22 Chapter 22
While Leo was out enjoying some time to himself, back at the make-shift camp, Robin and Amber were busy scrolling through the class list.
"It's a shame we couldn't get to 10 fast enough to get a Unique Class..." Amber said.
"I guess.. but I'm scared of what kind of pain we would have had to suffer if we did get a Unique Class... after watching what happened to Leo during his class change, I think I would have been too scared to choose one..." Robin retorted.
Amber looked towards Robin with a trace of sympathy on her face.
"I understand what you're saying Robin, but we can't continue to be a burden on Leo.. If we want to remain by his side, then we need to get stronger and become useful as quickly as possible.
The world has changed and we need to change with it.
I have this itching feeling in the back of my mind that if we don't work hard to grow as strong as possible that we may have to endure hardships far worse than the pain Leo endured during his class change."
Robin remained silent and simply nodded her head in agreement.
She too had the same nagging feeling.
It was akin to a persistent sense of deja vu; as if they had done all of this before.
Rather than continue wasting their time on idle chitchat though, the girls continued scrolling through the list.
Since all the unique classes were gone, those were obviously out of the question, but their were still 91 Mythic Class choices remaining and that number was continuously dropping so they were left with no choice but to quickly come to a decision.
Although the girls wanted to be quick about it, the fact that there were 892 different Mythic Classes to scroll through, made the process take a considerable amount of time.
After scrolling for about 15 more minutes and the Mythic Class choices dropping below 50, Amber was the first of the two to find something that caught her attention.

Although not quite the most elegant of woman, Amber had always found peace in dance as a child.
The Void Dancer class spoke to her love of graceful movements while also giving her the abilities she sometimes wished for the most; the ability to disappear from a moment.
Rather than make a hasty decision though, Amber continued to scroll through the list.
Although she continued to scroll, nothing else seemed to jump out of the screen at her, whether that was because she had already made up her mind or not, she didn't care.
So after scrolling back up to where the Void Dancer was, Amber hesitated no more and made her choice.
Before accepting the notification about the impending changes, she would endure, she made sure to let her sister know not to worry.
Despite the fearful expression on Robin's face, Amber did not hesitate any longer and made accepted.
Unlike Leo, Amber did not lose consciousness immediately.
Due to the fact that she was already in relatively good shape and the fact that her class choice did not involve something on the level of Leo's Temporal Physique, the changes she had to endure were miniscule by comparison.
Amber, of course, was not aware of this at first, so she was braced for searing pains and breaking bones, but the worst she had to endure was her muscles stretching to their maximum tension only to release a moment later.
That process continued for a few minutes before it felt like somebody, or something, had covered her entire body at once in the kind of pressure one would experience during a deep tissue massage.
She could feel her muscles slowly loosening and the toxins that existed in her deep tissue being forcefully extracted.
Before the toxins could affect her in any negative way however, they were suddenly purged by some mysterious force within her body.
Still unaware of the capabilities of mana, Amber marveled at the sensations occurring within her.
Rather than pain, the sensations she was enduring were more pleasurable than anything she had ever experienced before.
As the process came to an end and the tension and pressure dissipated, a sensation of weightlessness and unparalleled flexibility washed over her.
Amber simply laid on the group and reveled in the sensation.
She was so enraptured that she had failed to notice that Robin had been attentively watching her the entire time, waiting for something bad to happen.
The look of pleasure on Amber's face seemed to give Robin the confidence to finally make her choice.
The truth was, that she had already made her choice long before Amber had even sat down to begin her search.
She was simply too scared to start the process.
Robin knew that her lack of courage could be a detriment in the future, but she also knew it was impossible for someone to change who they were completely in a single day, so it would be a work in progress.
Psyching herself up one more time, Robin made her choice.

After accepting the Class, Robin tensed up and waited for any unknown sensation to assault her.
And waited.
And waited.
Yet, nothing happened.
Thinking something had gone wrong and she hadn't actually clicked the button, Robin opened her notifications.
The last notification she received said, [Congratulations on gaining the skill: Summon Luminara Whisperwing!]
Elated she had seemingly evaded any foreign sensations caused by the class change; Robin opened up her new summoning skill.

She's known to be mischievous at times but uses her playfulness to lighten the mood and bring joy to those she heals.]
Robin, being the shy and reserved girl she was, had no desire to fight on the front lines.
When she read the description of her new class, she couldn't help the childlike whimsy inside of her from rearing its head.
What little girl didn't love the idea of cute faeries?!
And the excitement she had cautiously allowed herself to feel only increased when she read the description of Luminara.
Without hesitating any longer, Robin quickly activated the skill to summon Luminara.
After a flash of light, a fairy, exactly as described in the skill, appeared out of thin air.
Luminara who was no more than a foot and a half tall, floated in midair, looking at Robin whilst Robin stared back at her with stars in her eyes.
Robin couldn't stop herself any longer and jumped towards her new companion with arms wide, ready to embrace the small fairy.
"SO CUUUUTTEEE!!!!"
Luminara, as if having experienced this exact moment countless times, rolled her eyes before evading Robin's lunging embrace.
"Master... how many times must you crush me before you are satisfied?!"

I'm back ladies and gentlemen!
My apologies for disappearing for a week and a half but honestly, I needed to take some time to think about what I wanted to do next as well as spruce up the old resume so I could start applying for jobs.
(I might have been a tad bit depressed at losing my job, but who knows for sure. Haha)
I am going to be working on another chapter for today and I will get it out in a few hours!
