Chapter 1-Rebirth

"....Is this the end?", Lan Xiaolin whispered to herself. "My child, in my next life I won't leave you like this, I will use any means to make sure that hypocritical woman won't get her hands on you. I will do anything, I promise.....", her conscience was slowly fading away. 'Huh who would of thought I would die in the hands of my fake sister, the sister who took my child to soothe her greed. I wish I had thought it through before giving my sister the chance to take away my son and give him to the man who took my innocence, just to make herself affluent. So she was just using me and my son after all. Who would have thought.' Just like that, she passed. Suddenly, she heard an alarm ringing and it was making her annoyed so she just whimpered. "Aren't I supposed to be in heaven, I should have no alarm clock since I have all the time in the world.", she said as her senses were steadily becoming less blurry. Suddenly she felt a sharp piercing pain coming from her stomach. She winced and started screaming, feeling she was laying on a bed, she opened her eyes to the bedroom she stayed in when she was pregnant. She looked around confused as to why she was here. What happened to cause heaven to look like her old bedroom? Then it struck her, there was a big bulge in her stomach which was sending striking blows to her, causing her to whimper. She wasn't feeling too well, and she recognized the feeling. She was given another chance at life, and was sent back in time! Not only that, she was in labor! She quickly tilted on her side so that she could reach for her phone and call the emergency center without causing herself to feel too much pain. The contractions were coming to her in smaller intervals, so it hurt almost the whole entire time until the emergency truck came and took her to the hospital. After twenty one hours of being in the hospital bed, the baby was finally out. After the whole process, Xiaolin was too exhausted to stay up any longer, so she fell asleep with her baby in her hands. By the time she woke up, she noticed that there was a woman about her age standing outside the door of the hospital room, with a sinister smirk on her face. She then looked around herself to find the baby she was looking for laying in her arms. Looking at his face reassured her that she was indeed given another chance to live with him. "My baby Lan Xincheng, I won't ever give you up." Realizing that she was awake, the lady outside elegantly walked in and said in an order-like way,"You will have three more days, and then I will take him and give him a good life." 'You mean give yourself a good life', Xiaolin thought to herself. "I changed my mind sister Ling Yue, I don't want to give him up.", the fatigued mother said to the woman standing across the room from her with a smile across her face that she was trying to hide, "Anyways, I'll find a way to support us even with all the debt we have." Suddenly her face turned dark, "What do you mean, I cared for you the whole time you were pregnant! Now you're telling me you won't give the child to me!" Ling Yue shouted. "Yes, he is too precious to me now!" Xiaolin countered. "This is your last chance to decide, if you don't give me the child, I will make you regret every second you spend with it!" The woman said with an angry tone in her voice. When the Yue left, Xiaolin thought, 'I won't regret any moment I spend with my baby boy.'
