14 Nervous Lea

*The Real World*

"Hey pass me your timetable let's see which class you are in" Liam said taking the paper from Lea's hand. "We are in the same class"

"Is it so?"

"Yes, that's nice"

"Hope so..."

"Why? You don't like it?" Liam asked with a frown on his face.

"Have you looked around you Mr. Perfect? All the girls around have been throwing daggers at me where ever we walk since the time we left canteen. It's like they want to straggle me if they are given one single chance. Looks like someone is way too popular..." Lea said with a small smile on her face.

Hearing her words Liam just started laughing as they walked towards the class. The corridor was empty as it was near the library and it was almost time to class.

Hearing him laugh Lea stopped walking and said, what are you laughing at ha? I am just stating the truth here. You should have observed those looks those girls were giving me it felt like they want to kill me this very moment.

Do you know how difficult it was for me to keep myself composed till now?

Liam stopped laughing moved closer to her and directly looked directly into her blue eyes which were as deep as ocean for a few seconds and asked her so you think I am Mr. Perfect? with a smile on his face.

Lea gulped in some saliva at the close proximity at which they were standing in. His masculine cent mixed with a flavor of mint coming from him smelled so good. She could not think straight as she looked back at his face which had such definite features, his silky black hair and his black eyes which looked like a black hole that was sucking in all her ability to think. She blurted out "I di...I did not mean that..".

"Stop distracting me and try changing the topic" she spoke in one go and turned towards the other side. She knew her face would have become red like a tomato now. She felt embarrassed. What just happened to her she never behaved like this...

Liam just started laughing again moving away from her then made her turn towards him and said "I am really sorry".

He said "You don't have to worry about those stupid girls, they are just jealous of you. I actually don't speak much with the other girls accept for our friends and another few in college. You just came today and I am being so friendly with you they are not able to digest it as they have tried a lot to get close to me in the past".

"Is it so? Why the special treatment to me then" Lea asked. She had calmed herself now.

'I myself don't know exactly but I just feel you are different and I..' many other thoughts were running in his mind now but he could not say those to her as they had just met each other. He said "You are my good friend's friend so now that you are in our college you are my friend too".

Both just smiled at each other and walked silently towards the class as the classes were about to began.

What both of them did not notice due to their state of mind was that someone was watching the whole interaction that was happening intently hiding in the shadows.
