Chapter 1: Lennon

[Heavenly Spirit Realm: Demon Beast Forest]

The sky was clear and everything seem to be the embodiment of tranquility. Until today. Roar. A roar resounded, Tree's trembled and the ground shook. It was at this moment a voice resounded." Don't run little boar. I won't eat ya.!!" There was a boy running behind, chasing after four wild boar. He had golden eyes, hair and white clothing with golden patterns on them.

He was the only human on this Forest. He would occasionally hunt beasts and eat them at first, but as time went by Lennon awakened some memories. The memories were about the world, the sects in the world, the demon beasts, physiques, spiritual plants and treasures and cultivation and his own innate abilities. He had found out that he had that there were two abilities on his body. They were, 'Devour'and 'Absolute Purification'. He was stupified by them at first since he didn't know were they came from.

The Devour Ability can devour anything that has energy and the absolute purification Ability can purify anything that he devours. Both abilities operated based on his cultivation. He was now 15 and with his two abilities, strengthen his body. At first, he found a dying demon beast and placed his hand on it's wound. At that time, he saw it. The Demon Beast blood was sucked out of it's corpse completely and was purified by his body.

At the same time, the demon beast's purified blood fused with his own blood and strengthened his body. It has to be said that, Demon Beast Blood can be used to Temper the body, but it is extremely dangerous. The blood of a demon beast can devour your own blood and take over your body turning you into a mindless beast.

That's why, the sects would use spiritual plants to weaken the beast will on the blood. In truth, there are three ways to Temper the body. One is to use the Qi in the world to Temper your body, Two is to use Spiritual Plants and three is to use Demon Beast Blood to Temper the body. The third is the most powerful and Dangerous method though.

After absorbing the Demon Beast Blood, his purification Ability purified it and removed the impurities including the Consciousness of the demon beast blood. That was how he was able to survive. He didn't have to worry about being taken over. He devoured the blood of many low level demon beasts and cooked the other parts with a fire core he got from a fire attribute demonic beast. Now he was running chasing four demonic wild boars.

His cultivation had grown from the First Level of Body Tempering Realm to the the second level. The body Tempering Realm has nine minor stages. Stage 1 to 2 is Blood Refinement, Stage 3 to 4 is Marrow Cleansing, 5 to 6 is Muscle Refinement, stage 7 to 8 is Meridian Refinement and lastly, the ninth stage is Complete Refinement. Now Lennon was at the Second Stage, which is the peak of blood Refinement. He only needed to start refining his marrow and would automatically enter the third stage.

Lennon chased over the wild boars for a full hour before killing two with one punch to the heard. His physical strength was amazingly high. After killing the demon beasts, his clothes were red and smelled blood. He devoured the beast blood and purified it.

Then he continued to roast the meat. As he roasted the meat, a change happened to his body. His blood which was on a low level, started upgrading. Cells strengthened and evolved slowly. Black blood flowed out of his body steadily. These were his body's impurities from dead blood cells, illness causing bacteria and human diseases. They were all flushed out of his body. But that was not the end of it. His bone marrow started to tingle.

It was the sign of marrow cleaning. This process however, was very slow. It was also at this moment that Lennon realized something. Blood can refine the whole body, except the bones. It's not that it can't refine the bones, but it is too hard to do it. However, using the bone marrow of demon beasts was great at refining his own bone marrow.

That is why Lennon chose to hunt down many beasts at a higher level and absorb their bone marrow. And that's what he did. For the next few days, he killed thirty mid-grade demon beasts and two high grade beasts. This was an impressive feat, since a Rank 1 Low Grade Demon beast can fight people from the first Stage to the Forth Stage of Body Tempering Realm. The Rank 1 Mid-grade demon beast can fight, from the 5th Stage to the 8th Stage, while the Rank 1 High-Grade Demon Beast can fight the 9th Stage to the First Stage.

If cultivators knew of this, they would be shocked to the core. Based of his cultivation, he should at least fight Low-Grade Demon Beast. But here he is killing High-Grade Demon beasts. It is terrifying. That was all because he still continued to Temper his blood even after reaching the peak of blood Refinement and entering bone marrow cleansing. He didn't know what his physique was but he felt like it was amazing.

At this moment, next to him, there was a pile of fresh bones. These bones were all bones of demonic beasts. There were demon boars, tigers, leopards, turtles and snakes. The turtles had strong defense and hard to beat.

Lennon used the strong sturdy turtle shell as a bathtub and poured all the bone marrow inside it, then used a stick to mix it together. When it was completely mixed, Lennon entered inside with his body. It was also at this moment that he felt his body open up pores and beads of sweat rushed his face.

It was time for his breakthrough to complete his entry to the third stage.
