9 The First Revenge

Chapter 9: The First Revenge

Reluctantly, Sam felt compelled to share the information with Zain, fully aware of the potential consequences. Despite Sam's attempts to dissuade him, Zain stormed off with a determined and fierce expression, heedless of the cautionary words echoing in his ears, "Zain! Don't make a decision you'll regret!"

Ignoring Sam's pleas, Zain's fury propelled him forward with reckless abandon. The raw power within him surged violently, fueled by his unstable emotions, threatening to consume him completely.

In that pivotal moment, Zain's mind surged with a daring thought — it was the perfect opportunity to test the limits of his newfound powers.

With a focused determination, he channeled the raw energy into his legs, feeling it surge through his every fiber. As his strides became infused with supernatural strength, his speed escalated, propelling him forward like a bolt of lightning, leaving a trail of awe and astonishment in his wake.

'Schein! Just you wait... I'm coming!'

As the lunch break descended upon the high school, the bustling corridors echoed with a multitude of choices.

Some students flocked to the inviting aroma of the cafeteria, eager to satisfy their appetites with a savory meal.

Others found solace within the confines of their classrooms, engrossed in conversations or studying diligently. A select few sought refuge in secluded corners, seeking respite on the rooftop or other hidden nooks that whispered secrets and offered moments of tranquility.

Zain strode into the campus driven by an unwavering resolve, his gaze scanning the surroundings in search of Schein.

Unbeknownst to him, an eerie black light seemed to emanate from his eyes, casting an unsettling glow. The intensity in his stare hinted at a hidden power simmering beneath the surface, fueling his relentless pursuit.

As Zain passed by, a wave of unease rippled through the students standing in his path.

Their bodies involuntarily quivered, unable to comprehend the source of their sudden trembling. Despite their confusion, the inexplicable sensation continued to course through them, like a chill wind on a sweltering day.

The teachers' senses heightened as they detected an abrupt shift in atmospheric pressure, causing them to pause in their tracks. The air seemed to thicken and carry an inexplicable weight, leaving them with an uneasy feeling.

Zain marched purposefully towards his classroom, pushing aside any students who dared to get in his way. As he entered the room, he scanned it quickly, his eyes darting from face to face, searching for Schein.

"Huh? That punk is back?" the guy who had earlier obstructed Zain's path laughed mockingly as Zain slid the classroom door open.

"Where is Schein?" Zain asked, only to be met with the boy's escalating laughter, mocking his question further.

Unfazed by their mockery, Zain paid no mind to them, for deep down he held a confident understanding of the answer to his own question.

Schein, a notorious bully who rarely showed up for class, had a penchant for the rooftop. It was his domain, where he would indulge in either idling away his time or tormenting another hapless student.

He swiftly slid the door shut behind him and wasted no time as he rushed towards the stairs, ascending them with agility.

"So, you were here...," Zain's voice resonated with anger as he finally spotted Schein seated on the rooftop.

With his hair casting a shadow that concealed his face, Zain approached Schein with deliberate steps, his presence exuding an aura of intensity.

Veiled behind a veil of shadows, Zain's eyes remained hidden, intensifying the already somber atmosphere that enveloped him. With a profound seriousness etched upon his face, he exuded an aura of ironclad resolution amidst the gloom.

"Oh my, look at who has—" His words were abruptly silenced as Zain swiftly closed the distance between them, nimble as a bolt of lightning in his dexterity.

In a flash, his right fist collided with Schein's face, unleashing a devastating blow fueled by an ominous black aura that engulfed the vicinity.

*BAM*

The force behind Zain's punch was immense, propelling Schein backwards with tremendous velocity. He crashed into the sturdy metal grill behind him, the impact causing a resounding clang that echoed through the air.

Blood gushed from Schein's mouth in a torrent, mingling with the intensity of his pain and shock.

Schein's face bore the marks of Zain's devastating blow. Several of his teeth were shattered, leaving behind bloody fragments. His once handsome features were now distorted and swollen, his skin a fiery shade of red. The pain and humiliation were etched on his contorted face.

Zain's eyes locked onto Schein's, the black aura surrounding him still pulsing with power. "Prank about my family again and I swear to God, I'll kill you," he growled, his voice low and menacing. The threat was clear, and Schein knew better than to mess with Zain any further.

The other boys who had been sitting with Schein were instantly overcome with fear as they witnessed Zain's formidable presence.

The intense aura emanating from him was suffocating, causing some of them to tremble uncontrollably. Some of them even felt their bladders give way, causing them to wet their pants in terror.

Zain turned away from the rooftop, believing he had resolved the issue at hand. Little did he know that his actions would set off a chain of events that would haunt him for the rest of his life. The weight of regret would bear heavily on his shoulders, an eternal reminder of the unintended consequences that awaited him.

*Ring Ring*

"Hello..."

"You want us to kill them?"

"Very well..."

Schein hailed from a prestigious and affluent family, deeply entwined with the dark underbelly of the country. Their extensive connections with the underworld, particularly the influential mafia, granted them immense power and influence.

Unbeknownst to Zain, his act of revenge was not forgotten by Schein. Little did Zain realize that he had ignited a seething grudge within Schein's heart, a grudge that would simmer and fuel a burning desire for retribution.

Zain could never have fathomed the extent to which Schein was willing to go to exact his revenge and bring about Zain's complete and devastating loss.

"Phew... now I feel better..." Zain took a deep breath as he escaped from the rooftop. He started walking towards his home, his mind still reeling from the events that had just transpired.

"I need to thank Uncle for tracing the phone and letting me know of the place," Zain muttered to himself. He changed his direction and headed straight towards the center where he had visited earlier. The intensity in his stride conveyed both his appreciation and his eagerness to demonstrate it.

Zain cautiously stepped inside the center, his heart racing with anticipation. But as soon as he entered, his eyes widened in shock and horror. The place was in complete disarray.

Tables and chairs were overturned, papers scattered all over the floor, and the computer screens were shattered. It was evident that someone had ransacked the place.

'Just what happened here…?'

"Uncle! Are you inside?" Zain shouted, his voice echoing through the empty surroundings. There was no response, only an eerie silence. What he saw left him completely stunned, frozen in disbelief.

Zain's voice trembled as he whispered in disbelief, "What... what is this?" His steps faltered, but he pushed forward, determined to find answers amidst the devastating scene. With every cautious step, the weight of the tragedy bore down on him.

The scene before Zain was nothing short of a gruesome nightmare. The once orderly room was now a macabre display of violence and bloodshed.

Lifeless bodies of the officers who had been there earlier lay sprawled across the floor, their lifeblood staining the surroundings in dark crimson. The walls were splattered with blood, and the walls of the center bore the marks of a violent struggle. Zain's heart pounded in his chest as he surveyed the grim scene, trying to make sense of the brutality that had taken place.

He reached his uncle's cabin, the door slightly ajar, as if a violent force had ripped it open. Zain's breath caught in his throat as he beheld the horrifying sight before him. His stomach churned, and an uncontrollable wave of nausea surged through him.

Unable to contain it any longer, he retched, his body convulsing as he emptied the contents of his stomach onto the floor.

The sight was beyond comprehension. His beloved uncle, whom he had looked up to for guidance and support, had been mercilessly dismembered.

Each severed body part was meticulously arranged, as if showcasing a grotesque exhibit. The sheer brutality and depravity of the act overwhelmed Zain, shattering his innocence and plunging him into a dark abyss of sorrow and rage.

A cruelty similar to that of heaven, he had found it yet again.

A surge of urgency coursed through Zain's veins as his thoughts raced back to his mother. Something deep within him compelled him to reach her side without delay. Ignoring the chaos that engulfed him, he sprinted towards his home, each stride propelled forward by relentless drive.

As Zain drew closer to his home, his heart sank at the sight of a large gathering of people congregated in front of the house. His instincts screamed that something was terribly wrong. His strides quickened, his eyes scanning the crowd for any sign of his mother. Fear gripped his chest, tightening its hold with each passing second.
