“Yeah,” he rasps and averts his eyes.

My feet refuse to move in the direction of the bathroom. Instead, they take me closer to Drew until a mere few inches separate us. I cup the side of his face, caressing his cheek. A sharp intake of breath draws my eyes to his lips.

“Drew.” His name comes out like a plea. He pulls me down and captures my lips in a kiss so scorching, I’m tempted to make sure the room isn’t on fire. I’m taken back to the alley where we shared our first kiss; however, this kiss tops all of our alley kisses. There were years of experience and a promise of something much, much more in this connection.

I kiss back, releasing years and years of pent up wanting and desire. Tongues duel for dominance; hands grasp at faces, waists, backsides. Drew reaches for my belt, his intention clear. I place my hand over his and break the kiss.
