14 My Secret Visit At The Hospital Didn't Go Like I Expected It To

I stayed up until 2:00 AM this morning, just so I could win the $10000 dollars my father Matthew talked about when he was talking about the rules of the Truth or Dare game, and I'm proud of myself because I finally beat my father at something. And shockingly, the person that got drunk first is David, so he has to drink five raw eggs and honestly last night was a night to remember.

Can you believe that I got dared to make out with Anthony infront of my family and my ex-husband; got dared to give me any amount of hickey he wanted to give me and he had to fill my neck and boobs with hickey. I planned from a few days, that I'd go to the hospital here in LA to do a check up on myself, because I have been feeling odd lately, and my emotions are now beyond my control and I realize that I need Anthony's attention more than usual so I want to check myself out, just to make sure everything is fine.

I was already dressed in a long Orange sleeve dress that I made a few months ago when I was bored. And this elastic dress happens to be one of my favorite and since I have all the curves in all the right places, I didn't see why I couldn't wear the elegant dress. I already uploaded two chapters for the book I was working on, so I didn't need to stay up late tonight again.

I sigh in relief, as I saw the paper and pen I was searching for a paper to write a note telling Anthony of who I was going to visit one of my girlfriend. I have to lie because if I tell Anthony that I'm going to the hospital, he is going to hunt me down; and I don't want him to worry about me so, am choosing not to tell him.

The Note

I happily slipped out the front door, without getting interrupted or disturbed. I didn't leave the house just so though, I left a voice message that everyone could listen to because I know that I'll

be missed dearly.

Ping* Ping* Ping*Ping*Ping*

"Hey girl, why didn't you tell us that you were only 10 minutes drive away?" Shaquila questioned, as the call connected.

"Am sorry babe, I got caught up with work and the fact that Anthony is staying at my home," Alayna said as she drived at a steady speed to the hospital that was only 30 minutes drive away.

"You mean your sexy ass Ex-Husband?" Shaquila asked in a knowing voice.

"Don't talk about my man like that quila! You know we go way back but I'll beat your ass if I have to," Alayna shouted saying lightly as she was jealous.

"Girl, you know we can both beat each other's asses! You mean that Anthony that you swore your life you wouldn't date back is with you?" Shaquila asked in disbelief.

"Yes, that's what I'm saying on my way to the hospital. But if Anthony or any of my family members call can you please tell them that we are out together please?" Alayna pleaded desperately.

"WHY ARE YOU GOING TO THE HOSPITAL?" Shaquila shouted through the line already worried.

"Nothing really, I'm just going to do my regular check up. I feel nauseous these days, I sleep more, am now eating less and other things," Alayna said as she pulled her car in a parking lot at

the Wander land hospital and throw up in a nearby brush.

"Are you sure you're not pregnant Alay? I mean those are the symptoms of pregnancy," Shaquila spoke up already anxious and excited.

"Quila, my doctor specifically told me that I can't get pregnant and you know too so stop saying that," Alayna said as she stepped out of her car.

"I am aware of that, but what if....," Shaquila stated, but she was rudely cut off by Alayna.

"I have to go quila, I'm now at the hospital so I'll call you later on to give you the update," Alayna said before hanging up her phone.

Anthony's POV

I twisted and turned, as I felt the cold breeze on my bare back. I rolled further on the bed so that some of the heat on Alayna could rub off on me, but when I didn't feel her nor smell her mint scent I opened my eyes and I was very surprised that the bed was empty.

And normally Alayna is up typing but these days she's sleeping late than she normally does, women are so unpredictable I swear. I pooped my eyes out in confusion, as I saw a paper on the well built dresser.

Out of curiousity, I got up to look at what was on the paper. My brain clicked deep in thought, as soon as I finished reading the letter Alayna wrote. I have a feeling that my girlfriend is hiding something important from me and she's still acting weird and since she's at one of her

girlfriend's places I'm going to call her best friend Shaquila.

Phone Call Conversation

"Hey tony, what's up," Shaquila asked.

"Am good, how are you?" Anthony asked weirdly.

"Am ok, I know you didn't call to ask me if I'm okay so get to the point," Shaquila said annoyed.

"Is Alayna at your place?" Anthony asked curiously.

"Yeah sh..e's he..re wh..y?" Shaquila stuttered.

"I know when you're lying, where is she?" Anthony asks in concern.

"She's at the hospital, she said she was doing her regular check up," Shaquila replied back slowly.

"Thank you," Anthony hung up and went to take a quick shower.

Back at the hospital

"Good Morning Miss Green, you may come this way,'' Doctor Taylor spoke up saying with a kind gesture.

"Good Morning Doc," Alayana responded back in a respectful manner.

"I see that your back for your regular check ups early this time, is there something wrong?" Doctor Taylor asked in concern.

"Not really, I had sex two weeks ago and from that night until now am getting sick in the morning, I'm more emotional, I eat less than I usually do, I'm feeling for unusual things and my period is now 2 days late," Alayana said in confusion as to what could be happening to her

body.

10 minutes later

Doctor Taylor POV

Alayna has been one of my regular patients that I've built a reliable friendship with. She is a nice young woman and I know that the main reason Anthony and her didn't work out is because she couldn't get pregnant but when I test her urine she is indeed pregnant, maybe there was nothing wrong with Alayna after all, maybe the problem was just Anthony's.
