1 Prologue

"Have a good day!"

"You too sir."

After saying good bye to the last customer I start to close up shop. I consider myself very successful not because of my income but because I love my job. I am a veterinarian, not the best, but I have a good personality and hard working attitude. People like dealing with me as opposed to other veterinarians. Some customers have even become my friends.

After closing up shop I hop in my car and start driving my way home. Of course I have to play classical music on the way back.

Reaching the half way mark to my house the radio becomes static and obnoxiously loud. I turn off the radio but the sound is still there and it's only getting louder and louder. I pull over my car on the side of the road, turn it off, and hop out. But the sound's still there and increasing in volume. I cry out in pain. My eardrums feel like they exploded, but i can still hear it. If I was able to focus on anything but the pain I would know how weird this situation is. Also that it's only getting weirder.
