Chapter 10. Prologue

Boom…

Booomm….

Somewhere far away, Meteors were crushed and turned into dust, planets are destroyed by unknown entities as the crashing sound of destruction was spitting images again and again…

BOOOM!

"Why are you following me? To my knowledge, I have not wronged you in any way, Motherfucker!"

A passionate feminist voice echoed loudly through an unknown universe.

In the vast emptiness, She stared disgustly in a particular direction. She has waist-length white hair, mature face — Perfect nose and sharp jawline — has perfect arc of thick eyebrows — With dark long lashes, which hang some small snowflakes.

It was her left deep red eyes that captivated most — Its iris was bearing seven distinct colour arrows pointing towards her pupils. In addition, Her face seems like a nasty ghost since her right side eye had been plucked out from its socket.

"Why the fuck you are bothering me for no reason at all?!?! Just let me go already, You son of bitch!" She yelled out in frustration and hatred.

Suddenly, A huge fire meteor came hurtling towards her.

"Shit-" Before any defensive measures could be brought up, She was hit by it, which propelled her into a different planet.

—Booom!

Both of them crash-landed on the unknown terrain, causing it to tremble due to collision as that meteor fragmented into two pieces.

When it dissipated into dust as that woman found herself laid down on the ground, injured, coughing up blood. Furthermore, Red liquid was leaking out from multiple wounds on her body.

Aria's face was drained of colour due to frazzled, Her body was covered in deep lacerations as if it were another layer of skin.

"Why?" She was struggling to speak through her pain as a gargantuan male dragon descended on the planet just ahead of her.

"Because… There is satisfaction when I'm testing my skills against someone as talented as yourself." His scaly skin exuding heat and his fiery veins pulsing like molten oranges.

This huge being has a face, large enough to devour one or two large equines as easily as one would eat a piece of candy. When he parted his jaws, torrid heat released into the surrounding atmosphere.

"What have I done to deserve this?" Aria Verlin couldn't help but lament — She was broken hearted at the memory of all the suffering she had endured throughout her existence.

Just when she believed her situation couldn't possibly deteriorate further - It was as if she'd inadvertently derided the universe.

Fate became a more cruel trickster, responding by plunging her into even more dire straits. Saying wouldn't be wrong that misfortune itself was determined to trap her in a life that was devoid of hope.

Tragedy clung to her like a relentless shadow as if she were the sole oasis in a barren landscape and calamities were an insatiable swarm.

Misfortunes fall at her spirit ceaselessly, each setback eroding her resilience bit by excruciating bit.

Aria sniffed. "Why me?"

"Why not?" Dragon replied while chuckling.

"You-. Ugh!" She grunted, tussled to stay on her feet, but she was too tired because of her continued battle for weeks. The exhaustion of facing this seemingly unbeatable foe was taking its toll as well.

"What did I ever do to you? It's not like I committed some terrible crime against you!"

Why her? What could she have possibly done to warrant such brutality?

'Sometimes, I can't help but think I'm merely a character in some author's manuscript. This author seems to take pleasure in my misfortunes as if they're working through their own frustrations through my struggles. Surely, that can't be true, can it? This is the real world, after all—a harsh place where kindness is as rare as a unicorn sighting.'

Aria couldn't fathom why this monster wanted to kill her. She had only ascended to the supreme realm — This bastard sought to erase her existence for no apparent reason.

There had to be some hidden motive, right? Or was he just some crazy manic want to kill her-

"You've done nothing to me personally." Dragon snickered, encircling around her body. "Whatever I did was to kill my time. Truly, It was an enjoyable moment till now! Oh wait, Do you even know; What is really delightful? Hmph?"

Aria stared forward, at a loss for words.

What was joy, really?

She had to admit, she found the very notion foreign now.

How could it not when she had nobody with whom she might have made beautiful moments to share? From earliest times in her life, people had always passed in and out of her existence: dying on her or turning into traitors.

He laughed insanely at her. "It is nothing other than remembering the day you wept over your families' lifeless vessels! Hahahaha!"

In the next second, Ground beneath them began to shift and bubble, transforming into molten lava. "... You know, those scenes still bring me such pleasure - When your face was a mask of stone, yet… tears of loneliness streaming down. Hehehe~~"

"H-How do you-" Her eyes blazed with unbridled abhorrence.

How is he aware of such stuff? Nobody had seen her crying!

Those who did, Either she killed them to vent up her anger or they died all because of her luck right after they were her allies. Thinking about it for a second, she couldn't help but reach a shocking conclusion.

"Fuck- Are you behind everything?" If her glare could kill someone, that beast would have been dead thousand times over and over, again and again.

"The entire universe, even the immortals themselves, don't call me a sadistic god for nothing." His scales shone with malevolent pride as Abbadon(His name) rolled his massive shoulders in a shrug of a mockery.

"Bringing death is my purpose; Written in my very essence." He amusedly lowered his voice in a menacing growl. "Would you like to know why I've been toying with you all this time?"

"WHY! WHY!" Every fibre of her being screamed for vengeance, yearning to tear the dragon with her bare hands.

In her mind, she envisioned a brutal cycle of violence - beating the beast to within an inch of his life, rending its flesh, then miraculously healing it only to start the process again.

"Why?!?!" She shouted many times! In her thoughts, Simply killing this monster wouldn't be enough as It could never satiate the deep well of hatred that had been caged inside her.

"Because..." Abbadon's grin spread impossibly wide. "I was bored!!!! HAHAHAHA~"

"... What the hell did you just say?"

Aria gritted her teeth so tightly they threatened to crack. Ignoring the searing pain of her fractured bones and her dangerously slow heartbeat, she forced herself to her knees.

"Oh? Are you actually going to kill me?" He taunted, drove his one claw into Aria's back.

—Cough!

Aria's body convulsed as she coughed up blood as her form lifted grotesquely by Abbadon's big claw.

"... Bast… ard…" She hung there, limp as a ragdoll, her limbs dangling uselessly and life was almost ebbed from within herself.

"How about we end this little game of cat and mouse?" Abbadon's words rumbled with sick hilarity. "Become my concubine, or continue to suffer. Your choice."

"...." Aria teetered on the brink of death — A single regret burned in her fading consciousness — Vow of vengeance for her family is still unfulfilled. Knowing, This failure would haunt her beyond death, tears were streaming down from the corner of her eyes.

"You're the most gifted woman I've encountered in all my years."

Although Abbadon was a little annoyed - He was still intrigued by his inability to penetrate her thoughts. "To wield god-like power at merely ninety-nine... truly remarkable."

"Who would have guessed that a seemingly ordinary girl could become so ruthless, so cold, so deliciously dark?" He innocently tilted his head, and had some options for her.

"Why don't you Join me? Serve at my will. I'll grant you a life beyond your wildest dreams." Completely cognizant of Aria's legendary pride and arrogance, Abbadon desires to assert his dominance.

—spit!

In a gesture of ultimate contempt, She spat directly into his face..

"Only… I… can tame… myself…" Then, She raised her trembling hand, extending her middle finger. "So Fuck… of… fff!"

The space quivered in Abbadon's erupting fury. Before even the rage overcame his nature, He maintained all the control.

A god is still a god - With divine status comes an impeccable grip on one's emotions, no matter how provoked because everyone here is legends. Legends never die!

"Ain't no way, This is your answer?"

In less than a second, He regained his whole composure. And Abaddon's body generated an intense heat.

Aria felt as though she were being roasted alive. She didn't scream now, having become physically immune to pain until this moment.

"Don't worry." He destroyed her body and seized her very soul as Aria fainted and couldn't hear his nonsense.

"I'll play with you, shatter your soul, and coerce you to kneel before me. Funny thing is… You'll do it on your own volition - Being my tool." Like all souls, she would reincarnate in a new world, memories wiped clean — Death, Rebirth, and the endless cycle of reincarnation with memory loss.

Abaddon was well familiar with the reincarnation cycle. In truth, This only made his enjoyment more profound and entertaining.

"Hehehe~~" He chuckled darkly.

"Take your time to return and seek your revenge. I will wait for your ascension in the supreme universe for all eternity."

Abaddon laughed for a while before fading into silence. He let out a deep sigh. "I should meet with the masters and request some worthy rewards, considering her…"

End of prologue.

"Really? Or is it because last night affected you so much that you couldn't stand being around me?" "Don't flatter yourself, Snow. You didn't affect me at all." He smirked, stepping closer. "Is that so?" His fingers brushed my chin, tilting my face up. My pulse quickened. "We're at work," I snapped, swatting his hand away. "This isn't professional." "You're my wife," he murmured. "You're supposed to obey me at all times." I bit back a retort, a hint of rebellion flaring within. Slowly, I stepped closer, letting my fingers graze his chest. His smirk wavered for a second when his wolf reacted and Snow bit his lips. "Careful, Boss," I purred seductively. "Don't hurt those lips. I'm sure plenty of girls would love to kiss them." Snow leaned down, his lips brushing my ear. "And you? Are you dying for a taste?" Caught off guard, I hesitated, then regained my composure as I looked him in the eyes. Defy The Alpha(s)

Two centuries after the Great War, peace between humans and werewolves was finally achieved, or so everyone believes. Werewolves reign like gods, and humans remain blissfully unaware of their true place in the new world order. To maintain this fragile balance, each year, a handful of "lucky" humans are selected from various districts to attend Lunaris Academy, a prestigious institution that promises glory, status, and a chance to mingle with the elite. Those chosen are hailed as the lucky few, destined to marry powerful alphas and rise as luna. This year, Violet Purple is among the chosen, much to everyone's surprise. For an orphaned girl adopted by a disgraced prostitute, this is a golden ticket to a better life or so she's told. But Lunaris Academy isn’t the paradise it’s painted to be. Everything Violet and her fellow humans have been taught is a lie. Humans are far from equal; they're pawns in a much larger game. The academy is nothing but a gilded cage, and the students are lambs led to slaughter, playthings for the alphas to toy with in their ruthless games. To make matters worse, Violet catches the attention of the most dangerous players in this game, the Terror Four: the Alpha of the North, Alpha of the South, Alpha of the East, and Alpha of the West. Each one is more dangerous, more twisted, and more powerful than the last. But even among themselves, the alphas are divided, each with their own deadly ambitions. Yet, they all have their eyes on her. They expect Violet to play along, to fall in line like the others who worship at their feet, to break under their games. But Violet isn’t like the others. She refuses to bow. She’ll defy them all. *********** With a grin that made her uneasy, he handed the application to her. “Approve this one.” Principal Jameson’s curiosity got the better of her as she took the paper from him, her eyes scanning the text. Almost immediately, her breath caught in her throat, her eyes widening in disbelief. “What the...?” “It’s perfect, isn’t it?” Asher’s voice was almost gleeful. Fucking psychopath! Jameson could hardly believe what she was reading. “Mr. Nightshade, with all due respect, this applicant….this girl just admitted to—” She couldn’t even finish the sentence, still horrified at the explicit nature of the application. Taking a deep breath, she continued, “I’m sorry, but I cannot approve this.” “She’s issued me a challenge,” Archer said, a dark gleam in his eyes. “What?” “‘Wait till you see me in bed,’” he repeated the bold line from the application, his grin widening. “And I can’t wait to find out.” “Mr. Nightshade—” He stood up, cutting off her protest as he fixed her with an intense stare. “Approve the application. I won’t ask again.” Without waiting for her response, Asher strode out of the office, confident she would follow his orders. He always got what he wanted. Archer Nightshade walked down the hall, a spring in his step. For the first time in a long while, he felt alive, his blood pulsing with excitement. The other Cardinal Alphas had no idea what he was up to, but it would soon hit them. He’d just set the game in motion. And the target was Violet Purple. It was game on. Note : This is not your average werewolf story. Eveything you think you know about werewolves would be challenged in this book. And yes, it is reverse harem. Do give the book a try.
