9 chapter 9 Old friend

Lucky,here is your food when you are done eating we....... the dog ran upstairs before she could complete her sentence. where are you going, she followed him and to her surprise the dog was standing in front of the entrance that lead to her parents room.

Woof... woof.... woof,he barked

seeing the act Leah knows exactly what he meant..... there was an expression on her face as she stood there for a couple of minutes before she moved forward.you missed them right,she said kneeing down to hug the dog... I missed them too.they are not going to come out cause they are not leaving here anymore, "wherever they are right now I hope they were happy".don't just stand there let go back downstairs and she took the dog back to the sitting room.

here is your food...... she dropped the food in front of him and watched the dog munching the food happily.... good boy.... good boy.she said watching the dog devouring it meal.

Briiiiiiiig........ briiiiiiiig...... briiiiiiiig, her phone was ringing so she brought it out of her pocket to see who was calling.

it's been a long time since they've seen each other last.she excitedly picked up the call. Hello Maya,

hi Leah,how are you doing? it been ages ever since we called each other.how is everything?. everything was fine.

how are you doing over there? am doing great Leah,I just call you to inform you that I will be coming back to the country to stay with you....... Maya said with a sweet calm voice.

what,you are coming back to the country...... after all these years.

yes,am coming to spend time with you.am coming back tomorrow morning,you should come and pick me up by 11:00 in the morning. Leah jumped up in excitement upon hear what she just said at last she will not be living alone.

they... t....Leah was thinking of what to say.she didn't want to tell her friend that she lost her parents,no even on the phone.let talk about them when you get here first,she finally said... ok,I also have a gift for you,Maya said again.

A gift for me... I hope is not going to be that silly teddy bear again,she asked with a smile on her face.because ever since they've becomes friend teddy bear had been a gift she frequently received from her.

No,not a teddy bear this time.....Maya said laughing on the phone.what is it then,just wait till tomorrow bye for now,Maya said before hanging off.

Leah was very happy that her friend was coming to live with her.she missed her so much.they have been friend ever since they were in college before Maya announced that she will be living for the state to continue her education.she remembered those days backed in college when some boys were trying to bullied her but Maya stood to them and beat them up, ever since then not a single boy dare to confront her again.

the memories were all coming back to her like it happened yesterday when she suddenly remember.... the fridge was empty and Maya likes food a lot.she would be angry if she see the fridge that way.she hurried upstairs to her room and come back with a sac and her bag

Lucky, I will be heading to the market now ,make sure you finish your food. I will be right back... ok.

she hit her way towards the grocery store.she bought vegetables and a lot of food stuff as much as she could afford.she was looking around to see what else she can buy when her eyes fell on an advertising board.

"Buy 3 packs and and get 1 pack for free". wow,that sound cool she murmured to herself.

excuse me sir,is that true... Leah asked.

what is that, the man selling asked in return, looking confused.what is written on that board....yes is true..the man said with a smile on his face.

if I buy three packs of noodles am going to get one for free.

since Maya likes noodles am going to get this for her.give me three then plus the free one making 4.

excuse me pls where can I buy a dog food Leah asked the seller again. just the right corner over there you are going to see many of them.the man said pointing at the direction..... thank you...

Leah arrived back home late.she moved to the kitchen to arrange what she bought,she filled up the fridge.......

feeling tired,Lucky am going to bed first, goodnight.

she said before she went upstairs to her room.

Back in Leah's room,she stomped her way to the bathroom and filled up the bath with very warm water.she needed to relax her body.she put some bubbles solution in the tub and it filled up with fluffy bubbles in no time.she slipped inside the tub.

she let her mind drift and it played back the scene of Alex fight with the hooligans.she closed her eyes and smiled.she called me little angel,

After the water began to cool down,she dried herself up and headed out to her bed room.she got dressed in her night gown laid down quietly on her bed.she picked her phone and checked her Gmail to see if she had gotten message from the national house but there is none.

.... she stared at the ceiling for some moments before she finally fall into a dreamless sleep......

The sky was still young went Leah woke up,she climbed off the bed and stretched her body.she walked up to her wardrobe and changed her cloth into sport wear,tie her hair,buckled her shoes before she went downstairs.
