The Transportation

*slash* *splat* *thud*

"Phew, Security here is pretty light don't your think so Kiana?" I asked.

{"They are on the battlefield right now trying to expand their territory"} She answered.

(Still even if it was just 1/3 of the demon army who remained to protect the castle why the hell am I only seeing a handfull of them. They couldn't have foresaw this right?)

{"I'm pretty sure your friends are there too"} She added throwing me off my analysis of the situation.

"I told you they are not my damn friends they are just some old classmates, anyways lets just find the treasure and get the hell out of here"

While I was walking down the hallway I was met with 10 elite demon knights. The demon knights quickly unsheated their blades and took their stances.

"Oh shit why are the elites here weren't they supposed to be on the battlefield? Damn it."

I unsheathe my blade and took my stance.

Two of the elite demon knights stepped forward while the other eight continued to the castle's exit.

"Underestimating me now are we?" I mumbled annoyingly.

[Infernal Blade]

The Elite Demon Knight's sword went ablaze with black flame. The Elite then charges towards me at an increasing speed.

"Shit he's fast, I might not be able to keep up"

The Elite Demon Knight appears behind me and slashes my back but there was no trace of slash marks on my cloak.

"Gotcha"

[Wind Blade]

I swiftly turn around and pierce through his chestplate using the wind blade. I instantly stab the exposed part the wind blade pierced. I direct my sword to stab the heart, delivering a lethal blow.

I remove my blade from his body and instantly casted a gust of wind to try and throw off the other knight's balance.

"I WILL KILL YOU, I WILL AVENGE HIM, INFERNAL BLADE-" The other knight yelled.

"Whats this? Casting the same skill? Don't you people know other skills? Looks like I overestimated you guys" I shouted.

[Wind Stride]

I disappeared in the blink of an eye and reappeared behind him. I raised my arm to slash his back.

"Ha, too predictable" the knight said whilst moving blade to counter mine.

Our blades clashed and by the sheer power of impact, I lost my balanced. He quickly slashed my me leaving trails of black flame on my cloak.

[Wind Pierce]

The wind starts surrounding my blade and starts spining like a drill, I sped up my speed and lunged towards him. The wind surrounding my blade pierced his armor and stab his heart.

I pulled my blade from the Elite Demon Knight's corpse and sheathed it.

"Aren't you impressed Kiana?" I asked with a prideful smile on my face.

{"You would've died with out me, you rely on my protection too much. You would've died without my cloak"} She replied.

"Sigh, Ok fine maybe I rely on you too much but I wouldn't be that careless if I didn't have your protection" I replied.

I continued to walk down the hallway and was met with two doors. I randomly picked a door and entered it. I ended up entering the left door and to my surprise it was a room filled with cells filled with people from different races, They had their clothes torned apart and multiple wounds from different parts of their body. I quickly released the prisoners but they were too weak to move. So i was forced to carry them with wind magic.

{"Hey hurry up you are taking too long, I wanna rest"} Kiana said impatiently.

"Well I don't see you helping at all" I said

{"Are you dumb? I don't have a physical body how the hell am I gonna help you?"} Kiana said with an increasing tone.

"Magic, Duh what else you should use magic ofcour-"

I was startled for a prisoner recognized me. It was a hoarse and weak voice, but I was fairly certain it was my name.

The voice came from the cell behind me. I rushed over to check who it was, It was a silver haired girl. She had no clothes, she also looked malnourished and she was also severly wounded. I recognized the person who called out my name, It was Aerilyn an old classmate of mine one of the few who defended me from getting kicked out from the royal palace but in the end I was kicked out from the party.

"A-adria-n i-is that y-you?" Aerilyn said with a scared hoarse voice as she was laying down the floor.

"Yes, It's me. Do you need healing?" I worriedly said.

{"Look at her state Adrian, She is bleeding. Do you seriously think she doesn't need healing"} Kiana stated.

[Soothing Winds]

The wind starts to surround Aerilyn and her wounds began to close.

"Thank you, Adrian" Aerilyn said

"Oh no problem im just here to help an old friend"

"Adrian do you know where Lesley and the other are?" Aerilyn asked.

"They are already dead, ever since the first attack of the demon king's army" I answered

"Then I have failed again, I failed to save everyone again." She said whilst having tears flow down from her eyes.

"It's been my 50th try but I still couldn't keep them alive. I tried to save everyone over and over again but I can't save them" She added.

"50th time??? What do you mean by that Aerilyn."

"Oh, You don't know? It's my magic. I specialize on time magic. Thats the only reason they bothered keeping me around." Aerilyn answered.

"This is also the first time I saw you with that cloak, Out of all the other timelines. You never had that cloak" Aerilyn said.

{"Interesting, So that means i'm mean't to be contracted to you"} Kiana said in a happy tone.

"Adrian, Do you want power?" Aerilyn suddenly asked.

"What? Power where is all of this coming from?" I asked.

{"Adrian, come on say yes"} Kiana stated.

"Adrian just answer the question. Do you want power?" Aerilyn asked again.

"Ofcourse I do" I replied.

"The can you go back in time and save everyone?" She added.

"Woah, Woah hold on there how can I even be sure that this is all worth it." I said.

"Can't you trust my word? We have been friends for so long. Do you still not trust me?" Aerilyn stated in a sad voice.

"Look it's not like I don't trust you, I just want to know how powerful is this power your talking about." I said

"Well, I can say if you use it correctly maybe just maybe..... You can kill a god" Aerilyn said.

"Kill a god??? You have to be kidding. But then again you have some reason to lie, but im willing to trust you on this one". I stated.

"Thank you, Adrian" Aerilyn said.

{"Let's go kill gods Adrian, Lets go kill tons of them!"} Kiana said in an excited manner.

So then Aerilyn and I discussed about what I should do once I get transported back. She gave me lists of big events I have to prepare for to keep everyone safe, This might be a great but travelling back in time would mean me losing everything I worked for. With that said weeks go by and its finally time for the transport.

"Do you remember the big events? Have you memorized them? Are you mentally prepared?" Aerilyn asked.

"Don't worry I've got this, Just start the ritual already". I said.

{"Don't worry I will be going with you, Our contract is not tied down to space and time"}

Kiana said.

"What YOUR STUCK WITH ME?? I ALSO WASN'T WORRIED AT ALL ABOUT LOSING YOU" I said in a scared tone.

{"Listen here you little shit. You made the contract with me so you will stick with me till you die, Although you won't die because I will always protect you. I won't let you die, I want to stay with you forever"} Kiana said in a creepy manner.

"Um that's very creepy" I stated

"Adrian, Its starting, If you ever find trouble then call out on my past self." Aerilyn said

"Got it" I replied.

A burst of light shined, I began to feel some immense pain. The feeling of getting stabbed over and over again but never dying. The light started to vanish and I saw mountains from a far, The ocean from a distance, and birds.

"Wait birds?" I said confusedly.

Soon I realized I was falling from the sky again.
