Chapter 88: Am I Still Worthy?

She woke him up one last time to eat dinner before he returned to sleep.

During dinner, not one of them spoke but at the very least, he had still eaten what she prepared.

After fixing everything, she checked on him one last time and seeing as he was still in deep sleep, she silently returned to her own unit before sending a message to Beatrice.

"I'll inform you in another two days. I will do my best to convince him if I deem it still necessary for him," was the content of the message.

Though she did want to add that Beatrice shouldn't come for the time being but she can't do that.

Beatrice was his childhood friend, she has no right to stop her from coming and checking on Slate.

"I understand, then I will fix a few things during this time. Please watch over him," was the answer and Amethyst sighed in relief.
