3 Chapter 3 - Blue Pole Star

Ken and Shen Xi sat down under the tree, creating a beautiful scenery of a young mother taking care of her son. The clear running water and lush green grass next to them further enhanced the perfectness of the moment.

Shen Xi and Ken talked about their past and what had happened to them when Shen Xi learns that Ken had grown up without the care of a mother and father. Her motherly instincts activated as she started caressing Ken's hair while Ken pouted at being treated like a child. Xi chuckled seeing this and said, "Your pouting only increases your cuteness," as she then proceeded to pinch his cheeks.

Ken turned his head and crossed his arms as he believed that a man should not be cute but rather handsome. Such comments were insulting his pride as a man, even if he was only 4 years old at the moment.

"Ok, let's be serious for a sec. I swear on my dignity as the Dragon Queen that I will not abandon you. So, forget it if you want to leave me." Shen Xi said with a serious tone and expression.

(A/N: This is NOT too outrageous, imagine if you were saved by a 4-year-old who had no parents. You would probably want to repay the favour and want to help him.)

"I didn't have any plans to leave without you anyway. Otherwise, how will I able to return to my big sister," Ken complained at being wrongly accused at. Ken was somewhat like Shen Xi, although he had been trapped for a far shorter time compared to Shen Xi, he was not allowed to go anywhere outside the palace as Ying'er was extremely protective of him, almost bordering yandere.

(A/N: Hehehe… I just read <What do you mean my cute disciples are yandere?> and I liked it. Don't worry only 2 people will be yandere)

Ken's urge to explore was just about as big as Shen Xi's despite being trapped for a far shorter time. Shen Xi seeing that Ken agreed that she is coming with him, smiled and stood up. She grabbed his hand and immediately started impatiently walking out but Ken put his feet in the ground to stop her.

"No! We can't leave until big sister Ying'er returns," Ken shook his head as he stopped Shen Xi from dragging him out.

Shen Xi frowned as she realized Ying'er might not return soon as she was seeking revenge. "Ken honey, Ying'er might not return so soon because she is searching for the person who did this to you and Ying'er wouldn't want you to be bored in this place," Shen Xi tried to convince him to leave because she was extremely eager to see the vast world once again.

"No! Definitely not, I will not leave sister." Ken snorted at the very idea of leaving his sister which Shen Xi was helpless too.

"How about I send Ying'er a sound transmission so she knows what we're doing and will know where to find us? Shen Xi suggested as she really wanted to leave but also didn't want to leave Ken.

Ken contemplated after hearing that Ying'er will know what they're doing and where they are. He nodded his head in agreement as he thought about it, Shen Xi giggled at this child-like behaviour because he openly displayed his emotions, unlike most people who learn to hide their emotions.

"As long as sister will be able to find us," Ken agreed and nodded as he found the idea more and more likeable.

"All right! We set out," Shen Xi shouted with barely contained excitement in her voice, she couldn't wait to see the outside world again. Before they set out, Shen Xi sent a sound transmission towards the Qianye Ying'er which would probably take 5-6 years for her to receive.

Shen Xi's current cultivation was only Divine Tribulation as she had exchange parts of her cultivation to stay alive after using the Heaven Punishing Ancestral Sword once. She decided they would go to a low-level planet so they can hide and train in order to explore the Primal Chaos safely.

After exploring many low-level planets, she had finally found a suitable planet that only had sovereigns as the highest cultivation realm. This will definitely be a good place to train and allow Ken to train his new eyes.

As their profound ark slowly lowered themselves down on a barren wasteland, Ken was jumping around excitedly looking about but all he saw was just endless sand with no life.

"Xi, this place is kinda boring," he looked down because all his excitement was squandered on the sand.

"Hahaha, Ken, this just a little bit of the world we're going to live in. There are going to many more vast lands for us to explore," Shen Xi pointed towards the horizon which seemed to contain endless possibilities.

They got off the profound ark as Shen Xi put it back in her storage ring and Ken started playing with the sand. Despite Ken saying it was boring, he still enjoyed as it was a new experience to him. The soft and grainy feeling that fell through his fingers as he tried to hold it.

"Hurry up Ken!" Xi shouted as she started flying towards the nearest city she sensed with her divine sense.

"WAIT!!!!! I CAN'T FLY!!!" Ken shouted when he saw Xi getting further and further away.

'Oops, I forgot that his only 4 years old and doesn't have cultivation yet' while Xi turned around to grab him.

After grabbing him in a princess carry, they flew towards the nearest city.

Once they got close enough that the guards could see them, they start got down and started walking. When they met the guards, the guards froze at the sheer beauty of Shen Xi as everything coloured out of their existence, only leaving Shen Xi with colour.

"uhh... I sjaosd sn," the guards tried to speak but it was like their tongue didn't work in front of such beauty.

Shen Xi giggled at their dazed state which just worsened their state and made them fall for her harder. Ken pulled her arm impatiently then pointed towards the street full of bustling just beyond the gate.

"Sorry boys, cya around," as she headed towards the street. The guards just stood there in a daze for god knows how long.

Shen Xi thought to herself, 'guess I still haven't lost my charm after so many years'. Her pride and vanity were more than satisfied.

As they walked through the streets, everyone stopped what their doing, hoping to have a lifetime of memories of the beautiful woman in front of them. Some walked into walls while others just stood and stared.

"Erm, Xi? Why are all the girls here way uglier than you?" Ken asked with an innocent tone and face that betrayed the ugly question he just asked.

All the girl's expressions twisted into something unimaginable and soon an ocean of killing intent directed at Ken emerged. However, Ken didn't feel anything as Shen Xi blocked all the killing intent.

However, there was one girl that didn't seem to care that she was just insulted, her beauty was not on par with Shen Xi's but she was still young and had a chance of being as beautiful as Shen Xi in the future. She just stood there looking at Shen Xi, a glint flashed in her eye when she saw that Shen Xi and Ken didn't appear to be of this realm.
