It was already more than halve a year since the advent of magic. As such the war incident in east north Africa was named. The world calmed down quite a bit as the world of science declared that it will take around a year for something to appear to research and it will take 5 – 10 years before the normal human will be able to come in contact with it.

While a year may be needed for normal researchers to get their hands on mana and magic. The UN special research team already could go to work after their 'holidays'.

While out of necessity, the R & D for electronics and materiel-technology was only getting started slowly. The Biology department couldn't stop working. This come from the trait that living matter can better absorb Mana and then grow and mutate in a shorter period of time. With this they were the only department not lacking experimental subjects.

Alexander was sitting alone in his laboratory, trying to blend out all the cries and pleas he could hear. He tried to remember that one conversation with Grimaldi:

( Soooooo, your talent enables you to hear the inner emotional thoughts of any lesser being. Lesser being defined as a being with consciousness but only a very low intellect. You can feel the emotion of things with only the bare minimum of a consciousness but close to no intellect. If you are trying to read the thoughts of a being of your intellectual and power level you can only do it if you are trained and the other being puts down his guard. Both sides need to be trained as many aren't even able to actively take control of the abilities of their own soul. If you try to attack a being you need to be ready for a backlash if you are defeated. Attacking a mage of higher standing is never good as they normally have a passive defense that is already too high for you. A strong mage normally is also able to actively fight against you. When doing fights between souls in the fifth dimension you need to be aware that leaving the Membrane completely will likely be a highway to death. With this I can only advice you to train on lesser beings with the soul absorption and after that soul connection technique. )

( No never heard it before and I also can't really ask this … This system. This system is so difficult to understand. First it is impossible to interact with it but when I do or need something it just helps out in the background. )
