Prologue

"Papa, this person is so cool! But why does he always lose to the hero?"

An innocent little girl looked at the projected image on a reflective surface, a large mirror that floated in the air. Her fingers, so small and delicate, pointed toward a certain human being close to his death.

"It's because he was the only human who dared to stand against the elders," another voice, which sounded like it came from the deep of the earth, replied.

The little girl tilted her head, not understanding what the voice was saying.

"If he dares to stand against the elders, it means he's strong, right?! Why is a cool and strong person like him lose to the hero who's afraid of the elders?"

The voice went quiet for a moment. Then, it was making a deliberate throat-clearing noise.

"Uhum. Unfortunately, the elders won the fight against him. Then they threw him to the dungeon. What you see from Myrs is only a fraction of him that managed to escape the elders."

"Oh! That explains why he lost against the hero at the second and the third!" The little girl said. "If he can get his original state back, he will not lose to anyone, even the elders!"

The voice didn't respond. It knew very well defeating even an elder was an impossible feat for a human. The only way for a human to kill an elder was to receive help from another elder.

That was originally just a wild theory among the youngsters, even the voice who had been talking with the little girl didn't believe it until it witnessed a particular event that changed his belief.

"Do you want to see him defeat the elders?"

"Of course! The elders are mean people! They hurt Grandpa in the past, and now they kicked us from the palace!" shouted the little girl, her hands resting on her hips. "If anyone can take revenge for us, it's this cool human!"

She stared at the void behind her.

"Papa, I have a request..."

In the depth of the void, time seemed to stop, only a stillness and serenity were present. It was very dark. In that place where even the light could not illuminate anything, a unique-looking red sphere that resembled an eyeball shone brightly, breaking the very essence of the void.

Growl...
