The Drunken God

(Azure Cloud Continent)

Two beautiful women hovered above a dark and despotic cliff that seemed to have no end to it. Waves of terrifying energy rolled out from the bottom of the cliff in forms of dark mist.

"Why'd you make him do that?" The black-haired woman asked in curiosity next to her the golden woman next to her.

In response to her question, the blonde woman smiled in fond memories of him, "My man needs to be the best at everything, money, cultivation, schemes, and manipulation. He will become the perfect husband for us."

The black-haired women's mouth slightly opened in realization then she shook her head and muttered, "I haven't been in the mortal realm for too long."

Another large pulse of devil energy pulsed out from the bottom of the cliff, once again causing rubbles of the cliff to fall down.

"This energy…" The black-haired woman shivered in fear as a memory resurfaced in her mind.

The blonde woman frowned as she felt the energy, "Why is this here?" she asked to no-one in particular.

"Let's go check it out," the black-haired woman shook the fear that had clouded her mind from past memories.

Nodding her head in agreement, they both flew down to the dark cliff as darkness embraced them.

(Blue Wind Empire)

Crowds of people surrounded a golden store, rich and poor, powerful and weak, the store didn't discriminate. All of them surrounded the store, some wore displeased expressions while most of them had a fervent expression on their face.

"Did you hear? The Drunken God's store is releasing another wine." A man dressed in rich robes with fire decorated on it.

"Obviously idiot, why else are we here," the man replied in annoyance as he bonked the man on the head who asked the question.

Looking through the windows of the store, I smiled while Yue'er who was almost used to the popularity of the wine shook her in surprise once again.

Bringing the teacup to my mouth, I drank some of tea. Sipping the top of it, I tasted the bitter taste of the tea and shook my head in disgust.

"How do people like this?" I mused as I watched the people outside line up for wine and tea.

Looking at them mindlessly line up for the wine, I laughed at how easy it was to control them. Give them something that can take away their troubles, even for a minute, will make them become addicted to it.

However, this method will not work with the more wealthy and powerful of the city, they are usually always cultivating or have little to no troubles.

Nodding my head to the guards who were standing outside the store, they opened the doors to the store and streams of people flooded in.

In an instant, the once completely full shelves packed with wine and tea, were gone. People had already formed another line, in front of the receptionist.

No-one tried to run away with their wine or tea, I made sure that they would be scared of the repercussions that came with stealing.

After about an hour or so, the line had finally been reduced to a few last customers, the ones with power. They naturally were interested in me; they would most likely want their own personal supplies.

I sat on the chair with the fire behind me and a large mahogany table in front. 3 young masters were sitting on the chairs, each giving off a unique aura.

They looked at each other then, the one with the fire aura sat up and said, "We would like to have you supply us a steady stream of wine and tea". The one with the fire aura said in arrogance, as if I would be honoured to listen to him.

I looked at them with a cold glint in my eyes, "Is this what you came here for? To negotiate with me with that arrogant tone of yours?" I leaned forward as I started into his eyes.

Releasing my Sky profound cultivation, they were shivered as their highest cultivation was only Earth realm.

Looking at them trembling underneath my pressure, I released them with a snort then said, "Scram."

I sighed in annoyance at these people, when will they learn that they are just frogs in a well.

"Sir, there's another guest here for you." The guard came in and bowed.

I waved my hand and said, "Send them away."

When he heard my response his expression turned awkward, knowing probably what happened I sighed once again.

Another powerful or someone with background came.

"Send them in and make sure no-one else comes to me for the day."

"Will do, sir." The guard bowed again and left the room.

A black-haired beauty aged in her early 20s came in, instead of having an oppressive and arrogant manner like the previous people. She had a noble bearing to her, something like royalty.

Regaining my posture and manners, I sat up and smiled warmly and asked, "What can I do for you?"

Stunned from either my looks or age, she just stood there for a few seconds until realizing what she was doing.

"Sorry about staring at you like that, it's just that I have never anything like those eyes before." She apologized. "I would like to partner up with your store so I can distribute the wine and tea to more areas."

"Hmm. How about this, I will let you distribute it to one store in every major empire's capital." I proposed.

She was quite confused on why I wanted to do that, so I explained my thoughts to her. Starting with the exclusivity of the brand and how it will become a luxury item, which means that it will rise in value, but we will never actually raise the price. Commoners would greatly appreciate what we're doing, and we will be creating a favourable stance in their eyes.

Nodding her head in understanding, she reached out her hand for me to shake it.

"Sorry, I didn't catch your name?" I smiled as I shook her hand.

"Cang Yue." She replied with a smile of her own.

She thanked me and left the building.

Sorry for the very late chapter. Countless assignments and tests have been keeping me up to 2am. I will try to upload as much as I can in the next few days.
