10 10. The morning in the workshop

They finished with the scout and merchant jobs in record time as they only needed 10 minutes for profession. As they finished, they decided to go to the carpenter one as they would be the only one that is not difficult to acquire for both but it also is the only one they don't won't have to delve in it either much time.

Mike: 'Had you tried the carpenter work before?'

Zack: 'Not, I didn't have the chance, but it shouldn't be quite difficult. Well I remember that as we run from the Sharkdokin we created a lot of expendable throwable wooden spears with a knife. Would that count as experience?'

Mike: 'I don't think so, as at that time we only sharpened branches and we called them throwable spears. My case can be said to be the same as I hadn't acquired the job last time too.'

Zack: 'Well it shouldn't be difficult as it says that we have to create a functional bow, some arrows and some throwable spears. The spears I suppose that they have to be a little bit better that the ones we used to make.'

Mike: 'I guess here the hard time would be to put the rope to create the bow, so it becomes functional.'

Zack: 'Well we still have a lot of time, you can see that we are nearly the only ones in the workshops at this hour. And I bet that the few people here are because they got to bed in the beginning of the afternoon.'

Mike: 'Now that we have already got the carpenter job which one you suggest we do?'

Zack: 'I would suggest the artist one before someone else comes and gets to laugh at us for not doing it well.'

Mike: 'Yes, we better make it quick. If my mother knows I tried modelling she would be excited, but if she were to see how it became I would get a big scolding for not taking it seriously enough, better she doesn't know never!'

Zack: 'Now that I remember, you said she was a singer.'

Mike: 'Yes, she is. And she takes very seriously anything related to his professional life.'

Zack: 'So we have to get 3 photos while modelling and a dance.'

Mike: 'Would you do me the honour to dance with me?'

Zack: 'It would be my pleasure!'

So they danced together until Link acknowledged they complete the requisites to get the job. And even though they got the job, they took the opportunity to have fun and distract themselves for a moment while dancing, and thus have a good laugh.

So while they had their fun someone entered the workshop out of curiosity, but seeing them having that much fun dancing he started daydreaming looking at them. So without his notice, Zack and Mike stopped dancing and walked to him.

Mike: 'Seems we've got an audience.'

Zack: 'Yeah, but he doesn't seems to be looking at us anymore. Doesn't he look like he is daydreaming?'

Mike: 'Hello? Hello?' he got in front of the stranger and waved his hand in front of his face.

Danny: 'Ahhh! You almost got me a heart attack.' while trying to calm down.

Zack: 'Well, you were daydreaming while seeing us dancing.' said in amused tone.

Danny: 'Yeah, you got me there. It's been quite a while since I have been able to relax and have fun as you were doing so I got quite emotional.'

Zack: 'No kidding, with the entry university exams when we return! Don't make me remember it!'

Mike: 'Now that you mention it, the exams will be a problem depending on how much time we will be spending here.'

Danny: 'Now that you mention, it said in the library about the Pioneers virtual reality we are, that we will spent more than a year here and it would only be 5 minutes in reality. So when we return it would have been more than a year since we studied for the exams. It would be a true nightmare!'

Zack: 'I guess we will have to do a global study session for all pioneers for the exam before we get out.'

Mike: 'Well, we still have more than a year of time, so to change the topic... What were you doing here this early in the morning? Honestly, we thought nobody would woke up this early.'

Danny: 'Well it's been weeks studying for the exams without a proper rest, so as soon as we arrived I visited the hospital to get my vision fixed. In there the result I had was that I was too exhausted and that I should rest, so since I had my vision fixed I decided to visit the dormitories which I slept all day till morning. This morning the only place I hadn't visit yet is the workshops, so here I am.'

Zack: 'So you still haven't got to the wildness outside?'

Danny: 'Not a chance! And yesterday walking out of the hospital it was said that it was quite dangerous, so not.'

Mike: 'Well you will have to go if you are hungry, since is the only place to get food from.'

Danny: 'Really? Then I'm screwed, since I haven't eaten since yesterday.'

Mike: 'The first day should be tough for everyone, but I guess it's not difficult to harvest a few fruits.'

Danny: 'I guess I will have to go there first to get some, so I can have breakfast...' said in a depressed tone.

Zack: 'We can give you some of ours, but you should come to terms that you will have to go in order to have something for lunch.'

Danny: 'Thanks, you are an angel! Do you have any recommendations for me from where to start from? By the way I'm Danny nice to meet you.'

Mike: 'I'm Mike and he is my boyfriend Zack. And about recommendation, I would start with acquiring the must list skills.'

Danny: 'Why?'

Mike: 'Because is the easiest way to acquire money without going in the wildness. There is a quest that if you acquire all the must skills you will receive money, and to level up Link one of the requisites is having acquired 10 job skills, it's the most efficient way.'

Danny: 'By the way, why do you emphasize that much about money?'

Zack: 'Because as you said the wildness is dangerous, so better have money to buy a weapon before going out. Don't you think so?'

Danny: 'That's true, but I've never touch a weapon before...'

Mike: 'Then would you like to have a heavy weapon or a light one, or do you want to fight at a distance or close to you, do you want to slash or stab?'

Danny: 'Mmm, I would prefer with some distance, but I don't think archery would fit me. And is there a weapon that I can stab and slash? And I don't think a heavy weapon would fit me, but a light one won't either.'

Mike: 'Then I think a large weapon like a spear would fit you, but since you want to slash as well as stab you'll have to look for the different types of pole arms.'

Danny: 'Thanks, that's a good way to start choosing a weapon, since there were hundreds or thousands of different weapons I didn't know where to start choosing from.'

Zack: 'I guess that's why most choose from: one handed sword, two handed sword, spear, bow & arrows and daggers. By the way a dagger is always useful, so remember to buy one.'

Danny: 'A dagger? But I don't want to fight up close...'

Mike: 'It's not to fight. A dagger is always useful when you have to cut something, being branches, plants or to cut the parts of an animal like its nails that are usually quite useful between many other things. It's quite versatile and useful.'

Danny: 'Then it's decided a dagger and a pole-arm, but before acquire the must list skills to have the money to buy them. Thanks.'

Zack: 'Remember to buy a water-sack and it wouldn't be bad to buy proper shoes as well as a bag to everything you harvest till you manage to find a space stone to unlock the Link's spatial inventory.'

Danny: 'True, I don't think I would go anywhere with slippers. By the way what is this spatial inventory you speak of?'

Mike: 'In Link there are some apps that have prerequisites to unlock them. In this case the spatial storage is one of them in which you have different sizes depending of the quantity of space stones you exchange for it.'

Zack: 'If you guide yourself from the quests, you won't miss anything important. And you should start cultivating asap if you want to survive in the wildness. Here, some fruits to eat for breakfast. Good luck!'

Danny: 'Thanks, goodbye!'

Mike: 'Shall we finish the artist job?'

Zack: 'Yes, let's!'

So they started making photos of themselves. The photos were taken in the different sets that were there, inside the workshop. So when they finally ended they were exhausted.
