the first battle
Oliver was on his way to annihilate his first group of food soldiers.
He decided to start with the group that was going to cause him the most trouble, that was the group with the commander that had the talent [mana freeze (S-grade)].
The commander was standing in the middle of the group, making the only shot Oliver had, striking him from a distance with a lightning bolt, obsolete.
His only other option was to call in Anna, when he sees her, he'll probably turn off his [mana freeze (S-grade)] when he realizes she is a physical fighter trying to give his own troops an advantage, at that moment Oliver could just teleport and let his [lighting field (B-grade) (25)] a [mana domain (S-grade) (7)] do the rest.
Those skills had leveled up a lot, so he decided to look at them a little more in detail before starting battle.

Description: creates a domain 107 meters around you where every enemy gets suppressed 10% for every 100 mana you have more than them, if you have more than 500 mana more than them, they get suppressed and take damage according to (the amount of mana over 500 you have more than them)/93 every second.
Cost: 200 mana per second.

Cost: 70 mana per second.

On the other hand, Lighting field had a big damage increase of 50% and a little range extension.
Overall, he did a quick calculation and every attack from Lighting field now did [19.853] damage every 0.5 seconds.
The suppression of mana domain was at 50% and the extra damage was at max [430] which was crazy if you realize that it affected everyone in 107 meters radius, all at the same time, not like lightning field that could only strike 1 enemy at a time.
Now that he knew exactly how much damage he could do, he wasted no more time and summoned Anna, after he asked if he could summon her of course.

Anna said with the same bright smile and slightly red cheeks as last time.
Oliver was still kind of surprised of how good she has gotten at formal talk.
"Alright Anna, I didn't summon you here for a conversation or dinner, we can do that at base camp, I have an enemy that I need your help with, but first take some time to heal and regen your mana."
"Anything you want, Oliver, just tell me the specifics."
"It isn't going to be difficult, you don't even need to defeat any people, what you need to do is hold off an army of around a 1000 players all at level 5-6 so that I can kill their leader, one's that is done, you can just leave, if the leader isn't there the rest is going to be easy as cake."
"Okay, no problem, but are there any specifics that I need to know?"
"Yes, you need to act as a pure melee combat unit, so no skills or anything ells that uses mana, do you think that is feasible?"
"Hmm, that is going to be difficult, without skills holding back 1000 players, I think at most I can give you around 1 to 2 minutes before it becomes dangerous for me."
When Oliver heard this, he was surprised, he didn't think that Anna would be that strong, but in the end, Oliver really only needed 1-2 second not minutes, it was a little overkill.

A 100 meters away from Oliver a big group of people, 1 man in the middle with mages around him and around that the warriors were marching ahead, A discomforting silence clouded the battlefield, until the man next to the man in the middle raised his voice.
"Commander, I spot an enemy straight in our path, she seems to be a warrior with a sword and heavy armor, what shall we do."
"Can you see any of her stats?"
"No, nothing, but my danger sense tells me she is very powerful."
"Hmm okay, tell the shield line to engage slowly if she doesn't use any high profile skills I'll disable [mana freeze (S-grade)], so tell the mages to be ready."
Just as planed Anna rushed the shield wall, only using her physical attacks, not using a skill ones, after about 10 seconds of this the commander found himself comfortable enough to disable his talent [mana freeze (S-grade)].
"Mages, get ready to fire!!!"
A second after that, he disabled [mana freeze (S-grade)].
"Mages, Fi-"

Out of nowhere, a lightning bolt struck the commander, killing him on the spot.
Everything fell quiet for a second after that big explosion, all of them could simply not understand what just happened, the second the commander deactivated his [mana freeze (S-grade)] a young man had appeared and shot out a bolt of lightning.
But they didn't have long to think, the second the commander fell, lightning bolts started flying towards everyone close to the young man, even if you weren't close, you could feel a heavy suppression on your shoulders plus you were constantly taking really weird damage, it was like the mana itself was assaulting them.
At that moment of chaos, Anna noted that she was of no help anymore and departed the battlefield while everyone was distracted.
Oliver on the other hand had a proper field day in the battlefield, his high area of effect damage coupled with his extremely high agility which he used to avoid the occasional spell coming his way made him close to invincible on the battlefield.
It didn't take long for the whole battlefield to be cleared and for Oliver to finally have a second to think.
His original plan was to copy this commander's talent, he even wondered why it was only [S-grade], but after learning about mana bodies he understood why its grade was so low, if the mana body's grade of your opponent was high enough, he could overpower the control that [mana freeze (S-grade)] had on the mana, so Oliver decided against copying this talent.
After thinking things through, Oliver met up with Anna again to look at the loot.
The armor and gear weren't worth noting, but the number of coins and exp was.
The exp he got was 600 million, which was to be expected when you knew all of them were level 5-6.
The number of coins wasn't shabby either, they had a total of 25 million coins on them.
"Anna, I don't need you for the next couple of assaults, I think I can remember some low level dungeons in this area, go there and level up."
"Okay, no problem, and good luck."
After saying goodbye to Anna Oliver quickened his pace towards the other big groups of soldiers, after all, when they get wind of what is going on they will most likely retreat, making it way more difficult to hunt them, they might even surrender, that would be a waste.
