The Power of the Dragon Sword Wielder!

After hunting monsters non-stop for almost 20 minutes, Arturo was able to successfully familiarize himself with a few skills from the Dark Dragon Sword and the Fire Dragon Sword.

That is why Arturo was able to take a short break at this moment.

While doing so, he opened the Personal Information tab on his System Interface to check his attributes.

"Not bad!" Arturo said to himself. "Although my Mana Capability Rating is only at C-Rank… My Overall Strength is already at A-Rank! At this rate… I could even start visiting the underworld in just a few days!"

He paused for a few seconds before sighing heavily—seemingly out of disappointment. Then, he said, "If only the other otherworlders are as strong as me right now… We could probably start the attack to the underworld by then!"

"Attacking desperately??? I don't think that it would be a wise move, human!" Light Dragon Wara said. Then, she added, saying, "Otherworlders are yet to get used with the 'laws' of this world! They aren't even able to use the miniscule mana that they have in them… What much more fighting monsters and demons who are able to use their mana since the moment that they were born!"

Arturo could only force out a smile in response and say, "Well… I suppose that you have a point, Wara! My bad!"

'I forgot that things start to unfold differently compared to my previous life!' Arturo thought to himself. 'This time… So far… Otherworlders aren't being treated as cannon fodders… But rather… they were seen as 'foot soldiers' that the Princess, and the Kingdom, could use after a certain degree of training and preparation! Thus… We might end up entering the underworld a bit late but 'more' prepared this time!'

At this moment, Arturo could not help but to steal a glance at Wara and the Light Dragon Sword, before saying, "The Princess might provide a 'development program' for the otherworlders, but… Knowing the ambitions of a Royalty… There's still a huge chance that the otherworlders would be sent to the underworld soon!"

"The Royal Family is not as patient as I am in the first place!" Arturo added.

"And… How were you able to confidently say that, human?" Light Dragon Wara asked in response.

"How???" Arturo chuckled in response before adding, saying, "Well… The Alvar Kingdom has a bit of a 'history' with the demons! And… It's a bit more serious and complicated than what you are probably thinking! Anyway… The attack on the underworld is bound to happen soon! It's just a matter of how long the Royal Family, specifically Princess Anmeerale, would be patient with regards to the otherworlder's development."

"Speaking of patience… WHEN ARE WE GOING TO ATTACK THOSE B@ST@RDS?!" Dark Dragon Milid grumbled in response.

Arturo simply smirked in response before stretching his neck by slightly leaning his head to its sides. Then, he said, "Shall we entertain our 'special' guests?"

"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!" Dark Dragon Milid happily said in celebration.

"Before that… Why don't you guys come out and watch in your dragon form?" Arturo asked Void Dragon Igil, Wind Dragon Aba, and Light Dragon Wara.

"Eh? I thought that you are HIDDING your true strength from the eyes of the humans in that Kingdom?" Dark Dragon Milid asked in confusion.

Arturo simply chuckled in response before saying, "I just thought about it thoroughly… And… It's not like I have any other choice! We are going to face Demons… Not some low-intelligence monsters who only know how to attack!"

"I may have experience and the ability to fight them, but… I don't like the idea of underestimating them!" Arturo said.

"Your choice…" Light Dragon Wara said before transforming into her Young Dragon Form.

Wind Dragon Aba and Void Dragon Igil followed, consequently making all of the Dragon Swords 'unrestrained' and bursting a powerful amount of mana around them.

In fact, Arturo's mana was not even able to conceal their presence anymore—despite spectral wielding the other three Dragon Swords.

Lastly, Arturo unsheathed his Ravi Magne and added it amongst the swords he was spectral wielding. Thus, at this moment, Arturo was wielding the Dark Dragon Sword on his left hand, the Fire Dragon Sword on his right, while the other three Dragon Swords, together with the Ravi Magne, were rotating like a ring behind him.

"Increasing my level was the right decision! I could even barely feel the bombardment of mana from the Dragon Swords!" Arturo said. Then, he glanced to Dark Dragon Milid and said, "Dark Arts… Teleportation!"

In a blink of an eye, Arturo vanished from the forest—leaving the young dragons alone.

"What the?! Oiiiii! You f@cking human! You dare leave with our Kin's Treasures!" Dark Dragon Milid roared before flying at full speed towards the direction where Arturo Teleported.

The other young dragons could only shake their heads in response before following behind Dark Dragon Milid.

"Our master sure knows how to annoy the Dark Dragon!" Fire Dragon Aypo chuckled in response.

A minute earlier… Around 5 Kilometers South of where Arturo was 'farming' monsters… The three demons sat patiently above a gigantic worm-like monster, waiting for Arturo to come.

"When is that descendant going to attack? I mean… We're already waiting here for several minutes! Yet… It seems like he does not have any interest in us!" The tall but seemingly thin guy complained to the ordinary-looking guy named Verte, and the little girl who was holding a teddy bear.

"Just keep your guards up! Who knows when that b@stard is going to attack!" The little girl frowned in response. Then, she added, saying, "He's probably trying to play with our minds… To trick us in attacking first, and baiting us into his trap!"

The ordinary-looking guy named Verte crossed his arms in response before saying, "Ashiene is right, Mackorr! It's not like that descendant could ignore our presence after all!"

"Hayst…" The thin-but seeming tall guy, named Mackorr, could only sigh heavily in response.

But before the three of them could utter another word in the next second, a tremendous amount of mana suddenly burst from where Arturo was located.

Their eyes seemed like they were about to pop out of their sockets in astonishment, while Lesser Demon Verte could only stare in a daze—towards Arturo's location as if he saw a terrifying being for the first time.

However, before they could even activate any skill in preparation for Arturo's potential attack… The origin of the tremendous burst of mana in that forest suddenly appeared right in front of them.

"Hello!" Arturo chuckled. Then, Arturo swung the Fire Dragon sword towards them, before saying, "And… Goodbye!"

Lesser Demon Mackorr 'reactively' swayed his left hand upwards, consequently making four gigantic worm-like monsters shot up from the ground right in front of them—momentarily protecting them from Arturo's strike.

Demon Ashiene used this chance to jump off the gigantic worm-like monster that they were riding—creating some space before throwing her teddy bear to her front.

"Ambernaught!" Demon Ashiene cried as a dark violet aura escapes from her hands, and, eventually, completely enveloping the brown teddy bear.

In the next second, the fluffy brown teddy bear transformed into a gigantic dark red-furred bear with sharp claws and fangs that are as shiny as black metals!

Its eyes glowed bloody red and were glaring—full of killing intent, towards the source of the powerful mana bursting in front of them.

Then, in the next second, its body was enveloped with a thick dark purple aura—allowing the gigantic bear to parry Arturo's strikes.

"RAAAAAAAAAAA!" The gigantic dark red-furred bear roared as it start exchanging attacks with Arturo. It was so loud to the point that Lesser Demon Mackorr and Lesser Demon Verte even had to cover their ears with their own hands.

"F@ck! Let's go underground, Mackorr! Ashiene and her bear are going into carnage mode once again! I don't want to get caught up with that girl's madness!" Lesser Demon Verte said before gripping his hands as tight as he can—consequently concentrating a strong amount of mana around them.

At this moment, the gigantic worm-like monster they were riding dug deep into the ground—with its tail going first.

And before the two lesser demons could hide underground, Lesser Demon Verte swung his arms to the sides—consequently making the bowling ball-looking gloves that were made of black mana, to burst around them.

"Demonic Arts: Mana Corrosion!" Lesser Demon Verte shouted as he and Lesser Demon Mackorr escapes deep into the underground.

The mana in the area started becoming dense—making the mana covering Arturo and the gigantic red-furred bear thinner each second. That said, Both of them were able to 'neutralize' the corrosive effect of the black mana around them by just simply releasing more mana from their own body.

From Arturo's perspective… At this moment, he was able to catch a glimpse of the two lesser demons escaping to the underground. He simply chuckled in response whilst continuously exchanging blows with the gigantic red-furred bear.

'Mana Corrosion? Did that demon think that such amateur skills would work on me?!' Arturo smirked deep inside. Then, he mockingly said deep inside, 'I'll deal with this dog and her pet first... before I take you out of the hole you are hiding!'

"Dark Arts: Mana Absorption!" Arturo chanted before slicing down the Dark Dragon Sword to the 30 feet tall dark red-furred bear.

At the same time, the Black Mana that was enveloping the Dark Dragon Sword was starting to suck up the Mana of the 'gigantic dark red-furred bear' as if it was a vacuum machine specifically designed for any kind of mana.

That said, Arturo did not stop on his attack and was about to stab the Fire Dragon Sword towards the gigantic dark red-furred bear's stomach.

"As if I would allow you to do that!" A small werewolf-looking girl said as she launches an attack—with her claws towards Arturo's right side.

Arturo simply chuckled in response whilst exerting his full strength—to force the Fire Dragon Sword to be swung to his right and parry the claw attack of the small werewolf-looking girl.

Booooooooooooooooong!

A powerful deafening vibration occurred around them as the Fire Dragon Sword's mana and the small werewolf-looking girl's mana clashed at each other.

The ground below them ruptured whilst the clouds were pushed up into the sky—consequently creating a pressure that was akin to that of a suddenly bursting volcano.

In fact… Arturo's own mana was barely able to completely withstand the combined bombardment of powerful mana from the Dragon Swords Behind him, and the pressure that the clash of the Fire Dragon Sword and the werewolf-looking girl's claws made around them.

Blood started to drip out of Arturo's left ear—consequently making the small werewolf-looking girl smirk in response.

"You're still 'young' to be my opponent, Mr. Descendant!" The small werewolf-looking girl said before slicing her other hand towards Arturo.

Arturo simply chuckled in response, before saying, "Fire Arts… Inferno!"

The Fire Dragon Sword suddenly released a tremendous amount of thick Orange Mana—that was several folds greater compared to combined mana that was leaking out from the four swords rotating behind him.

And… Despite not resembling a fire… The thick orange mana that suddenly expanded to their surroundings was hot enough to melt everything around them into 'nothingness' [Author meant that everything disappeared, poof.].

A crater, tens of meters deep and more than a hundred meter in radius, appeared below them—with the soil magically turning into a liquid resembling that of a boiling mud.

On the other hand, the atmosphere around them was so hot to the point that no air nor gas was even able to reach towards them.

Fortunately, Arturo and the small werewolf-looking girl were completely covered by their own mana, thus, allowing them to survive the supposed unsurvivable environment around them.

"Tsk!" The small werewolf-looking girl could only flick her tongue in response and was hopelessly forced to retreat—with her gigantic pet bear, out of the range of the Fire Dragon Sword's Domain Skill [or Field Type Skill], Inferno.

Arturo simply chuckled in response and said, "This is our land, Demons! Find a different target, unless you want us to launch a counter-invasion!"

"Don't think that you've won, human!" The small werewolf-looking girl roared in response. "My Lord won't take this matter lightly!"

"You mean that 'PUPPETEER'? Hahahaha!" Arturo said before bursting into laughter. Then, a few seconds later, he chuckled and said, "Let him come! I'll accompany him on his visit!"

In a snap of the fingers, the small werewolf-looking girl and her gigantic pet bear shot away from Arturo and the Alvar Kingdom—going back towards the location where she came from.

As for the two lesser demons with her… Lesser Demon Mackorr and Lesser Demon Verte were escaping slower underground—with the help of several gigantic worm-like monsters.

"F@ck! Even Ashiene was forced to retreat that easily! Where is that descendant from? Don't tell me that the Heavenly Deities are providing aide to the humans?!" Lesser Demon Verte grumbled out of distress.

"Who knows!" Lesser Demon Mackorr said in a trembling voice. "I just know that… Descendants are beings that we, lesser demons, should not mess with!"

Lesser Demon Verte nodded in agreement before saying, "Not only was he not affected by my corrosion… He was even able to easily defend against Ambernaught!"

"That f@cking bear tore a lot of my pets… And that descendant was able to resist its attacks with ease! I don't want to say this but… Without that bear… We would have become roasted meat by now!" Lesser Demon Mackorr could only force out a smile in response.

"Oh, no! I don't eat demon's meat!" An unknown voice chuckled in response.

"Who the f@ck—!" The two lesser demons cursed whilst glancing around them in panic.

However, before they could even utter another word, a sword suddenly pierced through their chest—making them resemble that of a meat skewer.

And before the two lesser demons could even react or know who attacked them, they suddenly find themselves back above the forest—hanging by the scaly blades of a gray-colored sword that pierced through their chest.

When they glanced towards the direction of the wielder of the sword, they were greeted by Arturo's smile and another 'same design' but was a white-colored sword.

Arturo chuckled before saying, "Don't worry… I am not going to eat you! I am just GOING TO PLAY WITH YOUR SOULS!"

Arturo sliced the Light Dragon Sword through their necks—killing the two lesser demons in an instant. Then, he glanced towards Light Dragon Wara—who nodded towards him in response, before he said, "Light Arts… Soul Purification!"

The corpse of the two lesser demons starts to turn into white-colored mana and were being sucked into the swirling white mana on the Light Dragon Sword's blade.

At this moment, two loud cries echoed around Arturo as the swirling white mana becomes brighter each second—bright enough to even make Arturo let go of the Void Dragon Sword on his left hand and use it to cover his eyes.

Fwooosh!

A soft breeze of wind blew past him and his surroundings—as the loud cries also vanished. Then, as Arturo recovers his hazy vision due to the bright light, he was greeted by a ring made of bones and a black glove—specifically for the right hand only, that was levitating right in front of him.

The ring was enveloped by dark grayish mana while the black glove was enveloped by thick black mana. Both of them had unknown letterings engraved in them that were both glowing in white.

"You should have used the Dark Dragon Sword and turned them into undead servants, st@pid human!" Dark Dragon Milid scolded Arturo.

Arturo simply chuckled in response and said, "There's always a next time…"

Hi guys, Author here.

Sorry for the VERY VERY long chapter. XD

I tried to check where I can split it in half, but... I think it was best to release it in a single chapter than two separate ones.

This fight scene was a great challenge to write for me, so, hope you guys enjoyed it!

Anyway... Tell me guys what you think about Arturo in the comment section.

Do you think that he needs to be nerfed, or do you think that it is only to be expected for him to be this strong since he was an S-Rank Adventurer in his past life in the first place? xD

...

Again, don't forget to add the novel to your Library, so that you would get notified when a chapter gets updated.

Thanks and see you all in the next chapter!
