6 I Ask Anthony And Alayna To Buy A Christmas Tree And This Happened

Rachel, why is the ware house so quite?" Matthew asked puzzled as he sat down on the bed next to his wife.

"Well, David, Jennifer, Vanessa and Tanya are in town shopping for Groceries, gifts, clothes, paint, air fresheners, bleach and so on for the house. And Alayna, Jordon, Elizabeth and Georgia are at a fair near by," Rachel added before sipped her tea carefully, not wanting to make a mess on the floral sheets, she shared with her husband.

"So where's Anthony? Are you saying that we both have the whole house to ourselves, babe do you even know how many things we could get done right now?" Matthew asked his wife as he bite down on his red lips - it's something he normally do, when he is deep in his thoughts.

"Anthony is at Bryan's house, and yes we have the whole house to ourselves, tell me all the evil things running through that brain of yours ?" Rachel asked in amusement.

"Do you always have to think so negatively Rach? What I was thinking was that; we could have a bubble bath together, exchange massages and you since everyone is out, I figured that we could call Alayna and Anthony separately and tell the both of them to get us a Christmas tree,"Matthew said with his usual smirk.

"Am sorry babe, we could get the Alayna and Anthony to spend extra time together but how are we going to pull something like this off and most importantly how would we know that our plan work?" Rachel asked as she tilted her face slightly as she looked at Matthew.

"It's fine just don't be so quick to judge me, am glad you like my idea though. Babe you know you don't have to worry how the plan is to work, don't you already know that your husband here has a lot of tricks up his leaves, and I did place a camera on Alayna's coat last night," Matthew said with a laugh.

" you..... did.... what! Are you sure you placed a camera on her coat? You're so good at what you do," Rachel shouted as she jumped up on down like a two year old child.

"I knew you would be excited, so should I make the call or do you want to make it?" Matthew asked Rachel with a smirk evident on his face.

"I want to call all the kids to check up on them, but first I'm going to call Alayna and Anthony so, our mission does not get affected but instead be effective. Am going to call Jennifer right after that, to check up on her since she just found out that her husband is cheating on her and I just want to see if she is doing okay," Rachel said with a sigh as she remembers the incident that happened couple nights ago.

"I agree with what you're saying Rach, I for one know how it feels to be cheated on; which is why I am flying to Jamaica early January and stay at my sister Claudia's house and deal with the situation from there. If I have to wear the orange suit, prisoners wear for my daughter to be happy then so be it, you know that no one can hurt any of my children without me doing something about it," Matthew said with a serious expression on his face.

"I know that my husband is a badass but don't forget that I can be Karma as well, do I need to remind you that we were partners of the JDF in 1987," Rachel said as she slowly massaged the intense muscles that were formed in Matthew's neck and shoulders.

•15 minutes later•

I closed my eyes, letting the darkness that everyone so often dread consume me as, I thought deeply about my life as I swang in the familar swing-swang that Anthony and I used to make out in when we were going to Edna Manley High School.

I remember all the memories Anthony and I shared together just like it was yesterday. Back in high school, when Anthony took me on chessy dates I always thought they were sweet and romantic, the way we connected made my pairs jealous, he was the music in our relationship and I was the rhythme, we were stupidly inlove with each other until we got married.

Everything was going well for the first 3 years of our marriage, until we both found out that I couldn't get pregnant. we went to doctors upon doctors but the medications just weren't working and the faith we both had just vanished. And it sucks that the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with left me because I couldn't bear a child for him.

Seeing back Anthony at my father's house for the first time after our divorced made me angry because I fooled myself that just maybe he would come back to me but when days went into weeks and weeks turn into months and months turn into years I was traumatized and heart broken, but I was pulled out of my train of thoughts as my phone rang in my jeans pants.

•Conversation over the phone with Alayna•

"Hey ma, what's up?" Alayna asked in a sweet voice.

"Hey honey, how are you doing?" Rachel asked innocently.

"Ma, knowing you I know you didn't call me to hear how I'm doing, so cut to the chase," Alayana

said annoyed.

"Watch your tone young lady, but since you asked me to cut to the chase I want you to go by

Chelsey's decorative store and get me a christmas tree," Rachel said clumsily.

"But am.....," Alayna didn't get to finish her sentence because she was interupted.

"Thanks for your service, you better not come back at home without a tree," Rachel said before hanging up rudely.

•End Of Conversation with Alayna•

"Damit, well I better get going then because I know my mom can be sweet but she can play the role of Karma pretty well," Alayna spoke to herself saying inwardly.

"How did it go?" Matthew asked, unable to read his wife's expression.

"It went well, let's get to the remaining phone calls," Rachel said with a proud grin.

•Conversation on the phone with Matthew•

"Hey man, am sorry to disturb but can you do me a favour right now?" Matthew asked, controlling himself from laughing his ass off.

"Yes Mr Robert, you know I'd do anything for you and your family," Anthony said back in his

husky voice.

"Enough with the pep talk then, can you go get me a christmas tree? I'd get one myself but am caught up with some paperwork right now and my wife picks the worst trees," Matthew said in a low voice he knew Anthony would buy his story.

"Mr Green that's the least I can do, where do you always get you Christmas trees from?'' Anthony asked curiously.

"Chelsey's decorative store," Matthew added quickly.

•30 minutes later•

"Why are you staring at me like that, do I have something on my face?" Matthew questioned with his eyebrows raised for full effect.

"No, I'm just surprised that you're such a good liar, but really am the worst at trees babe aren't you the one worst at picking them," Rachel asked with a frown settled on her face.

"SHhh! Don't you hear Anthony and Alayna arguing!" Matthew questioned his wife.

"They are.... where...," Rachel didn't finish her sentence because she was looking at the TV at

Anthony and Alayna.

•The argument•

"I don't need to sound rude or anything but what are you doing here," Alayna asks Anthony with a confused expression settled on her face.

"Do I need your permission to be here? But since you like to butt into people's business, am here getting a Christmas tree for Matthew.

"What?.....There.....Must.....Be.....Some misunderstanding, my mom told me to get a tree," Alayna said, rolling her eyes annoyed.

"Am not leaving without a tree though," Anthony said with determination written all over his face.

"Am not leaving without a tree either, so we are ending up with two Christmas trees," Alayna

said as she tried lifting up a Christmas tree but she ended up falling to the ground on her butt.

"Can I have a replay of you falling again?" Anthony said as he laughed holding his tummy in the process.

"Oh so you think this is funny," Alayna said as she got back up and pushed Anthony down but she went down with Anthony instead.

I planned on just pushing Anthony down on the ground, but fate had another thing planned. I was right on top off Anthony, with my breathe hitching in my throat as I felt tingles everywhere

and then I was aware of one thing_________________
