1 'The innate goodness system'

'Where the heck am I ?' was her first thought as she opened her eyes only to find herself in a bright place, whilst sitting on a jelly-like sofa. Around her were lush green grass and trees which extended in all directions till one's eyes could see. Colorful and bright flowers bloomed all around, adorned with diverse species of butterflies.

Ming was quite surprised to witness such a breathtaking scene in front of her. It made her want to relax, with no worries to bother her mind.

Even though her brain was telling her to look around to find some help to escape, her body wanted nothing more than to rest on the jelly. Ming, who was born lazy decided to rest on it since there was no such thing like this in her world. It was even more softer than slime and was stable even when huge moments were made by her.

After laying till she was satisfied, she got up and searched around. She reached a beautiful waterfall after walking for sometime. Again her brain and her body started giving her their own opinion. Her brain wanted her to move on while her body wanted her to rest while soaking her feet under water.

And of course, our female lead would obviously choose to listen to her body when it comes to mattes like hunger and resting. Absorbing the energy of sun while the enjoying the cool water for a few minutes, her mind slowly started drifting to wonderland when she heard a voice which made her fully awake.

"Why are you enjoying yourself quite happily instead of escaping from here?", a childlike voice was heard out of nowhere. Ming moved her head to see who was the one talking to her. After finding nothing she pondered for a while with her eyes closed.

" First of all, I don't really know how to escape from here nor do i know what kind of place this is. And to the part of the question about enjoying myself, which segment of this place is not enjoyable?", Ming answered in a calm voice. As a normal person she should have been scared and anxious. But being a huge fan of novels, she had read all kinds of novels with different genres while imaging herself in those situations. So when she found herself to be in such place she felt rather excited than the latter.

" But aren't you too calm in this kind of situation?". Again the child-like voice was heard. She found it funny since the voice was kinda serious but childish.

" So what? Should I scream like a like a lunatic for you to let me out?", she answered while indifferent face, waiting for his answer to find the direction of the voice.

'Indeed so what? Its not like screaming could help her find a way. I chose the right person for this task', innate goodness system thought to itself.

" Let me tell you why you are here"

A screen suddenly popped in front of Ming. A detailed report about her appeared on the screen. From her name, talents ,hobbies to even her sleeping postures was shown on the screen which slightly amused her. It even contained the details which even she was unaware of. She just smiled at the sight of all those information about her. ' Quite a detailed research it had done heh', she thought.

Next to it were different slot, each held information as well as rankings which varied from A to F.

" I am 'THE INNATE GOODNESS SYSTEM' who will be briefing you about your task and your purpose to be here. Let me begin by explaining to you about the worlds first. The novels which you humans always read are actually different worlds that coexist along with your world.

Each time a human in your world writes a novel, a new world is created. Every world consists Male lead, Female lead, Second male and female leads, villain and villainess and several other supporting characters.

These worlds are however not main world like yours. Main worlds can create many branch worlds which would exist only for short period of time or until when the 'authors', who have the ability to create these worlds, want them to. Everything was peaceful until the FL and ML created by 'authors' who have brought these worlds to exist, deviated from the paths determined for them. Or to be exact, met different ends due to the disturbances created by someone.

That someone was none other than the villain as well as villainess of the novel. Every time they were defeated, they turned out to be even more powerful . They became stronger and stronger over time and in the end became undefeatable by even the ML and the FL. It was estimated by my creator that, due to certain reasons their hatred for ML or FL exceeded the limitations. The more evil the soul is, the more stronger their aura become. Over time, the character soon started to lose its sanity and in the end brought nothing but chaos to these worlds.

Destruction of these worlds are creating disturbances to other branch worlds as well. But matters were not as simple as that. In worst case scenario, it might also effect the main worlds. To prevent these from happening, i was created. And from now on you will be assisting me in doing so". The system started gasping for air since it spoke for quite a long time.

"Hey wake up. Did you even listen to what i said?", the system screamed in horror seeing that Ming had closed her eyes and was sleeping peacefully on the comfortable grass while it spent so much effort to explain things for her.

"Don't worry I listened to your long speech. To explain simply you want my help to save these worlds ", she said as she woke up."But are you my friend, my family or my lover?! Why should I help you clean the mess others have created?". She questioned intriguingly with one of her eyebrows raised.

She was indeed curious as to why the system thought she would agree to it. Her pretty face from the start held a smile which looked like a blooming flower in the cold and dull winter, but it rather looked irritating than beautiful to the system. The system indeed knew that she would not agree so easily.
