1 Chapter 1- SHTF

So,

It was a normal day in my apartment,

I had my chicken tendies and chicken nugies with me in my freezer of a room.

The electricity bill was skyrocketing but it was the only way to survive in this oven of a state.

And plus I couldn't stop.

Not until I got to Max Prestige.

and then all of a sudden.

BOOM.

Sounded like an explosion from a dropped bomb.

And then, many more followed. So I naturally I peered through the curtains to check it out and That's when I realised that,

SHIT HIT THE FAN REAL QUICK.

"OH FUCK" WERE THE ONLY SENTENCES MY BRAIN COULD BLURT OUT AT THAT MOMENT.I knew I had to evacuate, so i grabbed my phone, my ballisong that i got as a gift, fumbled my shoes on and headed to the hall and THEN I SAW THE HALLWAYS WERE FILLED WITH PEOPLE TRYING TO EVACUATE, THE SIRENS WERE BLARING, I WAS HAVING A MENTAL BREAK DOWN, AND THEN THE BUILDING COLLAPSED. I saw that it was falling on to another building. It seemed ridiculous but it was my only chance.

I had to jump from this building to the other.

So I braced my self and RAN FOR IT.

USAIN BOLT WOULD HAVE BEEN JEALOUS.

I RAN LIKE A BULL TOWARDS A RED TOWEL IN CARTOONS, YEETED MY SELF ONTO THE OTHER BUILDING AND THEN KEPT RUNNING TO THE OTHER SIDE AS FAST AS I COULD BECAUSE BOTH THE BUILDINGS WERE GRINDING AGAINST EACH OTHER. Then I made it down the building with the stairs.

Then I Saw the aftermath.

"Oh God"

"What now"

BOY DID I KNOW WHAT WAS ABOUT TO HAPPEN.

I was walking for a solid 2 minutes before the adrenaline wore off.

I had not only pierced my skin but probably my bone too with a few glass shards. Then I Saw someone.

He belonged to the army and he was dressed appropriately with the US army uniform and gear. He caught eye of me and shouted "HEY YOU THERE".

I pointed to my self and mouthed "me?"

because I didn't have the strength to make a proper sentence.

"YEAH YOU, GET OVER HERE".

I limped over to him and immediately face planted, and ate shit. Next thing I knew I saw that he injected me with like one of those stim looking things and few seconds later I was able to stand up and actually thank him. " No probs, besides we've got bigger thing to worry about.

The army dude:" Ok. The name's Jack by the way"

Me: "Ok thank you.... So what just happened over there?"

Jack: "Oh that building was blown down from a cluster strike, those are banned by the Geneva convention,(he was saying to himself but still audible to me)not only that but they're going for civilian targets and there is no other airfield nearby except marry the airport? but that's a stretch though."

me:"huh?"

Jack:"Sorry got a bit carried away. I'll try to contact base just stay here with me and you'll be fine"

me:"Ok"

we were in a small house reduced to rubble, but it would do for now.

Jack:"Shit, they arent responding"

Me:"WHAT NOW?"

Jack: First lets try to get out of here and then mabey contact HQ from there. (I TOTALLY UNDERSTOOD WHAT JACK SAID) But the problem is that the Eastern Coalition is moving in on LA already so its gonna be hard.

Me: especially considering the fact that i only have my Smart phone and a pair of running shoes.
