2 2. Reuniting with Mike

So to my surprise I was inside the virtual reality for the 10.000 Pioneers. I was surrounded of a lot of confused people, which some were in shock or being unable to process what was happening as we had no explanation, and we will not for the first 20 minutes.

For me, the first thought was of surprise since I did not have this opportunity last time. Afterward, as soon as I processed what was happening the next second was looking for Mike, but as there were a lot of people in one place it was a nearly impossible task. Next, I was getting nervous as he will not know me until he used the recall stone I was holding in my hand as if it was a treasure.

After trying to calm down, I remembered that you could send not only messages through Link, you could also send objects as long as you know the complete name of the receiver and the object is something obtained though Link. So I opened Link, which appeared in my wrist after arriving and opened the mail, attached the recall stone and I mailed to Mike together with the message:

'Open the package attached, use it and you will remember who I am. To open the package and use the object you only need to have the intention to do so and the bracelet you have will help you'

After 5 minutes as soon as I saw he opened the package, I send another message: 'Where are you now? Near what are you now? I want to see you again!!!'

As soon as I send the message I got a reply instantly: 'Go the farthest of the central pillar at the end of the people, it will be easier to find each other. I have a lot to ask you Zacky!'

As I read the message I knew he remembers me now, as he was the only to call me Zacky so I got relieved. It was like a huge boulder got off my shoulders in an instant and started crying as I made way to the end of the crowd of people as I could. As there was too few space between them until I got to the end it was quite taxing to make way in that crowd of people.

As soon as I got to the end I started searching frantically until I saw Mike making way out of the crowd, so I started sprinting to him. I ended throwing myself into him in a huge hug as I started to cry, cry and cry!

I was watching TV at home, when I appeared in a completely different place crowded of people as disoriented as I was. As I tried to calm down my first thought was 'it would be nice to have a map to know where I am', and as a response I had a mechanical voice that said 'The map function is currently locked, you don't meet the necessary conditions to unlocking'. So I nearly freaked out when I received another message that said to me: 'You received a new message, go to the mail to open it', so my thought was maybe there was an explanation of what was happening inside this mail so I searched for the mail function and opened as I will it.

The mail was from someone called Zack, I don't remember knowing someone with that name but I wouldn't lose anything for opening it and maybe he had some answers so I opened.

The mail said: 'Open the package attached, use it and you will remember who I am. To open the package and to use the object you only need to have the intention to do so and the bracelet you have will help you'.

I got more confused as I saw the message, but he promised me answers as soon I open the package so I did as he said. The bracelet mentioned that was my recall stone and if I wanted to use it. As I read the notice I got more and more confused as I don't remember the stone being mine, but for some reason I got sad as I saw the stone as If I had lost someone important and close to me so as I was muddleheaded I said yes.

As I said yes I started reliving all my life, and were we arrived at the actual moment, the memories continued as if the future was the past until I arrived at the memory of me about to die and giving a gem and this recall stone to Zack, my boyfriend.

As I was opening my eyes a lot of things started to make sense as the extra memories of the recall stone were as if there were something I forgot and I recalled them, as if there were always there. In the end they were my memories so they felt natural for me, in the end the mail was starting to make sense as well as who Zack is.

But as soon as some questions got their answers, I had new questions:

-How come my Zacky knows me at this period of time?

-Why does he have my recall stone, as I won't gift it to him until I was about to die?

-How he came inside the virtual reality for the Pioneers as he last time wasn't?

-If he remembers me dying, how is he feeling now? Is he sad?

-Where is he between all this people crowding the place?

As soon I was having endless questions and I started to get myself concerned in his wellbeing, I received another message from him that said: 'Where are you now? Near what are you now? I want to see you again!!!' As I read the message I threw all my thoughts to the bin and I instinctly wrote a reply as I was trying to make way to the end of the crowd: 'Go the farthest of the central pillar at the end of the people, it will be easier to find each other. I have a lot to ask you Zacky!'

It took me a lot of effort to get through that crowd of people as most of them weren't even in their right state of mind, as all what was happening was too sudden and most hadn't had enough time to calm down.

As I was about to sigh of relief for finally going to be out of the crowd, I nearly lost my balance as someone impacted into me. I looked what impacted into me as it was not moving an inch from my side and started hugging me. To my surprise I saw a younger version of my Zacky crying as if there was no tomorrow.

I sighted a sigh of relive as soon as I identified him. But as he wasn't stopping crying, I patted his head until he calmed down. I got relived as I saw him smiling as he was trying to end his cry, as I knew that even though he was younger he was still my Zacky.

As soon as I saw him calming down I asked: 'Are you okay?' while I caressed his cheeks wiping his last tears.

Zack: 'Much better, Mikey' while I got relieved as I saw the same Mike I know in a younger version of him.

Mike: 'Can you explain what happened?'

Zack: 'A couple of minutes after you died I got killed and I woke up in January, just a week before school's second semester, with your recall stone and the ashes of the gem you gifted me.'

Mike: 'Why didn't you find me before?'

Zack: 'I didn't know where to find you except your university, so I studied like crazy so I could get admitted there.'

Mike: 'You didn't try to find me online?'

Zack: 'Are you famous now?'

Mike: 'Not, but my mother is a famous singer.'

Zack: 'You only told me she was a singer, not that she was famous!' as I pouted.

Mike: 'Okay, okay, you've done your best. Thank you.'

Zack: 'What's there to thank. I did it because I wanted to see you as soon as possible. So the recall stone let you see your memories like a video or as if you lived them?' as I started to get nervous.

Mike: 'As if I lived them silly, they are my own memories in the end!' as I started laughing seeing him acting cute.

Zack: 'I love you! And I am sticking to you like glue from now on.'

Mike: 'Better for me, like this I won't have worry for you every second. By the way where were you before appearing here?'

Zack: 'In the school dormitory admiring my graduate certificate and the final marks that I received yesterday. I was about to start packing when I appeared here, I guess someone got kicked out of the Pioneers.'

Mike: 'I guess so, but I am glad for it. This time I won't be throwing away the opportunity and I can be with you.'

Zack: 'So when is going to start it's been nearly 20 minutes since we arrived.'

Mike: 'Then I guess it's about to start.'
