you to nag me again?"I rubbed my eyes as I rise from my soon-to-be-sleep while I replied to her wakening. She sighed while closing her eyes with disbelief of my comment but for her it is only normal for me to say such things as she knows that the chief always scold me without particular reason,maybe because I was born from a poor and dirty village unlike from this prevalent city known also as district, well I cant blame him I also hate where I came from.She opened her eyes again,

"Its not like that, we have a big guests tonight, they're from the Alpha district, I don't know the details but its still a super good news to us", she said with an excited tone.

" Oh ok" I replied with a blatant expression

"what!? You're not even surprise or excited? It's the first time in 50 years in the Epsilon district to be visited by a powerful Domans" she said while ranting at my poker face.Yeah, everyone will be surprise and overjoy if a strong Domans visited a weak and pathetic district like ours but on their perspective we are just some kind of hyenas hungry for power to ascend to another rich and powerful district,to them we are just like ants that can easily be eleminated in a second. Well in this world there is no such thing as normal people anymore. One day gates appeared, different and otherworldly monster emerge from the gates and bring havoc in every place they run into,it destroyed many lives and structures but God didn't forsake us, humans also evolve and gain super powers and inhumane strength that only exist in fairytale books, we quickly adapted from this unknown phenomenon for the goal to survive and humans that had awakened powers are called Doman. We eliminated the monsters along with their haven and closed the gates but it doesn't mean they are completely destroyed, every year a gate always appear and monster exit from it as if its existence is to destroy everything that comes to their way, ofcourse we as an evolved human exterminate them to maintain peace and security, this cycle of phenomenon is endless so we train and strengthen our powers in order to protect our world, but there are always some greedy Domans who use their power to control and monopolize the weak, their selfishness and gluttony for power are tantamount to a horde of monsters. Every government in other different states agreed to unify the world, every country merged as one, every nation coerce resulting to the unification of the world, there were no more individual countries as it cannot hold the force of a swarming monsters every year, time passed by the integrated nation was divided into different districts where you'll be appointed based on your Doman power.These districts consist of the Alpha district as the most highest,richest, and influential district, were SS class to SSS class level Domans were being appointed, the Beta District as the second most wealthy and affluent place were S class and A class Domans were living, the Gamma District the third most wealthy and domineering district were B class and C class Domans belong's to, the Delta district were D class and E class are living together, it has the average and prevalent place you can have , and lastly the most pathetic and indigent district, the Epsilon distric were commoners like us live, awakeners with power not even comparable to an average E class Doman is being trashed here, we work only to support and enrich the higher districts while they belittle us like were just some kind of insignificant creatures but there is also another way to climb up to the higher district's, you need to be a slave from a member of the highest district's were they use your body to satisfy their desire for pleasure more like you need to be a slut in exchange of a wealthy and comfortable life. It's disgusting but I cant blame them. We only eat sweet potato and drink dirty water moreover the supply is not even enough for a thousand Epsilon citizens that needed food and water.Its hard to get fresh water because of the remaining monsters outside the district wall. For us rain water is salvation to dissipate our thirst, sometimes we eat meat from an E class monster or those newborn monster we hunt when we go outside the district, it is inevitable to step out beyond the walls for us to be able to eat and death is unavoidable in this new world, were not the only ones whose hungry but also the remaining monsters that the higher district didn't kill, I guess for them it is cumbersome to do such a thing because it doesn't inconvenient them but for us it is a big deal since our life depends on it, such disgusting people not even batting an eye in our misery, the reason why I loathe them I don't even care about their achivements since it doesn't even contribute us.

"Well we still need to go to help the others to prepare a feast" she said while she pat my head and walk away smiling with excitement, I cant help but grin, those greedy Domans can actually be useful at a time like this, we can eat delicious food and drink fresh water from the supplies where the higher up's hide from somewhere, ofcourse they'll do that to leave a good impression from those selfish Domans. After she enter the gate, I get up lying from the ground to follow her, I wipe my drooling mouth thinking about the food I'll eat tonight and run off to climb a wall six foot taller than me, I'm an active person so I took everything in a hard way.Except from entering the gate I climb up the thick white wall,this types of activities help me for my daily exercise. As I was trying to climb down inside the gate, my feet miss a spot from the edge of the wall and loss my balance.

"Whoa.. Shit! Im gonna fall! " I loud thud was heard after I fell from the bushes of white roses. As I was wiping myself from the flowers and leaves that crept in my scruffy clothes I saw a beautiful and majestic man, I was so flabbergasted I cant take my eyes off of him those unexplainable beauty that hold my breath away,his obsidian black hair that covers his black long thick eyebrows made him standout in every place he walks into, those peircing garnet eyes more redder than blood with a vertical ebony pupil akin to a dragon makes the viewer shudder in fear, his perfect nose as if a god meticulously carved it in a thousand of years, a slick lips with a peach color, a smooth and white as snow skin that is comparable to a new fresh made mannequin, and a good physique every man dreamed of .Such being really exist, I cant fathom how god created this magnificient man, a stupendous aura that can overtake every person he approach to. Wait..why is that man walking towards me with that pretty unique expression? But he still look handsome tho.

"Hello? Excuse me…are you alright? Uhm.. Hello? He asked while waving his hands into my dazed expression.

"oh.my.fvcking.god youre dazzlingly beautiful" i said with a low voice with a sparkling eyes of amazement as if I saw a falling star from the interstellar above the sky.

"Excuse me?" he replied with a confusion in his eyes after that dumb comment I've made, it only takes a second after I grasped the situation, I'm talking to a stranger and I panickly replied

"OH! IM SORRY! I didn't mean it..i mean I meant it, but you just..you look.." I was in constant stuttering after he cut my sentence.

"I understand so please stand up and take my hand, the ground is dirty so its better if we talk about this after you've cleaned up" he said with a gentle voice yet unbothered face, at first I was skeptical since I don't know him, I have never seen him in this orphanage, those godly looks is not even suitable in this kind of district, but if he truly lives here there is no doubt he would be the most famous person in the Epsilon District. I will immediately recognize him withouth fail, every part of his body is so perfect , hes figure would be an excellent and ideal sculpture that will be made in the history of earth, wait! Why am I complimenting his body? Why am I full of of thoughts about him? Am I a pervert? Stop it you idiot! Focus on the situation!

Let me help you stand up" he said while holding my hand with a poker face

"Ouch!" I cried in the middle of getting up while I abruptly hold my ankle

"I think I sprained my ankle, just leave me here I can walk on my own, you can just head to where you're going" I told him while I'm laughing out the situation and besides he's a stranger I don't think it'll be a good idea to be talking with him, I want to avoid trouble as long as I can so its better for him to leave.

"I can't leave an injured person and my business can be done anytime" he said with an adamant expression, well I guess he really wants to help me, but why tho?we don't know each other, Agh! Whatever ill just leave if things get troublesome. As I extend my hand to his shoulder he suddenly grabbed me with a position of a bridal carry I was shocked by how he isn't even bothered of what he is doing,

" Sir? You can help me stand with a different type of method" I told him with a blushing countenance while looking away from his handsome face

" And what is that?" he replied with an adamant expression,

"Like holding your arms while I'm standing so I can keep my balance to walk" I replied with a sarcastic tone while hiding my face away from his nice yet sinister red blood eyes,

"Well I can't do that" he said with a deadpan expression,

"Why!?" I asked with a confusing face but he didn't reply to my pleading question, I didn't ask another inquiry so he won't get mad from my curiousity.

"Where are we going by the way? My house is just across this garden" I told him while I pointed the white building, its not actually my house but I live there, I also need to go to help them from the upcoming feast.

"You mean that rickety building, that can collapse anytime?" he said with a sarcastic and obdurate expression, a loud noise was heard coming out the threshold of the building seeing a fat and bald man with a brown suit and red tie, stroding hurriedly to approach us while panting and perspiring

"Good Afternoon General Aleksei Bozhko-Bogatyrev first I would like to offer you my deepest apology for the inconvenience of us without giving you a proper assistance, I admit it is my biggest blunder in the 45 years of service here in this humble district, I humbly beg for whatever compassion you may have left for me and also the citizens in this lowly district please have mercy!" he declare with beseeching and trembling voice, a fearful expression was displayed by the chief face. I saw Ashley trembling in fear while my fellow epsilon people was kneeling ,begging for forgiveness, bowing down to this existence holding me with care as if I am a flower, as I saw the situation I realized that this person is not normal, like what I've heard from the chief this guy is one of the most powerful Doman's living in earth, a Doman that can easily wipe a whole continent without breaking a sweat if he wanted to. The sight I saw hurt my feelings, just because we lost him and theirs no people who attend him like a slave that doesn't give him the right to let us bow down to him like he's some kind of god. Bowing down to a fellow citizen in earth, hes also a human with a monstrous power why do we have to kneel down and ask for forgiveness?my mind was messy with this kind of strong thoughts. I was full of anger, sadness, pity, and fear. This guy can kill me anytime yet I talk to him informally a short time ago, while my mind is full of complicated thoughts I didn't recognize he was staring at me with a hurtful yet pleading crimson eyes

"Are you afraid?are you scared of me?" He asked with a blandishment expression as if hes telling me to say im not scared, that I was comfortable with him, with that thought I realize what I needed to do, I need to please him as if I am satisfying a childs request then a thought struck in my mind I need to avoid this person as quickly as possible

"I'm not scared with you, I'm afraid they'll say something bad about you, and we know rumors spread quickly like a wind, I know I'm being presumptuous but I beg you to forgive our negligence just this once" I replied looking straight into his beautiful crimson eyes. Yes! That was a nice excuse but please don't look at me as if youre scanning my face if Im lying, a tear run down my right eye with my eyes close while im clenching my fist praying for him to believe me.

"You don't need to worry about trivial things, I can just eliminate the earthworm who'll try to start a bad rumor about me" He replied leisurely to my remark as if murdering someone is part of his daily activities. This devil really? Well what can I say about one of the most powerful Doman Generals. I didn't respond to his atrocious comment, but why is still holding me? I want to talk to him about this problem but I'm afraid I'll lose my head if I utter a single mistake of word, so lets take it easy and persuade him to go away.

"You can just put me down in the entrance hall" I told him while my palms are sweating though im freaking out deep inside but this psycho didn't listen to my request.

"I prefer to treat you to where I'm staying, I know this orphanage is lacking of medical necessities so it's better to accept my request and stop averting my words. Now lets go at my place so I can treat you're sprained ankle" he said with a straight-face looking towards his shining expensive car, I want to tell him to leave me alone but I cant refute he's words since his overbearing presence bring's me fear. And I just hurt my ankle, what's the big deal about it? Hes acting is if im going to die. Stop overexaggerating things will you!He can kill me anytime if he wants so lets just shut up and go with the flow. I saw chief baldy looking at me with a pale face as if he's asking me to accommodate this man's needs and requests. He sighed before he lost consciousness because of the heavy atmosphere, that baldie sure is having a heart attack deep inside because of fear, a snicker came out my mouth of how dumb he looks, the people gathered to the chief position assissting and carrying him to the medical center at the same time all of them sighed with relief, some are still in shock while others are crying. I was perplexed by what happened ? why are they overreacting ? but they wont display a fawning expression without a particular reason. Who is this man?I only know him from the rumors,that this Doman is one of the most famous 4 Generals in the society of humans, what can he actually do? What if he didn't forgive them? What will happen to us? What are his capabilities? And what is his ultimate power? Im lacking information since im just an outsider moreover I'm an orphan. I was completely covered with curiosity but I didn't have the guts to ask knowing how the situation is suffocating. We reached outside where he parked his car and he put me gently inside the car as if I had a frail body, I was surprised of how hes treating me, did this guy know me? Is he my stalker? No it cant be, its impossible! such a good-looking guy would be interested in me?not in a million years while I'm nodding my head agreeing to my nonsense he started the car and drove us to the most elegant and expensive building in the Epsilon district.

As soon as I saw the view outside I sighed with a dissatisfied feeling. Sh1t! I have a bad feeling about this well whatever if something bad happens it is what it is.
