Chapter Seventeen

Nor got the alcohol ready. It took her a while and it wasn't the best, but it was better then nothing. At the same time, she got a fire ready and brought over a dagger, something they obtained before.

"What should I do first?" They learned a bit about medicine, but what could they actually do? Having a bit of knowledge didn't make one a doctor.

"Well, wash your hands and disinfect them as much as you can." Alem stated while getting into an easier position. "Once that's done, don't wipe your hands with anything. You're going to dig straight in and just pull it out gently. Be slow." His face was a little sweaty, maybe it was the hot water or the thought of getting surgery in such a way. "Samir and Kir, make sure you hold me tight in case I move around too much." Whether he had high pain resistance or not, pain was pain. He would flinch and move around because it. "As for you Salea, you will be responsible for stopping the bleeding with the hot dagger. And Nor, stand there and look pretty." He smirked in the end, causing the rest to feel less anxious.

"Shut up." A little annoyed, that was all Nor said.

Soon after, Eli began. She stuck a single finger inside, since two weren't entering. "I think I'm almost there." Sliding her finger down the arrow, she slowly reached the tip. "Alright, it's here."

"Drag the arrow up, but move aside the flesh and try to avoid cutting more of the area." The arrow was sharp. Like glass, it could cut easy.

Nodding her head, Eli grabbed the end of the arrow with one hand and slowly pulled.

"Hrnn!" Alem groaned while clenched his teeth.

Eli panicked a little but still pulled slowly. Her fingers pushed aside anything that got in the way. "Almost out." She said slowly.

"Salea, get the knife ready." She nodded her head and began to heat the dagger. A few seconds later, Alem saw the large arrow head in Eli's hand. It was crescent shaped. "Alright, do it." Putting his shirt into his mouth, Alem watched Salea near him with the glowing dagger. "Hrnn!" The hot blade began to stop the bleeding, yet his groaning only continued.

Unfortunately, the first time she burned his shoulder wasn't enough. After placing the blade into the fire once again, Salea cam back for round two.

"Damn, this is fucking crazy." Samir spoke in a hushed tone.

"You don't say?" Alem spoke in weak breaths as Eli began to clean the wound. "Anyways, this shouldn't cause much a problem anymore. We can go exploring."

"You need to rest first." Eli said, not even looking up.

"It isn't necessary. I can use my other arm well, so I don't need to wait. Plus, this will heal after a long while. Why wait?" It wasn't needed. Waiting was pointless since the wound itself would take months to heal. "So, get things ready and let's head out."

"Before that, Eli take these." Noor suddenly passed five pellets to Eli. "Absorb these. Alem take this last one for yourself. The rest of us have already absorbed the rest."

"Sure." Alem said with a smile.

"What do you mean sure?" Eli suddenly frowned. "Alem should have been the first one to absorb five, so why is he the last, and even then why is he only given one?"

"Because we can get more pellets whenever Alem feels like it." Nor replied in confusion.

"What does that mean? Alem obtained these pellets, so we should be fair to him." Eli was still a little irked.

"Eli, it's not a big deal. Nor is right, I can get them whenever I want. Plus, now that all of you have all the pellets, atleast I won't need to rush for my own." Alem didn't care about the pellets. Just like how he obtained more then twenty in one go, he could get lots whenever he wanted. They had lots of time.

"See." Nor said with a snort.

"You guys are very unfair." Eli snorted. "Alem, take mine. I'll get some later.

"Eli!" Nor growled.

"What?"

"Eli, listen to Nor. She isn't doing anything wrong. It isn't even unfair. Remember, I promised to give you guys priority, remember? And in the end, I don't care for the pellets. They're things that can be obtained whenever I want." Patting the cute girls head, Alem looked at Nor with a smile. "Don't worry, you did nothing wrong, alright?"

"Whatever, see if I care." Eli throw the cloth into the tub before stomping away.

"This girl." Alem shook his head. "She'll cool down later. Nor, get things prepared for the trip now. Make sure we have the food and water. Also, bring a sword and dagger for me. I'll use those as my weapons for now. Actually, bring me the whip as well."

"No problem." Nor said. "As for animals, I feel other that it would be unnecessary to bring them."

"Yeah. Yellow and Brown can stay back protecting the base. But bring my snake, Sandy. I haven't actually hung out with him at all." He rarely spent time with Sandy, it was mostly Eli.

"Got it. I'll go prepare. Salea, come help me out." With that, only Kir and Samir remained.

"Dude, you and Eli are in no way friends." Samir brought up the topic once again.

"I agree. She may be my cousin, but I've never seen her lash out like that." Kir also gave in his piece.

"Well, even if she likes me, I can't do anything about that. She's a close friend, and honestly that's all I see." Alem shrugged his shoulders.

"You're dumb. Such a pretty girl, if she liked me, I would go crazy." Samir spoke enviously from the side.

"Oh please. You get so many girls. I wouldn't be surprised if Nor or Salea both fall for you in time." Shaking his head, Alem got out of the tub of water. Putting his pants on, he began to walk back home. "Anyways, forget about this whole thing. I will only go for a girl who I actually fall for. That isn't Eli, but the future is unknown."

"Hey, what if my little Alem does take your Nillian girls. What then?" Shameless leaned on a couch, looking at a stunning woman. Her hair was blue, while her eyes were a mix of red and purple.

"It's alright." The woman spoke in a dull voice.

"You can't still be thinking about it." Shameless spoke from the side, this time the teasing from his voice was gone.

"Do you not think about the Sinel Lord?" She asked, her voice soothing. Everything about her was attractive, yet Shameless was ignoring it all. "Why can't I think about my daughter?"

"You're right." Sighing deeply, Shameless looked towards the ceiling. "It is a pity both of them disappeared."

"Alem will hopefully succeed. With him still around, the world will never develop." Her beautiful eyes became misty. "If only the Vir was still around."

"The Vir…" Shameless closed his eyes while exposing a bitter expression. "That man was truly a powerhouse. Even Celius paled in comparison."

Both became sullen, thinking about the glory of the Human leader. The man that previously controlled all.

"Well, I'll head out for now." The Gilly Queen got up and walked towards the exit. "Shameless, train him well. That bastard Arn—"

Suddenly Shameless covered her mouth with his hands, his face serious. "Don't say his name. hate him, despise him, but don't say his name."

Her watery eyes closed. "I am lonely now. My daughter is gone. She was everything to me."

Lowering his hand, Shameless sighed. "Gilly, although you're an Original Original like myself, you were not there in the true beginning." His hand waved as he appeared in front of a broken throne. The Gilly Queen looked at the throne with a throb. It was the Vir's.

Walking forward, Shameless gently touched the seat, his eyes deep. "You and I may have been enemies in the past, but since the day I met you, I adored you. As many did." The Gilly Queen was considered one of the most outstanding female in the multitude of universes. Many wanted her or her daughter. Yet, the Gilly Queen was too powerful for that.

"Yet you did such shameless things to my daughter." Though the words were harsh, Gilly didn't show an expression of hate or anger, rather her face was dull, feeling nostalgic of the past.

"Haha." Shameless laughed lightly. "You already know that it was all a joke back then." Shameless shook his head. "Back then, the Vir was a student of mine."

"The Vir?!" Gilly suddenly widened her eyes.

"Yes." Shameless sighed. "Technically, the first few Original Originals were my students."

"How, they were born before you." She spoke in shock.

"That isn't true." He shook his hand from left to right. "The first being born was no one, but me. And do you know what I saw the moment I was born?"

"What?" She asked in curiosity.

"I saw a man."

"Man? What kind of man?" She asked in curiosity.

"He was a powerful man." Shameless' face became heavy as he stared at the throne. "He was tall with hair that kept falling into the endless void. His eyes were like the dying moon of Vir's last howl. He stared at me with those eyes, which could pierce everything in our universe."

Gilly listened in fear. She was weaker then Shameless by a large margin. Very few exceeded the man in front of her. Though he looked like a handsome old man, he was much more. "What was he doing there?"

"He was carrying two wings." Shameless spoke with clenched fists.

"One held a wing that resembled the Hell lords. The other was identical to the Heaven lords." Snapping his fingers, Shameless brought out an orb which showed the exact image. "While the universe was being developed around, I watched him throw the white wing in the center, boosting the birth of the universe. As for the black wing, he tore it to shreds, sprinkling it all over." With his body shaking, the events were played on the orb. "We were not born naturally." He said suddenly.

"We were created?" Gilly asked.

"Not everyone, only the three lords." Suddenly, a large figure was seen within the ord. It was larger than anything and everything. It had two wings on it's back. One black, the other white. Orbs flew around it's neck. The figure was beautiful, yet devilish. Two holes were present on it's chest.

"What is that?" Gilly took a few steps back, trembling. Though just an image, fear was built from the bottom of her heart.

"Have you ever wondered why the three lords were so exceedingly powerful? Why were they different from the rest?" Shameless questioned here. "Why were the three clans so powerful? One created, one destroyed, and one controlled. Why?"

"Is it because of this?" She asked.

"This thing is the parent of the three lords."

"Parent?!" She spoke in shock.

Nodding his head, Shameless continued his explanation. "This thing is what Vir called a Territory Lord. One of the many Territory Lords."

"Territory Lord?" She questioned, still feeling weak.

"Our multitude of universes are called Territories in the vast void. The Vir was the Territory Lord of this small territory. After he killed Vir, he is now the Territory Lord. The man with long black hair was also a Territory Lord." Shameless gave a historical recount. "The three lords told me about their memories. They were at one point one. The black-haired man waged war in a Territory deep in the void until this thing died. Splitting it's body into three, the three lords were then born."

"Then where is this man now?" She asked.

"He is gone. All I know is that his plan is deep." His purple eyes looked towards the sky. "He is planning on waging war. I don't know how he learned of the other territories, but he knows."

"Would he not need more people on his side for such a large task?"

"I don't know his thoughts, however I met him recently." Shameless felt his body tremble. "His power is not any lower then the black-haired mans. He is expanding his power, so our territory has become useless to him. Why do you think he would conduct such an experiment?"

The Gilly Queen kept silent. What could she say or think? Despite being in the top echelon, this was a secret that even she didn't know.

"The reason I tell you this is because times are changing again." Clenching his fists, he crushed the throne. "The reason he is conducting this experiment isn't just because of boredom, he –"

"Shameless!" Suddenly, The Gilly Queen watched Shameless become dust vanishing into thin air.

"He's calling me. While I'm gone, protect Alem and make sure he trains well. Everything depends on him!" With that, Gilly was left alone in a torn down throne room.
