24 An Unexpected Revelation?

Arturo switched the Dark Dragon Sword and the Fire Dragon Sword with the Void Dragon Sword and his Ravi Magne. Then, Using Ravi Magne, Arturo cleared the boulders that collapsed and was blocking the entrance of the Mining Cave.

"This is an abandoned Mining Area by a Merchant from the Alvar Kingdom. Probably because they thought that they were already able to 'harvest' every ore that they could from this site! Well... They 'thought' it was!" Arturo chuckled.

"Our Ancestors gave the humans a great plot of land to use… But… It seems like they lack 'sufficient' knowledge to take advantage of it!" Void Dragon said coldly in response.

"It can't be helped, Igil!" Arturo said. "Humans… Like me… We're just mere pawns in the eyes of your Ancestors in the first place! We were only supposed to know how to fight and survive!"

"But that does not mean that you, humans, would be 'this' ignorant of the 'gifts' of our Ancestors!" Wind Dragon Aba sighed in disappointment in response.

"Anyway…" Arturo paused for a second—sighing. Then, he added, saying, "Why does it seems like you guys are blaming me for humanity's failure to capitalize the gifts of your ancestors and gain strength to fend off the Demons?"

"If you are going to blame someone for humanity's regression in the past century in this world… You should be telling that to the Emperors and Kings—who only cares about their own territories' welfare and interest!" He grumbled.

Dark Dragon Milid simply chuckled in response. Then, she said, "If you know that much, human… Why only start making a move against the Demons just now? Don't tell me that you got a 'sheety' reason—like being stuck in a library since you were born? Because… As far as I am concerned… Your combat prowess is better than any of the Knights that we encountered so far in 'that' Kingdom!"

"It can't be helped, Milid!" Arturo said. Then, he stopped in his tracks and exhale heavily before saying, "I am an OTHERWORLDER too, after all!"

The Five Dragons could only glance towards Arturo in astonishment.

"Oi, Oi! Stop spouting nonsense, human! Jokes like that aren't funny!" Dark Dragon Milid said before forcing out a smile—to seemingly break the tense atmosphere around them.

"I am not joking!" Arturo said. Then, he explained, "Didn't you guys notice that I am way too familiar with the otherworlders—including how to properly manage them, despite being able to interact with them for just a few hours? That fact alone should have given away the truth about my identity from the start!"

"B-But… If you are an otherworlder… How were you able to know 'things' about this world in the first place?!" Fire Dragon Aypo asked angrily in response.

Arturo simply smirked evilly in response before saying, "That's… a secret!"

Arturo burst into laughter—consequently confusing the five dragons even further.

Fortunately, Arturo cleared up their 'confusion' by explaining to the dragons, saying, "I apologize to all of you, but… I can't really tell you guys why I know a lot of things!"

"All you guys just needed to know is that, one, I am otherworlder—amongst the recently 'Mass Summoned Humans' all over the world… And, second… I am not only knowledgeable but also familiar with a thing or two about this world!" Arturo said before he smiled.

"So… You're not joking, human?" Dark Dragon Milid asked in a serious tone.

Arturo simply nodded in response before walking once again and saying, "Well… Whether you believe me or not… It's up to you! I just told you guys my secret because… You guys are already 'in a way' a part of me too!"

"That said… I would appreciate it if you guys would keep this a secret amongst us!" Arturo added. "It's not like you guys would be able to interact with anyone, nor do the original dwellers from the Alvar Kingdom actually know about my background in the first place, but… Just to be safe… Let's keep it a secret among us!"

"Well… Like you said, human… It's not like we'd be talking to those weak @ss in the first place! So… Don't worry!" Dark Dragon Milid Chuckled in response. Then, she added, saying, "But… If anyone was to know about your secret… It's not like we can't 'take care' of them too, right?"

Arturo simply laughed in response before saying, "Don't tell me that you'd want to turn 'them' into my undead servants—if that happened!"

"Hehe… It seems like you already know how to make me smile, human!" Dark Dragon Milid said in response.

"Well… It's not a bad idea anyway!" Arturo said before his face wore an evil smile.

On the other hand… The other four dragons simply remain silent at that moment. It took them several more minutes to be able to 'process' what Arturo revealed to them. And since Arturo kept emphasizing that he won't 'reveal' any information beyond that, they simply accepted what Arturo said and did not pry any further on that matter.

After all… What's important to them is their goal, not Arturo's 'real identity' or whatsoever.

And… Truth be told, Arturo wanted to hide everything about him from everyone else as much as possible. Not only to the dragons but also to the original dwellers—including Princess Anmeerale and the rest of the Royal Family.

However, Arturo knew that it is only a matter of time before 'the truth'—that he was also an otherworlder, would be revealed. So, it was not that much of an issue for Arturo to reveal that part of his identity.

On a positive note… Arturo was able to show his trust to the Dragons by telling them 'that' truth before anyone else. This, of which, would have a good effect on his relationship with them.

Going back to the story…

Arturo and the dragons took almost half an hour to reach the end of the cave. Unfortunately, up until that place, they were not able to encounter any decent chunk of metal ore of any kind.

"As expected of merchants! There's not a single 'profitable' ore that was left behind!" Arturo said before forcing out a smile. Then, he scratched the back of his head and sighed before saying, "I guess… It's time to do some work!"

With the help of Ravi Magne, Arturo was able to easily transport the excavated rocks and soil out of the mining cave.

Unfortunately, Arturo had to do the excavation and digging with his two hands—which was coated by his own mana for protection and reduction of the fatigue that he might feel.

Hours Later…

"Ora, Ora, Ora!" Arturo dug as fast as he can like a hungry dog.

"Go, Go, Go, Go human! You're getting closer to the 'great' minerals you are looking for!" Dark Dragon Milid cheered on the sidelines.

"YOU'VE BEEN SAYING THAT SINCE THE BEGINNING, MILID! It's been an hour, and yet… I am not even able to encounter a single piece of Diamanite Ore!" Arturo shouted in response.

"Is it my fault that you are not contented with the Ordinary Ironite, Black Ironite, Goldite, and Emeralite that you already have?!" Dark Dragon Milid shouted in response. Then, she chuckled before saying, "If you really want to find one of the most durable metal ores in this world… You've got to just keep digging until you obtain one! That's why I've been telling you that 'you're getting closer' from the start, human! Hahaha!"

"Tsk!" Arturo could only bitterly bite his lips in response and continue digging deep into the ground.

In the end…

Arturo wasn't able to find any Diamanite nor any of the 'most durable' metals in the world of Larwan.

Although he can still continue to dig deep into the ground, his inventory already reached its limit capacity of 100. Thus, he had no choice but to stop digging for now.

[47 slots were occupied by artifacts, 1 slot was occupied by the 11 Blank Dagger Artifacts, 1 slot was allotted for his Golden Badge, and the 51 slots remaining on his inventory were filled with max stacks of different ores that he was able to excavate.]

He simply clogged the cave with soil and rock before going back outside. That way, no monsters nor other people would be able to infiltrate his 'mining area'.

Well… Moving of Soil and Rocks were easy with the use of Ravi Magne's gravitation skills in the first place.

Moving on…

As Arturo finished clogging back his mining cave outside, the 'Sun' of the world of Larwan was already about to rise.

Arturo could not help but yawn, before saying, "It's morning already? I wonder if the demonic followers had made a move already? I guess I have to visit the black market for some info! It would also be a good chance to buy a 'personal assistant' or two."
