Syringe, scalpels, and other medical and laboratory equipments are scattered all over the floor. The medicines are also falling and is smash to the floor from the medicine rack. The lights from the room is flickering and could explode anytime.

The entire research laboratory is in shambles and already near from collapsing.

In the midst of the mess, a girl in her white coat is lying in the cold floor, blood is trickling beneath her lips and head. Her coat is also stained with blood from her wounds and she is already close to death yet her eyes that as deep as the ocean look very cold and stare at the woman who is smiling in front of her and in her right hand she was holding the research paper that her teammates have been working for the past years.

"Han Li!" The girl on the floor shouted the name of the girl who is standing in front of her. She look at her coldly yet there was a trace of sadness, pain and remorse.

"Yang Jia, I must you thank you for your hardwork. It's such a shame that you still choose to be this way. We could have make the world a better place" Han Li snort and grin at her.

Yang Jia just look at her and the coldness in her eyes disappear. She look at her most trusted friend and tears were starting to fall from her eyes.

She can't believe that the one who could betray them is Han Li. Her wounds aren't aching from pain but it was her heart that is in pain. Nothing hurts more than being betrayed by the one you love and cared the most. She treated her like a sister, a family.

"Han Li, in the end was it worth it?" In her dying state this are the words that she could blurt out.

Han Li just look at her with her expressionless face and turn her back toward the friend she cared for. She already done it by betraying them and nothing can mend it anymore.

She held back her tears and walk away from her but before she could exit she heard those words that would left her in regret and remorse in her entire life.

"Han Li, in my next life my only wish is that I would never ever meet you! I will drag you down and follow us to our death" Yang Jia shouted and took the suitcase not very far from her.

It was the new bomb they have invented that could destroy an entire city. It was a good thing that this research Medical Laboratory is located in the Gobi desert so nothing will be affected near its vicinity.

Yang Jia activated it and only smile at Han Li who stop in her steps from leaving the building and look at Yang Jia with wide eyes when she saw the suitcase before she shouted.

For the last time, Yang Jia just look around the place and close her eyes and in that moment the building started to collapse and explode.

Yang Jia open her eyes and look around trying to discern where she is right now?

I was at the laboratory and I should be dead right? How is it that I'm waking up? Is this heaven or am I just dreaming?

She found herself sitting in a carriage. She lifted the curtain and found nothing but trees.

Yang Jia suddenly spurted blood and found herself being poison and before she could analyze her situation a black arrow past through leaving her in a shocked state.

Just what the hell is going! Then she heard someone shouting "Your highness! Assassins! There are assassins!"

What? Assassins? Your highness?

Without any clarifications from what is going Yang Jia get out of the carriage and a lot of weird arrows like lightning are flying through their direction.

The carriage driver and her single escort is already dead and what about her? She has no fighting skills all she could do is run!

Yang Jia just run through the forest and took out the arrow that pierce on her shoulder.

She just keep on running and running until she reach to a cliff where she can see a mist only and when she turn back she saw a lot of men base on their physique who are wearing weird black clothes and a sword pointed at me.

"Hey, I don't think I have any enmities with you guys" Yang Jia just said and without any hesitation the black robes men started to attak her while she could only close her eyes and curve herself.

She was ready to accept that stabbing pain but she felt nothing but only heard some clashing sounds and when look at she found a man in red robe fighting the assassins.

Yang Jia can't help but widen her eyes. Some are flying everywhere and throwing fireballs, water and unknown energy to the man in red robes.

The man in red robes was slash given a slash from his chest and he stagger back near to where Yang Jia is standing.

"You bunch of fools! Ganging up someone!' Yang Jia shouted and saw that one of the assassin is attacking.

She just run in front of the man and was stab at the right side of her abdomen while the man in red robes was shock through what she had done and before the assassins could attack them Yang Jia gather all her energy to pull the man and jump to the cliff.

The man who is hiding not very far from the cliff emerge and look down to where the two person had jump off.

"Find them and make sure that Princess is dead! I want her corpse!"
