8 In motion

Sara was at a loss of what to do. She could buy a less expensive virtual reality gaming headset and gear, but then she wouldn't be able to afford the game IronAge. She'd have to start her channel on a game that was already on the market and she didn't like the idea of doing that since it would surely effect the amount of people that would watch her.

Sara re-checked her bank account. She had a little over $700 left in it after buying everything for her other channel.

She checked her followers and views on her first channel.

Her fame as a viral sensation wouldn't last, that much was true, but it wouldn't disappear over night either.

If she focused on the sure to die persona for a month, then she should have enough money in order to start her second channel….

Sara decided to do that.

Every two weeks, her fame earnings would be deposited into her account. All she needed to do was to post a few videos that wouldn't cause people to immediately leave, and wait.

She began setting up her new filming area. She took down her old back ground of a pink blanket with white flowers and decided to leave it as the stark grey wall.

Her lighting and sound equipment was relatively easy to set up and her new camera sat in front of her atop a tripod.

She knew from the comments that a majority of the people that were praising her were in fact trolls that loved to see other's trolling.

So, she decided to become the trolliest troll that would forever be trollier that thou. Except she wanted to make it seem as if she herself was out of the loop. That she took herself WAY too seriously, as she had seen countless people do before after gaining viral sensationalism.

Sara didn't know that after receiving the tiniest bit of leeway and having just a bit of the pressure seemingly taken off of herself, she was genuinely able to make content and videos that she actually enjoyed making. Because she did not take this channel as seriously as she once had, she was able to do content that she never would have tried before. She was able to make a joke out of it, something that not many others had the guts to do, merely because of the pressure put on them by the rules in their society that prevented them from exploring their own creativity and personality. She didn't have to care if people stopped watching her videos after that initial month, because she was determined to make her second channel a success. It didn't matter to her anymore, as long as that first month paid out.

So, for her first video, she decided to talk about the experience of becoming a viral sensation. But, she herself didn't realize that because her mindset had changed, the way she handled the situation changed as well. Certain things will always slip out, when you're trying your hardest to come across as a fake persona.

Despite the fact that she wanted others to see her as taking herself too seriously, she in fact made it seem as if she were making fun of herself and her situation. And she was doing so in a way that left other's guessing. Was she being serious? But, there was no way, no one can actually think of themselves in such a way. To her viewers, she appeared to be making fun of not just herself, but all other viral sensations that had taken themselves too seriously and thought of themselves more influential and important than they really were.

Like that girl that went viral from a rant about make up that tried to rally her "fans" to attack the comment section and to down vote the videos of another relatively famous Televiz star.

Or that guy that became a viral sensation after a police interview and was later seen screaming in a restaurant at an employee about being an internet star saying that "You better watch yourself! I can end your career!"

Or how about that 18 year old kid that ended up tamponing himself with a skateboard and his high pitched scream then became the musical background for so many memes and videos who actually tried to pick a fight with an officer, then rally his "fans" to get him released on false charges.

To the viewers, Sara seemed to be taking the piss out of her situation and how ridiculous other's in a similar position to her own actually behave.

This, of course, caused her viewership to maintain its average and even caused a few more people to give her some valuable follows.

In what seemed like the longest month that Sara had ever had to endure, Sara was finally ready to put her overall plan into motion. It has to be said, her viewership on her first channel, after posting a dozen video's on it in that new persona, was steadily increasing and her follower count had gone up by almost half of what it had been. While Sara only equated this to the temporary boost from her viral sensationalism, in reality these were genuine people that enjoyed the content she was now creating. While her viral video was still what most people knew her by, there was a small amount of genuine fans that had begun to fill up her follower count.

In fact, Sara was able to afford going forward with her plans for her second channel two weeks sooner than she originally thought she'd be able to. Originally, she had believed that she would have to wait a week after that month passed, but instead she was able to go ahead with her second channel the week before the month ended. This surprised her, but it wasn't so shocking that she realized anything amiss.

So, Sara bought her VR equipment, yearly subscription and pre-ordered her IronAge game.

Now, all that was left was to familiarize herself with the equipment and wait for the games release.
