Alive... And Well

"Huh" Dong Tu felt like he was no longer a spirit could feel his new body which was at the time laying on the ground. He also is somehow able to recall memories which are not his own.

"WHAT?!" He looked at his body. It was not his. It looked different than his original body. Right now he was fatter, his stomach was so big he couldn't even see his legs and feet! Every movement made by his limbs was much smaller than in his first life. Even though back then he was about 50 years old and he could move faster! "It sure will be cumbersome in the future." he thought.

He began "recalling" his new memories. The person in whose body he is now was named 'Cao Kong' of the Da Fang clan, a large-sized clan in Fang Zhuan Mountain in the Southern Border. He was an A-grade aptitude rank 2 young master of the Cao family. It is the third strongest family in Da Fang clan. Cao Kong specialized in light-path gu worms prepared specially for him by his family.

"Wait." Dong Tu checked his aperture and he found no Gu worms! "Fuck, I have to get back to the Da Fang clan's city" Dong Tu finally got hold of his movements and decided to get back there as fast as he could. He was currently in a forest, which was very dangerous as wolves often come there. He began running in direction of Da Fang clan's city. His body barely able to run made him realize how hard it is to be this fat. His stomach wobbled as he ran in his set direction. Every second of running made him feel worse and worse.

"AHHH!" Dong Tu suddenly felt a sharp pain as his feet struck something on the ground. He fell down on his stomach. The pain was unbelievable, he barely managed to not vomit from the impact. He stayed immobile for about a minute.

"Why this body, why?! How did this fatass bring himself to such state?!" He lamented inwardly and got up with great effort from the ground. From what he calculated, he wasn't far from Da Fang clan's city. Soon he will be there. This time he ran more carefully, as he didn't want to experience another fall again. The forest was also becoming a bit calmer and less rough as he was close to the end of it.

"Finally, ugh, fuck my life!" Dong Tu cursed as he saw Fang Zhuan Mountain after getting out of the forest he barely left. Fang Zhuan Mountain had weird rocks, they were all cube-shaped. Each was a cube and the only variation in them was their size and thickness. It was the first time Dong Tu saw this on his own eyes. He was filled with interest as he grabbed one rock and examined it. He has only heard about Fang Zhuan Mountain in stories told by the merchants who got to Gu Yue Clan.

As he looked higher he saw the city of Da Fang Clan, it was a great city! Every building was made out of stone and the city was divided into five areas. First, there were the outskirts before the walls, there lived the poorest of mortals, who didn't have the funds or connections to live inside the city. Then inside the city was an area for richer mortals, who are able to afford the safety and prestige of living inside the city. The third area was created for lower-rank gu masters, The conditions there were better than in the areas used by mortals and there were even some shops and basic services for these gu masters. Deeper inside the city was an area designed for high-ranked gu masters, important families of Da Fang Clan and the services and goods provided there would make even the Gu Yue's Clan leader's eyes go shining. Dong Tu could clearly see that the difference between his older clan and the one right here was like heaven and earth. A whole new world opened for Dong Tu and he is even already part of it! The buildings in the fourth area were all extremely decorated and masterfully created! There were no imperfections there, everything looked like if it was created by the heavens themselves!

The last area in the center of the city was, where elders and clan leader made the most important decisions and where the family in charge of this clan lived. It was filled with elite gu master guards, whose look could even make a mortal faint! They were all completely devoted and fanatical to the current family ruling this clan - Da family. They all were trained by "special" methods so that their morale and fanaticism would be completely unmovable. Da Fang Clan is actually known to employ methods "questionable" of the righteous path. But even then, thanks to these methods Da Fang Clan is completely unbreakable and can only prosper more! After his death, Dong Tu realized that he can't any longer be a lax middle-aged man with no ambitions, or otherwise he will meet fate even worse than death.

Dong Tu's head suddenly began to hurt just because he thought of such possibility. But right now he has only one goal for now. That is to get back to his previous body owner's family and explain somehow that he "lost" his gu worms and they need to get others for him. He is actually anxious about trying to do that, as Cao Kong's father is known to be extremely hot-blooded and hates his son for his fatness.

"Well, I have no other choice..." Dong Tu said...
